They have international flavors and pairings you might not expect so try them. I'm glad I did. I inhaled the shrimp that had chili aioli and cukes on it and the pork belly was amazing with pickled watermelon! I'll be back even though I spent $25 for lunch lol. It was worth it!

Guys' days don't happen often, so when I got the chance to borrow one of my dad's Harleys and make the two-hour ride, I jumped at it. Willy Taco calls itself "chef-driven Mexican fusion," and honestly, they delivered. I ordered the Patagonia Steak tacos with marinated steak, charred tomatillos, chimichurri slaw, chipotle ranch and crispy onions. Definitely punching above the weight class I expected from a South Carolina taco joint bc everything was delicious The chips and salsa were great, service was great, and everything on the plate hit. Maybe I was just in a particularly good mood after spending the day riding with my dad and brother, but this one was an easy win. If you're in Greenville, Willy Taco is absolutely worth checking out.

The cheese sauce was good, everything else...not so much. I ordered the Patagonia steak corn taco. It was actually pretty good. My mom had the carne asada bowl which came with a fried cheese tortilla. Turns out it comes with flour tortilla, so she asked for corn. Up until the point of eating the corn tortilla, which came later during the meal, she rated the food a 2.5. After tasting the tortilla, which she ate in its entirety, she still says 2.5. Lots of grease and cheese. I guess if I had to give my taco a rating it is closer to a 5 and it's not a solid 5 because it was a messy eat . The experience was cool. The seating was dirty but the young lady quickly cleaned it. Our server Aidan was super pleasant and friendly.

Chips and salsa are not complimentary, but you do get these cute little wagon wheel looking chips called duros. They're like puffed air and remind me of pork rinds but not as crunchy and probably made from flour. The drinks are all delicious and strong. The margaritas are small but watch out, they'll sneak up on you! Lots of options. They specialize in tequila and mezcal with flights as an option. The bar is the spot to be; bartenders are friendly and they have small TVs to watch whatever sports are in season. The atmosphere is a little lacking in my opinion, but it's all about the food. Food is delicious and the portions are larger than expected. We got the chips and queso, Heidi's Flautas, soup of the day, and the Birria Egg Rolls. Too much food for 2 people so we took some home. Location is in a strip mall; parking is tight and can be a challenge. We won't let that stop us though! We will be back for those delicious Birria Egg Rolls and margaritas!
