Multiple hairs in bagel & aggressive customer service where they leave a voicemail on your PERSONAL phone to scream at you (video attached). They must be one of those businesses that ask for good reviews in exchange for free food bc these reviews on Google & TT don't line up. Owner was upset that I left an honest review after he gave me a refund for 1 bagel-he really thought he could hide a public health issue with a refund? Customer service IS NOT quid per quo. A friend and I came here Sat 12/20 around 10AM. After scrapping heaps of salt off and eating 1/2 of my $7.25 (!!) salt bagel w/ basic sun-dried tomato cream cheese, I noticed MULTIPLE hairs on the last half. You can see in the pics that they're scattered on top/in the bagel & charred into it I called them and he probably said 10 times "don't leave a review!" & I didn't at first bc I thought we would resolve everything. As a child of an immigrant with a small business, I truly don't like to leave bad reviews for fellow ethnic small businesses. I go to the store later and he rips the receipt and bagel (brought for physical proof) from my hand and yelled that I "ate the whole thing". Sir, I didn't see the hairs until I saw the other half...WHO in their right mind would eat 1/2 a bagel while KNOWING there are burnt hairs on there? I wanted to vomit after I saw the other half. He didn't even have the decency to refund both bagels we got (my friend literally threw hers away after seeing the hairs in mine)...and on top of that, he kept yelling and waving his finger at me to "not leave a review!" Before I left. Mistakes happen but they need to be dealt with responsibly...and without harassing customers on their voicemail

My new go to bagel place! The staff is so friendly! And the bagel is fluffy and perfect.

I love this business. They're amazing people and if you're in Fishtown or nearby this is the place to get fresh homemade Mediterranean food. It is truly the real deal and their bagels are amazing!!

Nice breakfast spot nestled amongst residential buildings. Loved the rice pudding and the owner allowed us to taste first before buying, she even said "if you don't like it, it's free." Obviously, we loved it. The bagels are authentic NY bagels with the owner from NY, having been a well known chef previously in NYC. It's a to go only spot, unfortunately, no eating in. Great mom & pop shop and we highly recommend!

I was craving a bagel one morning when staying in Fishtown and after looking up a few places I decided to check out Talia's Grille. I'm so happy I did. The people who worked there were so sweet and the food was great. The bagels had a great texture and the cream cheese to bagel ratio was perfect (there's nothing worse than getting a bagel with a bad bagel:cream cheese ratio. We've all been there. You know what I mean.) I also grabbed an iced coffee (and, random, an order of tabouli) which I enjoyed as well. Go here! One thing to note (and I'm not sure if it's always like this, but just in case) - when you walk in, there are chairs set up a few feet from the door, blocking you from getting closer to the register. That's intentional and you should order from behind the chairs. They will take your order from across the room and walk up to you to give you your food and/or to take your payment.

This place still has great bagel sandwiches. Loved their sesame bagel, and I asked for added hot sauce to my turkey sausage egg and cheese which was definitely a good move. The everything bagel wasn't overly covered in seeds and spices, which I prefer. With all the expensive bagel shops popping up, a $6 or $7 option here is a much needed service for those who want a good breakfast sandwich. Twas a light bagel with a good toasting on it. I'll be back soon!

Assortment of bagels, strawberry cream cheese, and rice pudding. The pudding was good but the cream cheese was a bit sweet for my taste.

And I will say it was a little better than I remember last time. I got the works with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and provolone. On this one the beef was a little better than last time. The roll is a little too soft for my tastes. It doesn't hold up as well as others. But it was solid. It's still not in my top 10 in the city. But it will go on my more recommended list.

Campos has been around since 1947 and i can't help but wonder how much cheesesteaks went for way…read moreback when but i'll tell you in 2026 if you're looking to eat here for a fair price look elsewhere. Campos is a small strip fast food dine in that appears to be well kept in and out. unfamiliar with the social popular attraction this restaurant gets.. but i chose to eat here as it was closest to us after visiting the adventure aquarium (great aquarium i recommend it) so that we could try authentic philly cheesesteak but sadly i was slightly disappointed and here s why: before i give my opinion i'd like to state i got a the italian cheesesteak rather get a simple cheesesteak and that's my mistake there but after noticing no prices were marked on the menus i already felt off about it. in total my gf and i each got 1 sandwich and a fountain drink bringing the total up to 49 dollars.. i didn't have time to react but seeing the prices set my expectations high. i was expecting to be blown away by being served the messiest cheesesteak i'd ever eaten so gooey and greasy it'd take years off my life but when we unrolled our sandwiches i was immediately let down. sandwiches didnt look appetizing and the italian cheesesteak tasted like i was eating one large cooked broccoli. there were peppers in my sandwich that had a whole lot of heat which i enjoy in a good sandwich but the heat came with no flavor and was too intense for me to taste and enjoy even the overwhelming broccoli flavor from the sandwich. i will say the sharp provolone was delicious when i could taste it but sadly that's all i take from my sandwich. my gf got the cheesesteak hoagie and says the flavor was good and enjoyed her sandwich but feels the price is ridiculous for the quality and i sadly have to agree. if i'm going to spend more than i would at applebees.. yes.. applebees.. for food that wasn't as good as applebees then i expect to be blown away. staff was average they weren't rude no complaints there. the store is air conditioned and well kept considering the very limited seating due to high traffic with pictures and painting on the walls with some historic look-backs to its earlier years. Overall i won't base my entire opinion on philly cheesesteaks from this review. i've heard from locals and family that you want to find the food trucks that serve cheesesteak as they have what i'm looking for. will i come back here? no. -update: the owner posted a comment to my review saying i should get out more then began to compare prices to other places that might just have better food i've never received this type of feedback but this is also my lowest rating so far so i'm i guess i'm not too surprised.

I had heard alot about their chicken caesar wrap, and as a chicken caesar enthusiast, I had to give it a shot. This was absolutely incredible. Dare I say the best wrap I've had in Philly. Everything was perfectly fresh, the dressing was delicious, and the wrap was perfectly grilled. I went for the truffle fries on the side, they were great as well. Perfectly fried and seasoned. Unfortunately my snickerdoodle latte wasn't the greatest. The flavoring was lovely and was just sweet enough, but the espresso was a bit burnt. It's possible the bagels weren't fresh when we visited (Tuesday morning). I ordered a cereal latte and a mango smoothie. The coffee was fine but not something I'd order again, while the smoothie was really good and something I would recommend. While dining in, the overall presentation felt more like a cafeteria experience than a sit-down café. We were given plastic to-go utensil sets, plastic cups, plastic straws, and our food was served on a baking sheet. The overwhelming use of plastic felt underwhelming for dining in and didn't align with the price point, especially when the average coffee + bagel total exceeds $15. Service: The staff was friendly overall, but not very mindful of professional behavior while working. While the atmosphere is meant to be relaxed, one barista was sitting on the countertops and taking personal calls on speaker, which felt off-putting as a customer. Ambiance: It's a nice open space with great natural lighting and plenty of seating. Overall, it's a good place to work, hang out, and get caffeinated.
