i came in on 6/7 for a screen repair on my iphone 14 pro max, stating that they could fix it and that i would have it on the same day. i came back before work to a screen that was green with black, distorted lines running along horizontally. they said it would be more time to put back on the old screen since they "should've never taken this repair." i was at work when my grandma brought me the phone and the screen just didn't work, and now no other company wants to even touch this thing. my grandma came and got the phone, to which there is a white line going down the screen and the phone screen will just go full black, but the buttons still work (siri, power down buttons, screenshot). so they said that they made a mistake and that i need to take it to apple to have it fixed, which is insane. i am now at best buy and they stated that they don't want to open the phone because of the damage done by the previous company, since if they were to be held liable, they would have to cover the cost of practically a brand new phone. they gave me a card and mainly said that batteries plus should make this right or they would be able to help me in some fashion. i am now back at apple waiting for a representative to help me and let me know if there are any more solutions. this won't go unfinished, you will fix this. read more

Kudos to Cass as the representative of the Batteries Plus store in Lafayette. I had two batteries from my Ford Diesel that I was unable to charge at home. Cass and I spoke on the phone and I provided my situation Cass met me upon my arrival on Sunday and ftest both battries and found to be in failure. It was stated the batteries would be replaced under my warranty. There was only one was available at the Layfette store. Cass said one had been located in Longmont and would be brought to the Lafayette store on Monday. I received a call on Monday morning as Cass said both were fully charged and available for pickup. Cass loaded the new batteries in the back of my car and I headed home. I cannot say enough about the positive customer experience with Cass in the Lafayette store. They will be my choice for future Batteries Plus supplies. read more

Bought 2 two-packs of hard-to-find under-cabinet bulbs for $27. The ones they sold me were supposed to fit, but even though theirs are labeled with the correct specs, they didn't fit -- too long to fit in the circular fixture. Took them back, but they wouldn't refund the package I'd opened, even though they were supposed to fit. Found correctly-sized bulbs later, at Home Depot, at two-thirds the cost charged at this Lafayette, Colorado B+B; I would have saved $9 on the 2 two-packs, had I known HD had them. This B+B store did have an even harder-to-find battery for my old bike odometer, however. Lessons learned: 1) B+B MAY have the items you need, but don't open packages until you've checked for the correct contents. 2) B+B is EXPENSIVE, so use them as a last resort, when you can't wait for online orders, or don't want to hunt around, and are willing to pay a lot more. 3) B+B is NOT a 'satisfaction guaranteed' business, so better check out their products to make sure they're really the right ones before opening them. read more

I've always wondered what was in this store and finally got to find out! I needed to replace two iPhone batteries and a screen and this place is where Google took me. Boy am I glad it did! The manager here is the poster child for customer service. To say I had great experience is an understatement. Do NOT let them change your IPhone screen! Ours broke THE SAME DAY THEY FIXED IT. Took it back and they won't fix it. The website says 6 month guarantee on screen repair. I am waiting for corporate to respond. This is a franchise. So beware. They don't belong in business. I could give -5 stars I would. Was apprehensive trusting my phone to anyone planning to rip into it to replace the battery. Man, was I satisfied. Super quick and efficient. Better price than any of the other vendors in this area. (Get a $10 of coupon if you schedule online). Watching interactions with other customers I was really impressed with the attitude, competence and knowledge of the young woman who helped me. I will definitely go back when I need repairs or batteries/gadgets. read more

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get anything on your iPhone fixed here. Better to either replace your phone through insurance or spend the money at the Apple store where they are experts in iPhone repair. My usb from my iphone 7+ charger snapped off inside my iPhone and I took it there to get the charger port replaced. They said it was no problem and I paid $89.99 for the repair. When I got my phone back, the charger was fixed but my phone now had three new problems, 1. The camera was broken 2. The flashlight did not work, and 3. The speaker was broken and no one could here me when I was on phone calls. It goes without saying, none of these problems existed prior to me bringing it in there, in fact I signed a document when I first dropped it off saying everything worked after they meticulously ran through the phones systems with me to double check nothing was also broken prior to starting the repair. After the repairs they did not go through the phone with me again to make sure everything was the same as before. When I discovered the problems, I was very mad, and called them immediately. They of course said they would need to fix the phone again and so I waited an entire week more until the "new parts" could come in. After being brought in the second time for repair #2, not only were they "unable to repair the phone's problems" that THEY created, but they also created MORE problems the second time around. Now all the issues are still there plus more. Apparently they replaced the screen during the second repair (I don't know why because my screen was not cracked), and now my phone screen freezes for anywhere between minutes and hours. Also, the phone keeps restarting itself randomly, especially if I'm using the phone like checking Facebook, Instagram or getting a call. The phone will just shut off. They tried to explain away these problems by saying "it's a really complicated motherboard and easy to mess up".... okay they WHY AM I PAYING YOU TO FIX MY PHONE THAT YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX? A total sham if you ask me. The only redeeming thing is that now they have bought me an entirely new phone (as they should). I now have to wait another week to get that new phone in. When I went in to the store to get my messed up phone back (after repair #2) the manager very unprofessionally wouldn't stop talking about how expensive the new phone was ($680 out of pocket for a 7+ 120 GB) and asking me questions about why I have a phone with so much storage, "do you put music on there?" "do you put pictures on there?" basically making me feel guilty for their mistake. Don't touch these guys with a ten foot pole. Spend the money on a repair at the apple store. It's not worth the trouble. read more

I tried twice to get the correct replacement for some bulbs at this store. I even provided the dead bulb for them to match. I was given bulbs that were not exactly like the one I had but they said it was the one even though the contacts were shorter.The first ones did not fit and the second ones blew out immediately when I replaced them. I asked for a refund and it was not honored because "they couldn't resell the bulbs. " I was out $15. Very sad that that Batteries Plus Bulbs would not take responsibility for incorrectly servicing me. I went to a real lighting store and they provided me with the correct bulbs that work!! This is my first negative review ever on a store. I will not be back to it and I do not recommend it. read more
