Like any oil change spot they'll offer add-ons but the price for just the oil change along with the military discount was the best I've gotten in years especially with my F150. Never made it to the facility. Called about getting a price on an oil change for a 2015 Dodge Ram with the 5.7 hemi. I asked what the cost would be. I was told that it started at $101.00. Puzzled by what "it starts at $101.00" I asked what all that entailed. I was told, top off fluids, check filters....that's pretty much it. Since I was curious if that was the actual cost, I asked the specific question, does this include the 7 quarts of full synthetic oil that the truck engine requires. I was told that the $101 only included 5 quarts and I would be required to pay for 2 additional quarts of oil (which was fine and I understood). Then I was told that they could not tell me a price over the phone, that I would have to bring the vehicle in to have them look at it. WHAT? This is the same engine Ram has been putting in their trucks for over 15 years!! Look at the computer screen and put in my information on what the truck is and tell me a price!!! The person on the phone could not do that. Will not be going there and if an oil change company can't tell you a price without first having you drive there and they look at the vehicle, I wouldn't trust them to put air in a tire!!! So, glowing review a week ago and when I walk out to my truck yesterday the splash guard is hanging on by a thread. Of six fasteners that hold it in place there were two screws left. From the condition of the guard it appears that the aft screws are just removed and the guard bent down and out of the way and the screws lost or discarded. I can believe that a screw loosens and fall out but not four of six in less than two weeks. $125 for an oil change, I would expect the parts to be reattached at the least. First, let me say the customer service is horrible! I took my car there for routine oil changes on June 18, 2025. June 24, 2025 coming home from work I noticed the car started knocking and rattling really bad, by the time I made it home hoping the bottom wouldn't fall off from the very loud tapping and knocking. I was unable to drive my car to the dealer to see exactly what was wrong only to find out that Take 5 technician didn't make sure the oil plug was tighten. I had to get my car towed to the dealer. The dealer checked it out and after they did the analysis is when they found that the oil plug was lose and was told that I had slung a rod! I took the original receipt from the oil change Take 5 did and the receipt from the dealer of their findings. I went by take 5 several times only to be told that I should get something in the Email which was a lie. I even tried to contact their Corporate office I never got an answer after being put on hold for over 30mins and my car is still at the dealership accruing storage fees. I will never deal with this side street supposed to be oil professionals again. Now my next step is to contact me a lawyer to resolve this situation. read more

NEW Service: Oil change Warning!!! Do Not Take Your Car Here!!! I took my car in for an Oil Change on 9/2/2022. I noticed that my 2014 Camry started running bad. On 10/21/2022 less than a thousand miles from my Oil Change I take it back to them to check the oil. My Oil was 3 and 1/2 quarts low!! With zero oil leaks. The technician said that something obviously went wrong with my oil change. He then tells me that their computer system had a glitch and they lost everyones information. He also took my sticker that had the proof of mileage. I asked for the sticker back and they refused!! Horrible experience and I pray that my Car is not ruined because of their negligence.I have also spoken to other neighbors that had the same experience. Took them to court and Won!! We are now teaming up with News Media in order to SHUT THEM DOWN!! Stay tuned!! They messed with the wrong one!! read more

I've been here 3 times out of connivence of the location. The first time, they charged me for an air filter and never changed it. The second, he went to check the cabin filter and got oil over my seat. Today, I left for doing the other cars that pulled in after me before mine and not even speaking to me. I have only smiled and been polite and I get eyes rolled at me. I get one time employees not even acknowledging me when I pull up except to point me to a bay. But the fact they will go to every other car around me or that pulls up behind to give them water, I don't even know. I don't know if it's cuz the manager pulled up or if it's cuz of how I look, but I will not be coming back to this location. read more

Great service from a well trained crew. Clean and organized shop. Quick, efficient service. Crew was friendly and polite.

I had to endure watching the manager at this location berate his female employees in front of a full shop of customers and coworkers. One female confided to me that he does this daily and she cried as she told me. It was obvious that he enjoyed asserting his authority over the women employees. He was disgusting and I hope for their sake that someone from the corporate office gets involved and rectifies this situation. If I see him there the next time I visit I will surely drive on by and take my business elsewhere. read more

I have had a good experience in the past, but the past two visits, the technicians would not work on my car. One time was due to a staff meeting at 6:30 (hours posted say they close at 7) and the other was during regular hours where I was told, "We just took the last car and are cleaning up to go home" (note again: they close at 7 according to posted hours and I was an hour and a half prior to closing upon arrival). Needless to say, I will be taking business elsewhere. read more

I have a busy, chaotic life and I am always double tasking. This company- take 5 oil change on government street in Mobile AL- is one of the precious few companies that makes the task fast and efficient. I roll in, never have to wait, they immediately work on changing oil/filter/etc and I'm already in their system, quick pay, then roll out. The team is knowledgeable, professional, and fast. They even offer me a cold beverage and will top off fluids for free between visits. HUGE improvement over my experiences elsewhere- bad hours, waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes, etc. I can't say enough good things about this business- it's fast, seamless, and repeatable. 10 out of 10. read more
