    Dessert charcuterie The Sweet Life

Went to to this gem tonight with a few girlfriends, and so glad we did! The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was sweet, and the food/drinks were excellent! Before ordering I inquired about the gluten free options (I have celiac disease) and the owner, Talisa, came over and went over everything with me. She told me they have GF crackers, bread and flatbreads. We ended up ordering 3 of the flatbreads and 2 of the charcuterie boards to share. They offer wine and cocktail flights too! Everything tasted great!! Even the non-gf people enjoyed all the food!! Our server, Chantel, was great and attentive. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something different!!

Highly recommend this wine bar ! Went for the first time last night definitely good vibes , cozy atmosphere. Offers a variety of different wines . We had Centorri " Moscato ' delicious . The staff were incredible sweet . Can't wait to go back and try some other new wines .

Vera Wang Prosecco is the best!

Service is stellar!!! The wine selection is fabulous - all from women, veteran, or minority- owned vineyards. We come here often and Talisa is always here with a welcoming smile. The perfect place for a night out

The weather was nice, so we chose to sit out back under the lovely umbrellas and look over the water. They also have adirondack chairs set out, so I imagine it would be a lovely spot for a cocktail and a chat with friends! Our server, Lena, was a DREAM and helped us make our choices. I got a seasonal latte while my partner got the medium-roast pourover coffee. Having had a hard time finding really great coffee recently, we were soooo impressed. They clearly take their coffee program seriously (and now I realize the name should have tipped me off!). The food was equally impressive. It legitimately didn't have to be as good as it was (lol). The yogurt bowl on any menu is usually "meh," but we gave it a try since we wanted some non-meat protein and I am SO glad we did. It was the best yogurt bowl I've ever had- no contest. The whole milk yogurt was creamy; the strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries were ripe; the honey and granola added crunch and some floral sweetness; and the best part was the raspberry preserves they pipe on top. I wish I could recreate this at home! We also loved the lemon poppyseed loaf with blueberry preserves and cream. Another quick brunch addition that could have been simple, but had so much thought put into the flavors. Overall, a big fan and I'll be back!

Coming from a big city like Las Vegas, this little wine store is what you hope to find when you come to New England. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of flashy stores and wine bars with enomatic wine systems and tasting credit cards, but it's nice to walk into a shop that looks like someone's HOUSE from the outside. Space is a little cramped but the shelves are filled with gems priced under $20. Yes, there's certainly pricier bottles but I wasn't in the market for that this day. The interior is invitingly merchandised and you'll find a fair selection of cheeses for a small place like this. Instead of the expected one bottle I walked in to purchase, I bought four. I had a chance to meet the proprietors and they were gracious and helpful and so was their staff. They have wine tasting classes and free wine tastings on Fridays from 5:30 to 7:30. What a great way to end a busy work week!

Not surprisingly, the wine bottles were on the more expensive side but were good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They told us to wonder about the estate and sit wherever we like and they would find us with the wine and glasses and that's exactly what they did. The staff also opened up one of the large window doors so we can have the perfect hybrid of inside and outside. We tried a couple of their flatbreads and they were tasty and paired well with the wine. This establishment has hotel rooms upstairs and is often used for events, including weddings. Overall, it's a beautiful vineyard that you can lounge in for many hours. Staff said it gets very busy on the weekends but on a Monday there was so much room and serenity.

Yesterday I was lunching with a few friends and shepherds run came up and we decided to check it out. The setting was spectacular, the manor was surrounded by beautiful gardens. I felt I was in the cotswolds. There was a wedding currently happening so walking in we weren't sure if it was closed for the event. A very sweet staff member directed us to the bar. There we were given menus and told me could sit anywhere. We found a lovely room that looks as though it was once the receiving room. We enjoyed several glasses of rose ( delicious) and chatted with other guests. The staff were all very nice and we all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon. We will be coming back September 13 with husbands and look forward to it. Bravo!!

My friend knows much more about wine than I do, so he was the decision maker for our wine choices and we ordered a 1/2 bottle of red which we both found to be very delicious. Of course, we had to try some food too and the small bites menu was perfect with something to satisfy nearly every taste. We opted for the meat charcuterie, and it was beautifully presented with enough for the two of us to share. There is also a cheese charcuterie on the menu, but unfortunately there is not an option for a combined meat and cheese plate. We sat, sipped, and tasted for a while and never felt rushed. The atmosphere was so comfortable and we'll definitely consider going back here again.

I didn't have the best time at Providence Wine Bar…read more This might sound a little haughty, but hear me out: I can drink wine at home. I can browse a liquor store & pick out a bottle that exactly fits my preferences, my mood, & my budget. I can bring it home & uncork the wine, checking the cork for freshness. I can pull out my special glassware & pour myself a glass of wine & enjoy it on my own couch. So why go out to a wine bar, if not for the wine? For me, it's for the ambience & the experience. Both of those things at Providence Wine Bar were lacking. The lights were too bright (overhead & fluorescent) & the music was too loud (& just bad). The employees seemed both bored & nervous, with not much to do to occupy themselves. I was one of the only people in the bar, so I felt like I was under scrutiny - I'm certain this wasn't intentional but it was unfortunately how it came across. I brought a book but couldn't focus because of the lights & the music. I even caught myself with my fingers in my ears, trying to muffle the sounds of 2010s hyper pop. I have nothing against 2010s hyperpop, it's just that there's a time & place for everything, & maybe that isn't at a wine bar at 8 PM on a Wednesday. I just wanted to be done with my glass of wine so that I could leave. All of that being said, I wish them the best. It seems like they need a good manager's touch.

I lingered with a glass, reading my book while soulful music softly played, quiet conversations among the few other patrons drifted in and out of my consciousness, and the plaintive cries of seagulls outside were occasionally audible. Whimsical posters dressed up the plain but cozy room (a rabbit in a pink bathrobe holding a bottle of champagne and divers leaping into a wine glass). I could have spent all afternoon there, reading and sipping. But I had places to be. If I stayed longer I might have tried some of the food. It's more in the line of light snacks than an actual meal, mostly cold, but they were more interesting than the standard charcuterie plate offered by similar venues, and I liked that they listed the country or state of origin of everything. For dessert, how about a slice of cheesecake from Chill's of Warren, RI - or a flight of 3 for $21! Beer lovers, don't fear Coastal Bubbles. Their high-tech "Coravin System" keeps the open bottles fresh, and my Croation Matsuško was flawless in that respect. Unfortunately, this most recent visit didn't live up to the high standards I've come to expect. While a few dishes hit the mark, the majority of our order was a letdown: Tinned Octopus: Surprisingly chewy and lacked seasoning. Mushroom Toast: The texture was rubbery, and the flavor was completely drowned out by an aggressive amount of balsamic. Beets: Had a very overwhelming cumin flavor that threw the dish out of balance. Roast Beef Slider: Served cold and felt a bit uninspired. It's such a cute, intimate space, and I've had so many wonderful nights here in the past, but the execution was just off this time around. I'm hoping it was just an off night, but it was definitely disappointing given how much I usually love this place!

Our server was super friendly and attentive, and she even offered a few samples so we could try before committing to a full glass, which we really appreciated. Overall, the experience was fantastic -- great wine, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
