Jay who works mornings at Talk n Fix has really helped out twice with our cell phones, saving us over 50% from the Apple store and we've never had a problem with the quality of his work. He is courteous, shares about how he likes his job and this company, he was nice and made my baby laugh, and even gave me a discount of the new screen protector (I had a screen replaced.) We've been here twice (zone for my iPhone and once for my husband's) and we know now that whenever we need iphone repair, I drive 45 min one-way to work with Jay. read more

These guys did not deliver on their promises. My Wife ordered a battery for her tablet and when it arrived... We were told the screen might crack when installing the new battery and were asked "is that ok?". Really? Oh!! And don't let me forget the employee, Lony (i think), was very aggressive and actually told me he'd kick my a## and asked me if I wanted to go outside. The mall manager got involved because of all the commotion and had to walk with us to make sure Lony didn't get more aggressive. Really? read more

These guys are sadistic and scam artists. They ruined our phone and wasted countless hours, and caused so much frustration. We took the phone here for a cracked screen and came out with a completely non-functioning phone. They didn't care and tried to accuse us of further damaging the phone. Stay away at all costs! Don't get scammed. read more

Had to cracked iPad screens. Gentleman named Jay fix them extremely fast. Great customer service. Will be going back

Jay is a wonderful resource for repairs. He has replaced screens for me and my partner. He is very knowledgeable and communicated the problem with my phone's button before he opened it. The previous place actually put defective parts in my iphone. I will be taking all of my electronic devices to Jay. read more

Their the best at taking an iphone or ipad and turning into a paperweight. The staff lie about how long a repair will take, when the tech is in, well.. just about all the CYA they can come up with. Then the tech slaps thru the repairs, not bothering to replace screws or use the right kind of glue. And of course if you have a problem with their work, they just can't be bothered. They don't even respond to BBB complaints. read more

This place ruined my iPad. After having it repaired, I soon noticed all kinds of lint under the screen. This continued to accumulate dust, debris, etc because I'm guessing they didn't seal the screen well. It got to the point my iPad was hard to use because of the debris under the screen and started making bright scorch marks. The screen also very easily broke (not dropped) and was made of super cheap material. Sadly this experience rendered my iPad unusable and I had to buy a new one. I should have just paid the extra money and gone to the Apple store. read more

Great service. Perfect OEM replacement. Very happy. Short story - had our iPad previously repaired by a different company (mail-in company in CA). The action on that old repaired screen was never quite right. Having reinjured our iPad and having never been satisfied with our previous repair, decided to take it to these guys on a whim. What a difference! The gentleman at Talk N' Fix removed the screen and showed my wife the stark difference between what screen our old repair shop used and what he was putting in as an OEM equivalent. The other repair shop put in a very thin screen that appears to be made of acrylic instead of actual aluminosilicate glass. That other screen was also noticeably thinner than the one Talk N' Fix was using. Well post repair the screen feels and operates as it did when new. It is almost trippy as we had just kind of got used to the repaired screen's shortcomings. These guys are not the cheapest in town (mall convenience tax I guess), but their product/service is outstanding and the convenience is great. I'd use them again. read more

Do not do business with the Talk N Fix cart. I paid for a repair on 2/5 and they said they needed to order the parts. Over the next two weeks, I have called to check on my parts and keep getting conflicting information. Today, 2/19, I called their corporate office and talked to Linda. She said she would get a status and call me back. Instead, I received a text stating they refunded my money, NO Call! I tried to call the corporate offices to find out what happened and now I just get a recording that my call cannot be transferred and the call is disconnected. Two weeks wasted without a phone and no explanation! read more

Never use talk n fix at Flatirons mall! My son had his glass replaced and also a cover glass put on a week ago. My son dropped it from his hand with a case covering the phone and the underneath glass broke but not the cover glass. The glass is cheap quality and will break easily! When I took a photo so I could post a review the man at the kiosk pushed my hands and almost made me drop my phone and said if I tried to take another photo that he would swat my phone and didn't care if it broke. Unbelievable!!! Bad glass and horrible customer service! By the way Apple will replace the front glass for $120 instead of $90 with quality glass. read more

