She came on a really short notice to meet my two cats and grab a set of my keys and I felt comfortable after meeting her - she's super friendly and nice and seems to really love cats. I had her come twice over the weekend to feed and play with them (and do some light litterbox cleaning) and she could not have been better! Each visit was $25 all in and she keeps you updated with texts and photos and even videos. It was really nice to see my cats in action while I was missing them and see how well taken care of they were. Dami even cleaned and washed their food bowls without being asked! She was super personable and a huge animal lover and I'll definitely be using her for future cat sitting visits :)

She is one of the most dependable and nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet. She is also a kick ass dog walker/sitter! Long weekend? Short notice? Week long vacation? Farrah never once turned down a job in the three years she worked with us. She never missed a scheduled walk either. If anything came up she would find coverage for you. My wife and I never had to worry! She spoiled us beyond belief. Most importantly though, our dogs absolutely LOVE Farrah. We are moving away from Astoria, so we will need to find a new walker. Word of mouth and references (yelp basically) is the only feasable way to know for sure so I yelped away and found that Farrah was at the top of her game. One after another, people are happy with her so I said if I have no choice but to trust someone with my apartment keys and to take care of our little guy, she's definately the one. Basically if everyone loves her and uses her, its someone you can trust. Now what cat marbles said about her: As you all are well aware, a cat of my pedigree and breed (scottish fold) dares not venture to a boarding place for they are all incompetent and beneath me! With that said, Farrah was a darling who came and fed me twice a day for 3 days, and played with me with endearing love. I know this because my human masters showed me daily pics of me they received from Farrah showing me happy and playful. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is for not offering to at least give us a discount after our dog ingested hard pieces of plastic while in their daycare with Norma. He came home and started to vomit right away and after the 3rd time he did it, I decided to take him to his vet to see if his intestines were clear - if not, his life could have been in danger. I'm glad that at least he vomited them all as seen in an x-Ray and he only needed to take some tablets for his upset stomach. I also understand that we can get distracted while taking care of a puppy, but I didn't like the fact that I spent +$300 due to someone else's distraction and wasn't offered anything to compensate it somehow and rebuild my trust.
