They also showed me my air breather filter saying I might need one soon. I had my dad look at my brakes and they are brand new, as Hyundai would have a lawsuit on their hands otherwise. Thank God I didn't buy anything else other than the inspection. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of me.

STAY AWAY THEY BREAK MORE THAN THEY FIX !!!!!Garbs is a absolute nightmare and the worst possible…read moreplace my vehicle could have gone to. starting off i specifically requested a leak down and compression test be performed on my heads, which later proved to have not been done. I was fed false information repeatedly such as my transmission was being sent out (I was having NO transmission work being performed). After being quoted and given a ETA i was not informed until i physically went up there that the technician broke my pulley, my oil pump, & dropped trash in my heads causing further damage to my vehicle. In effort to get my vehicle back i had to pay even MORE money to repair the damage they caused. Now my vehicle has a oil leak from the oil pan they removed that had absolutely no business being touched had the technician not broken my oil pump and garbs has completely refused to repair anything, despite it only being 3 weeks from when the repairs were completed.

I had a very concerning experience at Valvoline…read more I went to my usual people to do my oil change instead of Valvoline this past Saturday, even though my last service was just 5,000 miles ago. During this visit, I was informed that my oil cap had been left completely loose from the previous service--so loose it could be unscrewed by hand. As a result, my vehicle had little to no oil, which likely triggered my check engine light and could have caused serious engine damage. That alone is unacceptable and raises major concerns about the quality of work being done. On top of that, I experienced aggressive upselling. I mentioned possibly returning later for windshield wipers, but the employee repeatedly pressured me into purchasing them on the spot. After agreeing, the installation was done incorrectly and resulted in my wipers being bent. I was then told I would need to go to AutoZone to buy additional parts just to get them functioning properly. So not only did I spend over $100-$200 on something I could have handled myself for much less, but I also left with damaged equipment and another problem to fix. This experience showed a lack of care, professionalism, and accountability. Customers trust places like this to perform basic services correctly and not create bigger issues. I strongly urge management to address these problems before more vehicles are put at risk.

Upon inspecting the reason for the leak. my drain plug was loose and with visible signs of lock tight being applied to the plug. Attempted to tighten the plug some more myself to stop the oil leak but come to find out the threads are striped on either the pan or the plug and will not tighten down which is most likely why the lock tight was applied. Very dissatisfied and disappointed about the quality of work performed.

Five stars all the way for Deer Park Automotive!…read more I brought my vehicle in because the A/C fan motor had stopped blowing. From the moment I arrived, Paul Gulski, one of the owners, was personable, professional, and thorough. He asked me to write down the problem in my own words, then explained that he would check the fuses, wiring, connections, and everything else before providing an update and quote. He also assured me that no work would begin until I approved the cost. I expected them to look at it later in the day, but Paul started diagnosing the issue as soon as I left. He found the problem quickly, called with an update, and completed the repair when promised. The final cost was extremely fair. What stood out most was how Paul treated me. He greeted me like a longtime friend. I was feeling anxious about how expensive the repair might be, and I happened to be wearing a shirt that said, "But Did You Pray?" Paul noticed it and prayed out loud. I immediately felt a sense of peace and was reminded that God takes care of us and that there is no reason to be anxious. Deer Park Automotive has earned my trust and is now my go-to place for auto repairs. You may have to fight me if you try to make me go anywhere else. I absolutely recommend them!