The 2 yahoos running the store are idiots. Last Sunday the cases were not only unlocked but open for everyone to help them out. Their sign said "be back in 10 mins" they were gone for over an hour. When we wanted contact info they said one of them was the owner! If he was the owner he would care about what they had done. The younger high school immature had a real attitude and said "why would I give a f...." I'm quitting next week! Even if you are you don't tell a customer this. There is no customer service left anymore! I would fire these 2 idiots before they run your business into the ground! read more

Rip off rip off. If I could give zero stars I would. Went to get screen repaired and left with a broken phone that will not charge anymore. Conveniently my charging port stopped working as soon as my screen got changed, another $85 to get the charging port fixed. Not to mention the screen was a very low quality screen with glitches as well. Do yourself a favor and take your phone to the Apple store or anywhere else. Rad or rod the owner skinny tall guy is very nice at first. He even offers 3 months warranty but does not actually provide that. When I went back he stopped working on my phone because he got upset, because I was asking him questions about the issue. Want good service go elsewhere. Stay away hopefully you will avoid this guys before it is too late. read more

I destroyed my Samsung smartphone to the point where it wouldn't turn on, and honestly, I thought that it was as good as dead. One of my friends recommended me to see this guy at the mall to fix it. At first, I did my research, trying to see how much it would cost to get a new phone. It's insane how expensive cellphones are. We just don't realize it because of these shiny new phone plans that give us this deal that's too good to be true. It really is. A new cellphone would have cost me $600+. I found that buying a kit to attempt fixing my own phone would cost me around $135 for the digitizer and screen. He charged me around $200, so taking off the cost of the parts, around $100 in repair fees. Not too bad considering how broke I would be if I were to buy a new cellphone of the same caliber. I was pretty desperate and I've never had this happen to my smartphone before. The guy was really nice and he even told me he'd get my phone fixed in a couple hours! For some reason, I thought that getting my phone fixed would take DAYS. Apparently not. It took him a little over the time he claimed but I wasn't complaining. It's been about a month now and my phone is still working great. He also gave me contact info after my purchase and said I could give him a call if anything went wrong. He had me check the phone before taking it home to make sure it was working properly. I keep my phone in a fully enclosed protective case and have had no issues of my screen cracking again. The touch screen works as good as new and I'm very happy that I didn't get sucked into buying a new cellphone. In the end, I'd recommend this guy. He seems to make his own prices as he goes. My friend had cracked her iphone screen and told me she paid around $50 to get it fixed (this was a year or two ago). So why would my repair cost $200? Well, lets look at the research. A replacement screen on ebay costs as little as $5. My phone had a digitizer that was pretty much destroyed. That cost $135 on amazon. I guess that when the digitizer is destroyed, it's a bit more complicated to fix? Who knows? But at least I didn't end up paying $600+. If you ever go to get your phone repaired, it's your job to do your research and figure out how much you're willing to pay for the repairs/parts and what different sellers are willing to offer, including the security of their warranty. I decided to take a chance with this guy and his warranty and it worked out okay for me. I was lucky because my phone didn't have any issues after the repair. So I honestly can't speak much for the warranty that so many others are complaining about. read more

Awesome place! Bubble after placing glass on and replaced it fast and no questions asked! Professional and great folks!

Place is absolute shit. Came in with two working phones with what I thought easy repairs such as replacing battery and fixing a cracked screen. Both phones worked just fine left with one phone that no longer turns on and the other the touch screen no longer works . Then they basically proceeded to talk shit about customers Who are upset with them because they can't fix everything when they bring in broke phones. It felt like they were Talking about me but there the assholes who ruined my phones. The problems they created I didn't even have in the first place. Nothing was done to fix the situation either read more

If I had zero stars I would give it. Do NOT leave your devices with this guy. He is dishonest, and will make you false promises then rob you blind. For what he charges and as long as he keeps your device, you'd be better off to just buy a new phone outright. read more

If it was possible to give negative amount of stars I absolutely would. I took in an iPod to be fixed from a shattered screen. I paid for it and had a friend pick it up. When she got it, the screen was falling off. I took it back there (same day) and they refused to fix it or refund the money. What a horrible experience. The manager tony called mall security on me. I had to leave and lose out on the money I paid and at least before my iPod was working and now the screen is completely falling off. DO NOT waste your time or money read more

