The weather channel was playing and there were 4 adults sitting in the room. One of the men in the room said he trust tire mart and he has been coming here 25 years. On 2/29/24 after inspection the new total was $980.00. She stated if I didn't do it they wouldn't pass my inspection. The price is now $450.00 more than what I was quoted. If you look at the photos the new cost is coming from labor, mind you it's 1115am and no one person has touched my brakes yet. I asked what time they would be done she said 230 pm to 3 pm. So I show back up to this shop at 245 pm only to be told they haven't even started my car at all. They stated they were behind and to come back by 530pm it would be ready. So now it's a rush job to get done before they close. I get a call about 455 pm saying my car is ready for pickup. So I asked how many hours for labor was I charge he said he gave me credit so roughly an hr and a half. As you can see in the photos the hours are showing 9 am to 11 am, nowhere showing the true times my car was worked on. On top of that I drive and hear a loud squeaking noise when I go to brake. So I call and let them know about the sound, she stated we're not doing brakes on the weekend. I asked to come back on my off day on Wednesday, she scheduled me for 8 am. I am here now 3/6/24 and she come and tells me they don't hear anything squeaking. So the man comes back after the second drive, she says he still doesn't hear anything but my transmission is messed. So now I'm like what in the heck is going on. She tells me to wait for it to cool down and the he can drive with me. I was like it's my off day now I'm about to be here all day again. I asked could I take it to another Midas she said no the 3 year warranty is with us. So I was over it, I go to leave she was like give it 2 or 3 weeks are if you still hear it come back. I'm like it doesn't matter if I hear it you guys don't so I'm the crazy person that hears squeaking. So I could only post this because I won't get any help there. Listen to my driving videos. My son dropped off his vehicle on March 27 because it had a slight delay and it concerned him. They told him they would be finish with it in a couple days. Later on, they told him they had to do a diagnostic and just that alone would cost $975. Had my son been communicating this with me, I would have been able to tell him right away that the place is full of crap and to go get his car. Him being young and not knowing, he went along with it. They then told him that it was over $4000 worth of damage. That is also crap because we purchased the vehicle from a reputable dealership that completed a full inspection on it prior to putting it on the sales floor. The vehicle could have needed some work, but no way possible it was $4,000 worth. They told him it would be another few days. Here we are, almost a month later and he still doesn't have his car back. They promise him his vehicle "tomorrow" and every day, they have another excuse and keep miraculously finding stuff wrong. After doing a so called $975 diagnostic in the beginning, how are you still discovering stuff? First, they found something new, then the repair guys mother died, then they were waiting for a part to come in. It's always something. We are preparing to take legal action against then, because they are holding our vehicle hostage at this point, and on top of that, he has already paid them over $3000 towards the repairs. If something doesn't give and we have adequate proof of the repairs that were done, we are suing them. It shouldn't have to come to this but here we are. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!!!
