I went here to get an inspection on 12-26-25 for my new Tucson from Louisiana because I had to. It was a 2025 with less than 400 miles on it and they tried to tell me I needed new rotors for my brakes for BOTH sets totaling just under $1000. They also showed me my air breather filter saying I might need one soon. I had my dad look at my brakes and they are brand new, as Hyundai would have a lawsuit on their hands otherwise. JIFFY LUBE of Deer Park Does NOT VALUE OUR COUNTRY"S VETERANS! Today I went to Jiffy Lube of Deer Park to use the veterans discount coupon EMAILED TO ME FROM JIFFY LUBE and they REFUSED TO HONOR IT! The manager explained how they were in the right because they are a franchise and do not have to honor all the coupons. Well, they may be legally allowed to do that, but in my opinion that is a very shady business practice, especially since I showed them the coupon before they did the work and it was not refused until AFTER. So, they were able to benefit from Jiffy Lube corporate's efforts to APPEAR to be showing gratitude to veterans while not having to actually give a discount. If i could leave 0 stars i would ! Went here for some mechanical work on my gasket valve cover. I spent about $983, went to get an oil change recently and was told i had a leak in the same spot . They said that a bolt had been broken and i should take it back to wherever i got it serviced . Well i went back to the Center street location 2 Sundays in a row the problem was not fixed. Ended up having to come back a third Sunday but was told not to come just take it to honda instead and the GM of the store would pay for it . Its been almost 2 weeks no payment they wont pay for a rental either ! The GM Michael told me that it was my problem to deal with all they were supposed to do was pay to get my car fixed ! My car was fine before they started working on it now im having to spend extra money for their fuckup ..they just want to pay for the service but me not being able to drive around is their fault ! Not mines they should've paid for the rental car too ! Jiffy Lube is a multi million dollar business ,im just some broke person in houston trying to survive this wicked system we got in America !! And im getting screwed over by some shady mechanics in DEER PARK Thank god nothing happened while driving my 3 year old son around ! Very unprofessional and unorganized staff from the cashier to the garage attendants. They were arguing so loudly that we could hear their language inside WITH a loud country station. I watched a guest wait 15 minutes to pay...this was AFTER he had to move his own car from the bay. They did not process customers in order. Watched at least two people who arrived after us get their vehicles serviced first. Very frustrating!!! STILL WAITING AN HOUR AND HALF LATER!! This place is ridiculous!! I went here a while back and forgot to write a review, but getting an oil change today reminded me. After getting an oil change at Jiffy Lube, one of their men told me i had an issue with my brake pads, quoted it to be a $400 fix. So i called a nearby mechanic i trust, and they quoted it as a $60 fix, and when i took it in to get the pads fixed, they told me it didn't need to be done at all, so Jiffy Lube tried to steal $400 off of me. The oil change package isn't cheap, and it says it comes with a tire check. The young man performing the oil change greeted me when I pulled up with his right arm in a sling. He appeared glassy-eyed and dazed, as if on prescription pain meds. Not a good sign. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt bc I had a great experience here for my last oil change. But these were all new, considerably younger employees. So, how many times does a customer need to ask that the mechanics please be sure to let air out of the tires, because they're overinflated? Apparently more than twice (despite air pressure checks being part of the oil change package), bc when I drove out of there, I found that my tires' pressure hadn't changed. I waited an hour to be sure it wasn't just the sensors taking awhile to read the new pressure. Nope. Still overinflated. So, despite my two, polite requests, these amateurs couldn't be bothered to do a proper job. The two youngsters, who were supposed to be doing the fluid top-ups and vacuuming, never stopped talking, laughing and goofing off. I'm not surprised they turned out not to have done a proper job. Meanwhile there was no manager or supervisor or ADULT in sight or on site--just irresponsible! read more

My Tacoma needed brake pads. The Toyota store on the Gulf freeway quoted me a $1135 price. Jiffy Lube did it for 371. That was a $764 savings. The staff was very helpful and the wait was less than 2 hours even with the wait for the parts. Definitely the place to go for this job! They also do a great job on oil changes! read more

I am a life long jiffy Lube customer. I came to this jiffy Lube on (10/14/19) to get my oil changed and tires rotated and had great customer service. However, I noticed two days ago that my check engine light randomly came on and I have new oil stains on a year old driveway. I go back to have them look into it, maybe they accidentally did something when they were changing the oil and the customer service I received was the complete opposite of the customer service I had the first time I came in. We, unfortunately, only came here because Firestone had a 45 minute wait and it was in the same parking lot. We desperately needed an oil change because of an upcoming road trip/vacation. From the minute we pulled up and an attendant came to our door, the customer service was sour and short. All three of the employees (two men and a woman) all acted as if today was the worst day of their lives (with the attitude to match). We had to wait an additional 25 minutes while one of the grumpy employees ran to Auto Zone to get a filter for our 2018 Camry. No coffee inside (but all the additives) and a dirty bathroom to boot. Sorry Jiffy Lube, but your customer service has severely gone downhill and it didn't used to be like this. RIP Jiffy Lube. read more

Never, never, never bring your car here. Last year, I decided to try them out for the first time to get my oil/oil filter changed in my car. They never replaced the oil cap on top of the engine and oil spewed everywhere. Oil was under my hood, on my engine, and the floor of my garage. Had to drive back to this location and they had my oil cap in their "lost and found" box. Complained to the store's district manager who said he'll fix this. That was last year, never received a call back. Terrible, just terrible. No Stars for this place. read more

In Oct 2014 I took my 2005 BMW 325Ci in for an oil change. Two weeks later I started noticing an oil spot every time I parked my car, even when it only sat for 10 minutes. I took the vehicle to a repair shop and they told and showed me the oil drain plug was stripped. I had to replace the oil pan at a cost of $1300. A bolt can only be stripped when it is being inserted. The jiffylube employee was careless when they reinstalled the drain plug. And a second issue I had at the time of the service was that when I was paying the bill, the person behind the counter asked me what type of oil I got. That leads to possible thoughts that maybe they put in cheap oil and charge for the expensive stuff. Why did he not know what type of oil had been poured into my vehicle?? read more