Initial repair was fast and fine. 2 1/2 weeks later, removing bumper from phone (with minimal pressure) glass cracked around speaker. Fastn'fix stated was damage related, it was not, and would not repair. I talked to apple, 3rd party vendors like this are not using right glass, apples repair was only 20$ more and guaranteed from something like this happening. This is a dishonest company using cheap parts, no integrity. The guy at Flatirons also owns park meadows kiosk. Don't use them. read more

I know theres a lot of upset people on here, and I cant speak towards their experience, only mind. I walked in 30mins before the mall was supposed to close and met Chance there at the kiosk. Chance was truly AMAZING. Not only in his willingness to serve and utilize all of his knowledge and tools, but also in his customer service. He was a genuinely just a flat out nice guy! I'd have no problem sending people to see Chance there. Very happy with it all. read more

This place is awful. My iPhone screen replacement was supposed to take 45 minutes but after three hours it still was not complete, and the repairman said it was because I was "rushing him". But each time I checked in, he was chatting with fellow kiosk folk and not working on the phone. When I finally got the phone back, I asked why the new screen displayed a dull, cloudy image. I was told "my manufacturer sends me what he sends me - I never know what the quality will be". I requested he try a new screen so I could retain the Apple-quality clarity and color of the original screen, and he said I should have gone to the Apple Store. Truer words were never spoken. The customer in line behind me told me they had screwed up her iPad three times, and she was there to get her $$ returned. FYI: this place charges $100 for a new screen, Apple charges only $29 more which is worth it for the quality replacement materials and kinder customer service. read more

This was the fastest, most affordable service in the area! My phone unexpectedly shattered in the middle of my work day and not being on calls meant falling way behind on my business. Within one minute of entering the mall, I had someone working on fixing the screen, and for WAY less than even the deductible on my insurance, my phone had a new screen that worked as if it had never been broken. I would recommend Talk N' Fix to anyone needing to get back on the phone after the screen has been broken. read more

Great guys, had my iPhone 6 home button troubleshooted and replaced for a fair price. these guys know what they are doing.

Horrible all around. They told us they had the part to fix our phone and it would be done in 20 minutes. We went and looked around for about 45 minutes then came back to pick up the phone and get going. First, we couldn't find anyone to help us. Then we found someone and were informed that the guy fixing our phone had left because they didn't have the part. He didn't even make sure we were okay with him leaving the mall with out phone (we weren't). They told us he would be back in 45 minutes so again we walked around and came back to find him still not back. It took 7 hours for us to get our phone back. We were supposed to be leaving for our honeymoon and had to delay that, on top of having a hungry and tired 1 year old. We finally got our phone back and they refused to do any refund or compensation. Now, the screen doesn't work in some parts and we are going to have to pay to get that fixed somewhere else and they still won't offer a refund. This place is seriously the worst. read more

I've been to many repair shops in the past years but never have I been to a kiosk that gave me wonderful customer service and also guided me to where I could understand what the problem is with my phone. When I first knew about TAlkNfix at Flatirons mall. I was a little concern because of my previous bad experience at other places but once I went it came out to be a successful visit and I can honestly recommend anyone who has any type of cellphone or other devices such as computer to bring it in to TAlkNfix. You will not be disappointed at all, very fast and phone is brand new as if nothing was wrong with it. read more

I paid $108 for a broken screen. Under 6 months and my screen stopped working. When I purchased the screen, they promised me a solid warranty with the screen. My screen stopped working, and started randomly pushing buttons and navigating through my apps. I went in today to get my screen fixed, but unfortunately I didn't have the receipt. I was able to find the transaction in my bank records, as I paid with my card. I presented my bank statement to the manager as a replacement for my receipt, but they denied that the $108 charge was for the screen. The idiot manager demanded that the bank statement said the name of the company in the description. My bank statement only says FLATIRON CROSSING, but not the specific company name. They denied my warranty, and wont fix the broken screen they sold to me. The manager claims he doesnt have the ability to look up my sale. DO NOT USE THIS SHADY KIOSK FOR ANY PHONE REPAIRS, THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY SHADY. STAY AWAY, AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO STAY AWAY. read more

