Took two cars to get tires changed at 10AM. One of them was a truck and another was a Camry. The Camry was done at 12. However, the truck was not. We left at 12 and then I called back aroun 2:30 asking if the truck was done. I was informed there was one person in front of me and then it would be my turn. I come in at 4:10, 40 minutes from close to be informed they didn't even start on the truck. read more

Showed up at 5:43 with a tire that was flat 3 guys standing around not including front desk guy and another waiting to work on another car was told they close at 6:00 and his guys need to go home so they couldn't put a plug in a tire that was already removed from car and sitting in my trunk come back tomorrow I was told That won't happen spent 800 bucks on tires there a couple of months ago helping business in neighborhood guess the favor can't be returned was left with a flat tire so the guys can start prepping 17 mins early to go home WAY to lose a customer guys !!! read more

Firestone Complete Auto care is my go to spot for anything related to a vehicle other than an oil change; I only say that cause they get busy and they aren't the fastest for little jobs. That being said they are awesome for those check engine problems. So far they have replaced a battery, starter, brakes, tires, and done an alignment. Do the alignment for life deal 180 bucks, and you never have to pay for alignment ever again. The waiting room has coffee and an exceptionally clean bathroom. It has ample seating with a television that generally is on the news or on a sports station. They also respect your time, if they say the repair should take an hour it takes that or less, they also have never attempted to sell me anything that I did not come in and ask to have done. The staff is knowledgeable and very good at what they do, while being respectful of budget and time. They are my go to for car maintenance and repair and will continue to be. read more

I have been a customer for quite awhile. I don't ever feel cheated! Once during a courtesy check, they discovered a situation that could have cost my life. Someone had stolen my tire lug nuts. I took my car in for oil change and tires rotated and balanced and basic inspection before taking it on a trip and left Firestone needing a new engine cause they screwed up now won't take responsibility for it. This happened in December 2019, myself and my husband still can't get anyone in management to help us and take the responsibility for their wrong actions. We are continuously lyed to. My car was running fine when it went in for basic routine maintenance but since Firestone blew my engine I am out over 6K because of them. read more

I setup my appointment online on what I needed. They were very polite, knowledgeable, a lil slow but i did order new tires & brakes. Went in for tires today and Darrell was awesome. He knows his stuff and sells to the consumer-in other words he can sell you the tires you need at the price you can afford. We get our tires tomorrow. Went in at maybe about 5:50 the guy told us they were closing ask for my tire size he stated they didn't have not a one. Went to the Firestone on airport they help us and also said that store on government had 4 in stock. I thought that was very unprofessional I could have been head over the company...I will never recommend that store!!!!! read more

***Beware of this location**** This location changed my brakes and rotors and my brakes started having issues shortly afterwards. For one there was always a squealing noise when I brake. If brakes and rotors are new I'm not sure why it was squelch. A few months after getting brakes changed I started hearing a loud noise when car was braking. I took the car back to them and the guy at the front said it sounds like you need a brake booster. They charged me $712 to replace brake booster,but guess what they put it on wrong and it made the brakes even worse. My fiance took the car to the firestone near hillcrest and they explained that the part was put on wrong and they fixed the issue for us. Do you know the same noise I was complaining about began to happen soon after. So now we know it wasn't the brake booster that was the issue. I took the car back to this location and they said the rotors were dirty so they cleaned and turned them. Now if the sound was coming from the rotors why did they charge me for a brake booster. Something that should last the life of the car. My car is a 2014 corolla! So soon after I started hearing the sound again. I brought it back and they guy at the front said we drove it and there is nothing wrong that we hear. I continued to have the issue and finally took my car to the firestone location near the mall and the first thing the guy said was that I needed new rotors after he drove it. I told him that the other location kept saying no issue. He said that they could have replaced the rotors under the warranty. But they never did. I had to pay the firestone by the mall to fix an issue that could have been free under warranty months before if the government St location would have done their job. I am so irritated that these people played me out my money. I would never step foot at this location and I am filing a complaint. read more

I'm actually waiting for my vehicle so I can't speak about the end work product. I'll update this post at a later time. This location is extremely slow. I came in at 9:50 and so far at 12:19 I'm still here. After an hour I asked about the status and learned that the paperwork did not make it to the back-their mistake. It would be nice to get a time check after the one hour mark without having to ask. This would have ensured that they checked the status and would have learned there was a problem. Also, the lobby is not huge-they see you waiting. If you can schedule an appointment do that if it's not an emergency situation. Otherwise, a fully charged phone, snacks, and books/magazines are needed. It's hit or miss in terms of when you will be seen but I was told I was #2 in line read more

We were from Louisiana and our front brake caliber locked up. Found this business on yelp and we were not disappointed. Very friendly people. They even changed the waiting area tv channel for my daughter so she could watch cartoon. The service department was a little slow, but overall, for stopping in at 2pm and getting out in 2.5 hours on a Friday afternoon was a success to me. Highly recommend. read more

I recently had a flat tire and visiting this location 45 minutes before closing time on a Friday! (No one acted annoyed in the least bit!) I worked with Trevor and had the best experience!!! As a young female, I do not look forward to vehicle maintenance/purchase/etc because I've been taken advantage of so many times. These guys were SO helpful and were so transparent with pricing. I have a lifetime alignment. Today was the 3rd time I stopped at the Firestone at 1516 Government St, they tell me I need to drop off, or wait 3 hours and 15 minutes to have it done. I was in this store last Saturday morning to get my 1994 ford ranger brakes checked. Jeff and Daryl waited on me and they got the truck in about an hour later. Jeff explained I needed font rotors, bearings on the front and brake shoes and wheel cylinders on the back. They ordered the parts and when they showed up all the parts were wrong. I know they ordered the right parts because I was watching when they were ordered. The parts store replaced the order and work began. Jeff told me in order to replace the rear wheel cylinders the brake lines (2) were so rusted they might have to be replaced because the penetrating oil was not working. I told them go ahead and replace the lines. The parts store sent fuel lines instead of brake lines so Jeff called them and checked to make sure they got the right part numbers. When the new lines came in they still didn't match the old lines and so Jeff's brake technician took the old lines, cylinders and center tap and finally got the right lines but they had to be hand bent to match the old lines. Jeff and the technician stayed and both worked past closing time to complete the job and apologized more than once for the delays. I told them I totally understood their situation and appreciated the dedication and courteous service as it was not their fault the parts were a problem. I give these guys five stars for a great brake job, courteous service and completed the job in spite of all the difficulties. I watched customers come and go and they always received great advice and friendly service. I would recommend this store to anyone needing auto service or tires. Thanks guys.
