I had a nail in my tire that unfortunately could not be repaired. Of course, this happened on a…read moreSunday when most tire shops were closed. I found that Mavis, Jiffy Lube, and Brothers Tire & Wheel were open, so I decided to stop at Jiffy Lube. Unfortunately, no one there was willing to patch the tire, so I was advised to order a replacement tire. The employee, told me it would be a quick and easy process -- less than four minutes -- and that I could simply pay for the tire and leave. No problem. Except it wasn't four minutes. I ended up waiting approximately 35 minutes just to order the tire and make the payment. I was actually getting ready to walk out when he caught me before I left. I understand that Jiffy Lube does much more than tires, so I understand that things can get busy, but if you tell a customer something will take four minutes, you should at least try to meet that expectation or be upfront about the wait. I was originally told the tire would arrive at 10:00 AM Monday and that I would receive a call when it came in. Monday morning at 10:00 AM came around, and I stopped by because I hadn't received a call. I was then told it should arrive sometime between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, and again, I was told I would receive a call. Well, 3:00 PM came around, and I still hadn't heard anything. I had somewhere I needed to be, so I couldn't keep coming back to check. When I returned around 3:45 PM, I was told the tire had arrived. The frustrating part is that I never received the phone call I was promised. That's honestly what upset me the most. If you don't know exactly when a tire is going to arrive, that's completely understandable. Just tell me, "I'm not sure when it will arrive, but I'll call you as soon as it gets here." I would have had no problem with that. What I don't appreciate is being given specific timeframes and being told I'll receive a call, only for neither of those things to happen. Then I was told the technician who handles the tire work was extremely busy. He was working on someone's brakes and had an alignment scheduled after that. I completely understand that customers come first and that the shop was busy. I was also told that even though they were open until 8:00 PM, another customer could come in needing service, and since it's first come, first served, there was no guarantee my tire would get installed that evening. The guy offered to call me when the technician was getting close to being finished, but at that point, I was already frustrated with the communication and the amount of time this was taking. He ultimately offered to take care of it first thing Tuesday morning at 8:00 AM. I want to be clear: I understand that businesses get busy. As a customer reading this review Jiffy Lube does brakes, alignments, oil changes, inspections, filters, wiper blades, and other services. It's honestly too much, That's part of the reason Jiffy Lube is more than just a tire shop. But if you're looking for a quick, in-and-out tire replacement with minimal hassle, this was definitely not that experience. Whatever happens to you and your vehicle on a Sunday. Just wait it out until Monday to go Discount tire or Tirelink For something as simple as ordering and replacing one tire, I feel like there was a lot of unnecessary waiting, unclear communication, and missed follow-up. I paid $282 for the tire, and I do appreciate that they price-matched TireLink, but the communication throughout the process left a lot to be desired. Before I left, he told me he was going to try to make the situation up to me. I'm honestly not sure what that means at this point, considering I've already paid for the tire. I guess we'll see. My advice if you need tires and want a straightforward tire-service experience: Discount Tire or TireLink would be my first stops for next time. And personally, I would be very cautious about using Express Oil Change & Tires based on my previous experience there. They lie and just want your money. As for Jiffy Lube, since they offer multiple services. That's what took the longest and not enough workers and 2nd problem is the communication and the expectations that were set and then not followed through on. I don't expect everything to happen instantly, and I understand that things get busy. I simply expect someone to be honest about the timeline and follow through when they tell me they're going to call. If you say you're going to call, call. If you don't know when something will arrive, just say you don't know. That's all I was asking for. 09/27/26

My experience here was okay, but I don't think this shop is quite what I'm looking for in an…read moreindependent repair shop. It seemed more focused on maintenance recommendations and selling additional services rather than taking a more individualized approach to diagnosing and addressing specific concerns with my vehicle. I originally came in with a question about a potential fuel leak, but the conversation seemed to shift fairly quickly toward recommending an intake cleaning service rather than focusing on checking the potential leak itself. I also felt like there was quite a bit of emphasis on additional services throughout the visit. One thing that especially stood out to me was the tire inspection. I was told that my tire tread was low and was recommended to replace the tires along with getting an alignment. I decided to get a second opinion at Discount Tire, where they measured the tread in front of me and told me that all four of my tires were still in good condition. Overall, I think this shop may be a better fit for someone looking for routine maintenance and recommended services. Personally, I prefer a shop that puts more emphasis on individual diagnostics and repairs and is less focused on upselling. The advisors were also a little pushy with some of the recommendations, which took away from the overall experience.

They said they got slammed with a bunch of cars. What is the point of making an appointment if you get pushed to the back of the line if you aren't there with your car? I've been coming here for about 8 years for different services, and I've had some positive and some negative experiences. This seals the deal for me to not come back again.