My screen cracked, I took it to the Genius Bar, the yahoo at the Genius Bar said go ahead and take it to this place because my phone was 2.5 years old and "out of warranty anyway". I took it and they said no problem it would take 30 min. ONE HOUR LATER I get an iPhone paperweight. I was so sad and disappointed. I thankfully didn't give up on my phone. I took it to Best Buy, and the geek squad guy was just flabbergasted that the Apple guy would tell me to take it to the kiosk outside. He opened it up and showed me some of the MANY issues that this place caused. First they lost/didn't replace about 1/2 the screws, They didn't even glue the screen down properly, and the main reason why my phone no longer worked? They tore the cable on the digitizer! Thankfully for $170 (only $70 more than this place), I got a Working Phone. Yes geek squad took two hours, but I have a working phone that has been set to almost new. Admittedly this place was busy the day I took it in, so maybe if you take it when they are slow they'll have more time to work on your phone. Good luck! read more

Buyer beware. You will wish you had paid the extra $40 to have your phone fixed at the Apple Store. The manager there didn't even use the correct screen for my iPhone X and tried to glue on a non conforming screen. By the time I got home, my new screen was already coming unglued and eventually it completely detached from the rest of my phone. They don't stand by their warranty. Money wasted. Guy who fixes the phones is rude. Always has AirPods in and doesn't acknowledge anything you are saying. Barely even looks up at you and makes eye contact. Wouldn't have an issue with any of that if he hadn't botched my screen and then refused to fix it. I wish I had paid the extra money and taken my phone to the Apple Store. The replacement screen this place uses (if you are lucky enough to get the correct screen to fit your phone) is low quality, very fragile. Rotten experience all around. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

This place is an absolute ripoff. I have never seen a more scummy business. Ahmed, the employee working the counter tried to sell me an item for $20.00. These things cost MAYBE $0.50 and are absolute trashy products, as are the rest of the overpriced phone cases and accessories he sells. He also seems to just make up prices on the fly because there are no prices listed anywhere and he tries to take advantage of consumers. STAY AWAY and purchase your phone accessories online or elsewhere. They also offer no refunds or returns, an indication of a sketchy business who doesn't stand behind their product read more

Replaced iPad screen developed issues with the digitizer. Talk to the guy who replaced it and was told to send email to the boss who'll set up the dates for the replacement. Sent email, no answer. Sent again, got an answer, but no resolution for two weeks. Sent again, no answer. Sent again, no answer. Sent again, finally was told to wait a couple days (why?), which was last week. LIES, LIES, LIARS. So the lesson I've learned: Do NOT expect any kind of support from these people. Finally decided to go through the credit card company to dispute the charge. Should've checked this site before I've done this. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They speak about there product being high quality but my screen cracked within 37 days. I trusted the sales person who is also the owner and he sold me on the fact they have awesome, high quality products and a 30 day warranty policy. I came in 7 days after the 30 day warranty point because my screen cracked while in my purse. I did not drop it and I didn't notice until I pulled it out of my bag. I've had an iPhone for 5 years and this was my first cracked screen and to be honest I drop my phone as often as most. And only once did my original iPhone screen crack. Then I replace it using Talk n Fix and my screen cracks in a month. I came in hoping he would still honor the 30 day warranty but the customer service was horrible. It was apparently my fault my screen cracked and there was nothing he could do except charge me another $115 when I've paid $160 already. The manager was rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend using this company. Which is a bummer because I raved about it to my friends but clearly they don't provide the quality product that they claim to. I'm extremely disappointed and wish I had just gone with Apple repair. read more

