There was a kid at the bar celebrating his 21st birthday with a cement mixer shot--the bartender told us what it was and it's nothing to celebrate! Our waiter was a hoot--super friendly and gave me scoop on motorcycle gang history in the area. Who knew? We all ordered off the specials menu. The only disappointment was the meatball sandwich--essentially one meatball sliced and buried in sauce on a large bready roll. Other than that, the Korean BBQ stir fry was filling and delish. Another friend had garlic wings. I'd go back for a few other entrees I want to try, but for love of Nonna, a meatball sub should contain a minimum of THREE whole meatballs!

Our bartender Tommy was the man and gave great suggestions and tips on beverages to order. He even took our picture which was so nice. It will be one of many trips to the gull this summer.

Bummer- they do not take reservations for parties of 4 or smaller. We did get in early enough. no issues getting seated. Out waitress, Sophie, was bubbly and friendly. I was super disappointed to see the menu changed greatly since the last time I visited. No more "Baby Got Mac' or fun names of the food items. Dulled down menu. Let me tell you, That baby got mas was DELICIOUS!!! And I am super sad this specialty meal that I have found nowhere else is no longer a thing. I spoke to the waitress and we worked out making a replica with an order of mac and cheese. But it was delivered as a cheeseburger. She apologized and then the meal came out as mac and cheese but they forget the onion strings. I can share- this was massively lacking the flavor that the old Baby Got Mac had. I mean night and day! This makes me sad. Another issue, the waitress asked if I wanted a box and I said yes. She disappeared with my food. She threw it out! When I adressed it with her she apologized, made a comment about going in the bathroom to cry but she did take it off the bill. Overall- Mac and Walt's us to be a top tier place to eat in my opinion but affter last night, I think the place has definitely changed and not as good as it used to be. Sad day.
