Day 2 it's now Sunday and they are closed, of course. So my attempt to spend $1500 continues, and my need for tires remains. I went to FAUSAK tires the other day on a donut tire. I told the assistant manager that I needed to fix my tire and would come in and buy 4 new ones just as soon as I received some money I'd been waiting on. He had me sit there for an hour just to tell me that the tire could not be fixed. So I rode away on the donut tire that really isn't safe to ride around on. My 16 year old son had a job interview so I went to pick him up from school and my donut went flat. I had to call my husband who took the tire and had it fixed immediately. It was just the valve stem. Why did he tell me it couldn't be fixed? I had every intention on going back there and buying a new set of tires. I'll buy a new set just not from them! They could have helped me but chose not to because I'm a woman and he thought he could get me to buy a new tire. I just didn't have the money to do that at the time! But I do now!!! Took my wife's Lexus to have tires balanced today. They broke one of the studs and blamed it on the last person who rotated the tires. They said it was crossed threaded so it broke. I ask them to install a new stud and was told the tech didn't feel comfortable as it was a Lexus. I'm no mechanic, can't see how the make of the vehicle would matter on a stud. To add insult to injury was charged over $75.00 to balance 4 tires. These are not the Fausak family I'm used to. Can't recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

Said they were honest and trustworthy. We called and Bobbi helped get us in. Once we got their Gene did everything to figure out what the issues was. Not sure what has happened to Fausaks Tire have been using them for many many years! Recently (October 2023) bought 4 brand new tires to the tune of almost $1000 for my vehicle, left the shop and not even home yet had a flat tire. Changed the tire to my spare drove all the way back to Mobile from South Mobile County, for them to tell me the tire was defective. Fast forward to now 11/30/2023 my vehicle went into the dealership for warranty work, they call me and tell me my right front tire is unsafe has a huge knot in inside sidewall and you need a new tire ASAP. I told them to put the spare on because those tires are only a month and half old they're under warranty. I get to Fausaks with the tire it has a huge knot bigger than a softball on inside sidewall the guy there tells me it happens if you hit a pothole. I don't remember hitting a pothole and I'm pretty sure I would remember hitting a pothole to make that size of a knot, he also wanted to charge me the labor and the new warranty of the tire. Needless to say I didn't pay for the labor but I did have to pay for the warranty for the new tire in the amount of $18.96! Fausaks is not trustworthy even though I had roadside on all 4 and they sold me defective tires! I won't be buying tires from them ever again! Get it together go back to being a trustworthy company! read more

Fausak has now lost a customer. I was called 3 times after I dropped my car off for an oil change and tire rotation: 1). to be told I needed all new tires - I DID NOT; 2). to be upgraded on oil - I REFUSED and 3). to be told my battery was bad - TOOK MY CAR TO AUTOZONE AFTERWARDS TO HAVE THE BATTERY TESTED AND IT WAS GOOD AND NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING BAD. My family was in Mobile for a funeral and on the way I noticed a noise from my front wheel. I suspected it may be a bearing. After the funeral I went to Fausak Tire which was only 4 miles from the cemetery. I explained that we were planning to head back to Arkansas after the funeral and even though they were busy as bees they worked me in, diagnosed, and replaced my front right wheel bearing. All of this was less than 2 hrs on a walk in job. I wasn't expecting much and was greatly pleased with the service I got. I couldn't ask for more. Much appreciated! read more

Their "mechanic" misdiagnosed a bad left front wheel bearing on our family vehicle and it still had a bad roaring sound on the highway. He test drove it again, and said the car also needed a rear end and they don't repair that. I asked a salesman who I should take my car to for rear end repairs, and he recommended Clutch & Powertrain. So I took it there to check rear end and found out it was the left rear wheel bearing. So they replaced it and problem solved. Fausak's cost me an extra $550.00 and I called them to see what they would do about it, and they said "nothing because the other bearing was bad" although it made no difference in sound. Not a good experience. THEY BROKE two of my center caps and left them on the seat of my car. Also Mr. Willie did not bring to my attention that they put the wrong size tire on my SUV. I went there to get my oil changed and my tires rotated. I do not live in Mobile, I just was staying for a while to take care of my grandparents during quarantine. I am 18 years old as well. When I arrived and the man behind the counter discovered those facts, he started telling me all these things wrong with my car. That this and that are on their last legs. He mentioned that my battery needed to be changed because it was close to dying. This confused me as I had no issues with my battery, my car started immediately and had no issues. I told him no to buying a battery from him (which he was asking a ridiculous price for.) However after they finished with my oil, my car wouldn't start. They jumped my car and I went next door to get my tires rotated. My car wouldn't start again, thankfully the people working at the tire shop were nice and tested my battery for free. It was a bad cell in my car. I got it replaced at an autozone nearby but other issues are now wanting to present themselves in my car. I'm mostly certain that they touched the cells together in my battery so I would buy one from them. According to my grandmother they tried something similar to her Montecarlo a few months prior. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I am relocating with the military and Fausak is not available at my new location therefore the warranty that was included in my purchase does not transfer as well. The manager Justin in so many words told me I should've went to Pep Boys or another known tire company. With his attitude and not being supportive, I wouldn't suggest anyone to purchase here. As a female, I am often leery of anything dealing with car repair. So naturally, I chose a local, family owned business with a long history of service. Unfortunately, my experience was not good. While working on my front rotors, the mechanics broke a crucial part. They charged me to replace it...including the labor! I called them out, and they did take $80 off. Here's the kicker...less than 9 months later I had to have ALL of the work redone and was charged $200 less for new rotors! Ladies, beware! read more