HORRIBLE!!! Not only did I pay $200 for an iPhone 6 screen that didn't fit into my phone, but it also shattered when I was pressing on it with my thumb to keep the screen in the phone. They won't exchange or help me at all!!! They will NEVER get another penny from me! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE! I would give them negative stars if I could. I cracked the screen on my phone and took my iphone to this company for a screen/display replacement. When I called them, I was told it was replaced the same way Apple replaces their screens with screws and with a kit made for the specific phone. I paid $120.00 for the screen to be replaced. After about 1 month my screen became loose. I took it back to this location and "Tony" looked at the phone and said it wasn't loose, and to bring it back if it got loose again. Well of course it only become more loose and now the screen is coming off of the phone and hanging on my just the wires at the top of the phone. It is apparent that this company just glued a plastic screen on my phone. So they did not repair it the way I was told it would be. I was lied to. I paid $120 for a plastic screen to be glued on to my $550 phone. I took it back to this location and showed Tony it was not attached anymore. He said he could replace the screen again for another $60.00. I was shocked at this! He actually wanted me to pay more money for something that was done incorrectly to begin with. I then took my phone to Apple. They told me my phone was not fixed correctly and that they have never seen a phone repaired like this. They said TalkN'fix glued a plastic screen on the phone and did not replace everything the way that Apple does. Also Apple said they can't work on the phone now because this 3rd party TalkN'fix worked on it and that voids that iphone warranty. They said that I was getting the run around from TalkN'fix. Apple said I can buy a new phone for $550.00 and that is my only option. I will be taking this company to small claims court. Beware you have been warned! Do not trust this company and do not take your expensive phones there! read more

Had the same exact experience as Alec M. First off, I now understand why they only do a 30 day warranty, because their repairs are crap! I was 30 days out of warranty, and took it back to Tony to see if he would still warranty his work or at least reduce the price since this was due to their workmanship. Tony told me it would be another $200. No thanks! Can buy a new phone at $400 later. I wish I had read the reviews before going. Tony told me on the phone that he builds his business based on referrals/reputation, but all I see is that his business is based on overinflated prices and shoddy workmanship. read more

I had purchased a brand new iPhone 8+ from Sprint when 2 weeks later my daughter used her baby hulk strength and threw it at the wall causing the screen to crack. On Friday March 9th, I went to Talk N Fix for a screen replacement, the sales rep told me it was $150 and that it'd be an hour wait. I returned to a flimsy screen protector and a broken speaker. The tech and I agreed that I'd return the following week so he didn't lose any customers during the weekend. Tuesday March 13th, I dropped my phone off at 10:25 AM, after the manager was late, and was told it was an hour wait. I returned at 1:30 PM, the tech informed me that the manager had barely left to get my new speaker. I was annoyed but left and returned at 5:30 PM, surprise, surprise, my phone was still in pieces and not working. The tech tells me to reset my phone and that it should work. I reset it 3 times and nothing. I call March 20th and ask the manager for a refund, he says that my speaker didn't work because they didn't have one compatible for the new iPhone 8+ at the time but that they do now. I agree to give them one more chance as long as the other tech doesn't work on my phone. The manager says he will work on it personally, so I go in March 22nd, the manager is busy but it doesn't matter because they barely put in the speaker order. March 24th I email Street Talk, their corporate office, and am told by Hassan from their NJ, that they just ordered the speaker again. I laugh and said I just want my money back because no one knows what's going on there and I just want to go through my provider instead of getting these after market products and hassle. Hassan agrees and says to text him before I go in so the location doesn't give me a hassle. March 27th, I text Hassan I'm going in, he says okay. Manager tells me he has to swap out the new screen for my old broken one, I say Hassan didn't inform me of this but okay because I'm getting a new one anyways. He tells me it'll be an hour wait, I explain that I'm a returning customer that they messed up with, I should be taken care of immediately. Especially since I texted ahead of time. He belittles me, argues with me, tells me to stand in a corner, and that he doesn't want to look at my face. I text Hassan and we reschedule. March 30th, I go in and the manager says he and Hassan agreed to give me my refund and not do the screen swap. I give him my info and leave. March 31st, April 3rd, April 4th, April 5th, April 6th, and April 7th I text Hassan for updates on my refund without any reply except once when he sent me a screenshot of someone else's refund. I emailed their corporate office again and I hope to receive my refund so I can get a new phone, but so far I seem to be stuck. I saw multiple people have the same issue out of the 7 times I went to this place. Learn from our mistake! read more
