Waited one hour for car in front to move forward. After one hour I asked girl working what the hold up was and she was nasty so I asked for the manager. Manager said Internet was out and had no idea how much longer. why didn't anyone tell me it will be a long wait? The manager never apologized or sorry for the inconvenience. I was the first car in line for my bay. I waited an hour and a half before they finished the car ahead of me and got me in the bay. Then I waited a half hour more in the bay and tweedle Dee and tweedle dumbass still hadn't gotten to me. There was one brain cell between the two of them as they tried to figure out how to close the hood of the car next to me. I asked if they had started on me they said no so I told them to let me go. Another oil change by take 5. The staff is always welcoming and ready to get to work on your vehicle.I pulled in one day and they were very busy and shorthanded. They gave me the option of staying or if I wanted to come back another day.I chose coming back another day when they weren't as busy.This was very nice because it gave me an option without me sitting there waiting and getting frustrated. Ben and his team were simply AWESOME. I pulled in and right out of the gate they brought over a cold bottle of water for me to enjoy while I sat in my car to get an oil change. Ben went over all my options, and they had many of them, and made suggestions. He was knowledgeable about my specific car make and model and gave sound advice. They changed the oil, topped off all my essential fluids, washed my windshield and even checked all of my tires for correct air pressure. All of this in less than 10 minutes. Why go to a dealership and pay more and wait for 2-3 hours for your car. I highly suggest this place. read more

The last place you will find me - getting an oil change for my car. But out shopping with my husband he noticed the oil needed to be changed in our car and he decided to drop by Take 5 Oil Change. No one was on line and they took us immediately. The first fellow we met offered us a bottle of water then directed us into the garage. Immediately, a 2nd mechanic asked my husband to pop the hood. Before long 4 of them started on the car. They operated as a team, each efficient and each knowing their job. We were never pressured into buying extra items nor services. It was amazing! My granddaughter needed her oil changed and I told her let's try 5 Oil change. We were the only ones there at the time and pulled right in. We were all amazed at how friendly they were. They didn't try to sell her anything extra which most places will do. They checked all the fluids under the hood and even the tires, which needed air. Very polite and professional. We'll definitely be going back. I recommend anyone needing an oil change without having to make an appointment or wait hours at other establishments to give 5 OIl Change a try. I would never recommend anyone to go here. I have a little 4 cylinder car that uses 3.5 quarts of oil. It cost me about $100 for an oil change! Never again. Even though my car only uses that much, I still had to pay for five quarts. They would not give me the leftover oil, even though it was in an actual quart bottle and not from the drum. Regardless of what their line is, it's still a bunch of garbage. read more

Awful!!!! Completely awful!! Will never come back again! Or ever recommend this to anyone in the area. The customer service was terrible. I felt like I wan inconveniencing them by pulling in. I felt bad for bryce because Ryan kept belittling him and was completely rude to him in front of me, the customer. Waste of time and money!!!!!!!!!! He didn't even know how to reset my oil change miles on top of it all. I was told I would have to go down the street to a mechanic. I would love the owner to contact me. It ended with me asking to check the tires and Ryan said "Jesus Christ" and shrugged .... Ridiculous! How can you talk to customers like that?!?? read more

I would give this 5 stars except it was over an hour before my oil change was done. I hope it's due to Covid restrictions and/or the fact it was a Thursday afternoon before Easter weekend. However, I was extremely impressed with the service. Unlike other oil change places I've used, no one tried to upsell me on the oil or air filter. I was sure I needed a new air filter, but the technician showed it to me and said it was probably good for another 2 oil changes. They also didn't try to push the higher grade oil on me, instead pointing out the oil the dealer used. Most other places tried to convince me I still needed to change my oil every 3,000 miles even though the car manufacturer said it didn't need changing until the gauge showed 20%. At Take 5 they told me I wouldn't need another one until my oil gauge said 15% because of the type of oil I used. Josh was my technician and he couldn't have been more helpful. read more

I visited the Take 5 center on 340 W. Granada Blvd in Ormond Beach earlier today. The service was excellent and the employees, namely Kevin (also TJ) were super sweet and very professional with providing detail about what they were doing. They did not try to sell me anything that wasn't needed which has always been an issue at other places in the past. They even went so far as to show me the condition of both filters (one I didn't even know existed) and agreed they both could wait awhile longer before needing replaced. I HIGHLY recommend this location and will definitely be taking all future business to them as well as referring my friends and family! Thanks again guys for being so honest and professional! read more
