The first time that I ate donuts/pastries from here, I thought that it was just okay. My parents bought a dozen pastries from here and my parents are bad donut pickers. They mostly bought conchas and plain donuts. The second time, I came with and selected better donuts and they are great especially for the evening special of a dozen for $6. The donuts are at least 50% bigger than Dunkin's or Krispy Kreme's products. Everything that I had was awesome, especially the cinnamon roll. However, if a Krispy Kreme fritter has 400 calories and these are 50% bigger, you are looking at 600 calories per pastry and you can easily put down 3 at a time! read more

I was so excited and happy to see that Talerico finally open a bakery of its own. This small bakery is very neat, clean and it has so many things. The coffee is very good. Not weak or bitter. It actually taste fresh just as everything else here. The sweets are amazing! They have Conchitas! And they are so much better than any mexican bakery I have had here in the US. I used to work a part time in this backery back in High School and that's how I know that their goods are the best. I hated to go to certain gas stations just to get their sweets after that. They should open a bakery in Oak Park so I can have their sweets all the time :-). Definitely recomend and will be coming back to stock up. read more

The prices are not over the top and the bakery is very clean. Everything in the bakery seems to be up to date. This was my first time in the bakery after passing it every day. It was early Saturday and the pastries were fresh. I am big on customer service and a welcoming feeling was not that at all. Any time I asked a question the cashier seemed to have a nasty response.
