Extremely Disappointing Customer Service - Think Twice Before Trusting Them With Your Vehicle…read more We were on an extended road trip from Colorado when our car started experiencing problems in Daphne, Alabama. We called our trusted mechanic back home for advice, and after researching local options and considering that it was a Friday, he recommended Parrish Tire and Service Center. Unfortunately, the experience we had here was one of the worst examples of customer service we have ever encountered. Upon arrival, my husband explained that the car was currently running but might not start again if they waited to look at it. Chasity's response was "Just because you are from Colorado doesn't mean you get to move to the front of the line." He simply acknowledged her response and explained again why it would make sense to move the car to the repair area while it was still running. Her reply? "Just go get the keys." We heard nothing further until mid-afternoon on Saturday when the problem (as it turns out minor) was finally diagnosed and the repair was authorized. At 4:40p.m., we received a call saying the car was ready and that they closed at 5:00pm. We immediately headed over, arriving according to our phone clock at 4:58p.m. As my husband approached the mechanic, who was pulling our car into the garage, he was told that he would have to talk to Chasity. Rather than help resolve the situation, she slammed the door in his face and told him he could pick up the car Monday morning. Let that sink in: We were travelers stranded hundreds of miles from home, and a business that had called us just 20 minutes earlier to say our vehicle was ready refused to release it when we arrived before closing time. We were left to figure out where we would stay for three nights, with absolutely no apparent concern from the person responsible for making that decision. This was not about expecting special treatment because we were from out of state. It was about basic courtesy, communication, and treating paying customers with a reasonable degree of respect. We understand that businesses have procedures and closing times. What we do not understand is the complete lack of compassion or willingness to work with customers who are in a difficult situation through no fault of their own. To be fair, when we returned Monday morning, Chasity was nowhere to be seen, and Troy could not have been nicer. We appreciated his kindness, but his professionalism does not erase the way we were treated over the weekend. Our advice to anyone traveling through Daphne: Be cautious about choosing this business if you depend on your vehicle to continue your trip. Mechanical problems are stressful enough without having to deal with unnecessary hostility and a complete lack of customer consideration. We would not choose Parrish Tire and Service Center again.

They broke my aluminum hose for the compressor, said I did it, and after I constantly went back (my fault ik) for the same issues that were under warranty they said they no longer felt comfortable servicing my vehicle. Come to find out here recently.. after series of issues, the new compressor I asked for is actually refurbished and wasn't even mounted correctly and caused a few more thousand dollars in repairs. (Like hand tightened bolts or even missing ones.) Now you could say someone else could have messed with the compressor since then... sadly I do not go to the mechanic enough for that to be possible. :)

Took about 45 minutes to fix, website states 15 minutes. I thought the price for the patch was kind of high, $25. I think I'll stick with tire works which is also in Saraland (at least for tires). I believe I've paid $10 there, and I know they have done it free for me there too. That's all I can say at this point because that's the only service I have done (tire patch). They did say that it would cost $125 for an oil change on a GMC Sierra 1500. I think that may be a little high too, but I didn't ask what all they do on an oil change.

I asked the older gentleman at the desk about the honda and he adimately denys they have ever worked on this vehicle, argues with me about it. Mind you i have a stack of receits in the glove box from this place, finally he gets the vin number and then says yeah we worked on this vehicle. I was thinking great we are finally getting somewhere. So i asked to make an appointment to get the things fixed on the car and he refuses to let me make an appointment, says they dont do that there, which blew my mind. I said ok let me get an alignment while im here, he says theres not enough time left in the day. It was 2 in the afternoon and they werent busy. I said ok can i make an appointment for tomorrow or wednesday to get the alignment and he replys no we dont do that. So...... obviously they dont need business there. Heard they were a good honda shop but maybe they dont work on Hondas anymore. Not sure how they fix cars if they dont take walkins and they dont take appointments. Thanks for nothing Milton Honda!

Then tryed selling her an engine.. She left there with the same problem.. Defuniak Springs should be ashamed of that place.. In Mobile AL she had to stop again.. R and R Automotive on Moffat Rd B and one of the kindest and most honest person I've talk to in awhile "Red" he knew what was wrong with it immediately, seems it was a coil because 1 plug was bad. Car is running great.. Red and his Customer service host. Im sorry i didn't get her name. Treated my daughter like family, not only fixed her car for a great price, but she personally drove my daughter to a hotel and picked her up when they were done.
