Very nice little place, I'd go here more often if I was downtown more often (and who knows, maybe I will be depending on how my job goes). Fair prices and VERY friendly service, very nice. The place is clean too. The food is good, though my only complaint is that it's standard Greek fare you can get at any similar restaurant.

I stopped here this past Thursday to get lunch. (My coworker has gotten me a $10 gift certificate for Christmas that was burning a hole in my pocket.) I ordered the gyro melt. It was fantastic! It came with fries. I ordered a strawberry shake too. It was very thick and delicious. After the $10 gift certificate, I had to pay around $7.00. The food and drink were fantastic, as was the enthusiastic and helpful employee.

Solid food for a reasonable price. I ordered the Monday special which is the chicken finger melt - tasty and loaded with blue cheese, it could have used one additional chopped up chicken finger. Their fries are spectacular though. Also picked up the chicken souvlaki, the grilled chicken was tasty and I hate to say it but moist.

Takis! Takis has a little piece of my heart now baby Brekky! Brekky's one thing you can get here now baby Have it! Have an open chicken souvlaki now baby You know it's Taki's if it tastes really good! Damn I should seriously go into commercials because I am that good. No? OK never mind. What to get: Open Chicken Souvlaki So this is one of the best Souvlakis in town, with delicious salad too, it's nice and greasy, it's unbelievable. The most recent time I went in the service was actually awful, she was having a very bad day and had a lot of customers to deal with, so if that happens to you, don't say I didn't warn you. Thank you to my friends who told me to go here. Honestly some of your downtown dining destinations have underwhelmed me but you were right on the button (mine) with Fables in the library and you've gone and done it again here. Taki's has unbelievable, and unbelievably cheap lunch souvlaki, average size portion and omgggg it was really good! It wasn't like some of the other souvies around here that I love (Towne, Altons, Nick's on Amherst, Spilios), it was more well done and charry tasting but it was very marinaded and I absolutely loved it. The marinade makes the souvlaki because it carries all the taste and the juice, and this marinade was utter perfection. Having had it twice now, it may be my fave Sousou in town and definitely the best one near downtown. Top 3 easily in the region and in a town with this much Souey in it, and this much good Suva in it, that is a real achievement. I really love Slak, it's one of my fave foods and it's really healthy and fairly cheap too. My little kitten Starlight adores Ski too. She says that Soki is her fave type of human ish food to eat. So there you have it. I highly recommend everyone try Taki's. If you don't, I'll come up with even MORE weird nicknames for Sovk.

Came here for lunch and ordered the open chicken souvlaki. Warning: Don't come looking here if you like a tasty and FRESH chicken souvlaki. It's a shame, b/c the marinated chicken strips were some of the BEST and most flavorful I've ever had!!! But they serve it with what is *undoubtedly* bagged lettuce/salad. You know how pre-packaged salad mix has the vaguely chemical taste? Yup. You'll find that here... and the telltale carrot sticks/purple cabbage, iceberg mix. There was No romaine at all, which was sad b/c it's a standard at other great Greek local restaurants. It's disconcerting to eat a "salad" which is mostly WHITE in color! How is this even possible??? I find it very hard to believe that it's cheaper to buy pre-packaged salad mix versus just chopping up some heads of iceberg and romaine lettuce!!!! The only other highlight was the pita that came with it that was delicious, toasted nicely, and served warm. The greek dressing that was on the table was an absolute disappointment, also. Very very little seasoning in the jar and no "bite" or vinegar taste at all. It was seroiusly like pouring out mostly oil on your lettuce, as it had virtually no flavoring to it. Positively the WORST greek dressing I've had in Buffalo. (I have a hard time even calling it dressing since it was basically a container of oil with some seasoning flakes floating in it.) This would be zero or one star if not for the insanely good chicken. What a bummer, b/c the place is super cute and I enjoyed the setup with the elevated 2nd level looking out onto the rest of the restaurant.

    Gyro breakfast, eggs over easy.

(Also- the hours online and Yelp/Google Maps are different than what's posted on the door.) I decided to see if the door was open in case the sign just wasn't flipped to "open". It was UNLOCKED, and so was the second door! I was able to go INSIDE the cafe, even though it was clearly empty and no one was there...no food in the display case either. I even called out "hello??" a couple times to no response. Why were both doors unlocked if the cafe was clearly closed (even though according to the hours on the door it should be open...)

The first thing I appreciated was, the Owners and staff members. They are genuinely, a very happy group of people. They are super friendly and engaging. I also like the fact you can dine in or even do takeout. Today I decided on takeout.. the serving sizes are very decent, and the prices are more than fair. I strongly recommend checking them out. Breakfast sandwich- choice of bacon or sausage. Really nice satisfying sandwich. I really like the type of roll that was used. Plus the sandwich wasn't greasy or sloppy at all. Breakfast bowl- For me, I was able to share with my wife. The to-go container was pack. Every bite full had meat, cheese potatoes, and eggs. The ingredient ratio was spot on. You didn't have to much of this and not enough of that. Chicken and waffle- breast was moist and seasoned well for my liking. I loved the waffle flavor. Whatever waffle mix they are using. They need to keep using it and never change up.

Campfire Grill is our number 1 Favorite Breakfast place in Western New York…read more We arrived at about 11:00 AM Tuesday morning, and we're very pleased to be seated right away. We traveled a very far distance to enjoy Campfire Grill, and often the line for tables goes out the door. Today I ordered one of the specialty breakfasts, the Breakfast Flatbread which is two eggs, hollandaise, bacon, spinach, and Roma tomatoes over a crispy flatbread. I'm going to go out on a limb say this is now my most favorite breakfast. This dish comes with a choice of campfire potatoes or fresh fruit cup. Today I ordered the fresh fruit cup, and it was very delicious. Fresh grapes, pineapple, and melons. I would order this again. My husband ordered the cattle melt. This has to be seen to be believed. It's a mountain of a breakfast sandwich. Loaded high with sliced roast beef, two eggs, melted cheese, mushrooms, peppers and onions all stacked up on a grilled thick cut sourdough bread. It was so huge, that he had to bring half of it home in a box. He thoroughly enjoyed this melt sandwich. Finally, we also ordered the Griddle Toast Logs because, frankly this is the real reason we come to Campfire Grill. French toast slices rolled around a core of fresh, strawberries, and sweet and cream cheese, grilled crisp, and covered with more whipped cream and fresh berries. Truth be told, we could not even dive into them until we got home because we were so full with our entrées.. But they didn't last more than a few minutes after we returned home. The decor is reminiscent of our days of family camping trips, which always featured over the top breakfast, and very indulgent campfire menus. Posters on the walls included, moose, fish, bears. Really takes us back to our childhood vacations in the woods.

Service was quick & friendly. I appreciated being offered coffee refills before I needed ti ask. I ordered the fishermans favorite. It's an omelet loaded with crabmeat, shrimp, and spinach. It was delicious! The omelet was light and fluffy. There was plenty of filling, seafood in every bite. And the hollandaise sauce was flavorful. It included home fies and toast. Why does rye toast always taste better when eaten out? Plenty of leftover to take home for dinner. 2026- 16
