I needed to get my car inspected since end of November and with everything else going on right…read morebefore Christmas, it's taken me a while to get it done. When I see the "State Inspection Sticker" at the Kwik Kar center on my way home from school. I pull right in! I was even more pleased when the attendant told me it would only be 15-20 minutes! The guy went to work and I took a seat. I was surprised when the cashier told me he wanted to talk to me in the bay. I walked over there and he told me that my car wouldn't pass the inspection with a brake light out but he could replace the bulb. Ok, no problem. So I went to sit back down. Once again they call me out there.... This time he figured out that it wasn't the bulb but the wiring that was out. He couldn't fix that but he agreed to "rig it" so it would pass. Yippee! He even took the time to show me the casing that was slipping so I would know what needed replacing later. That should only take another month for me to do!! All in all it ended up taking 45 minutes, but they only charged me for the inspection and I rolled away with my nice shiny new sticker! Now when I get pulled over for talking on my cell while driving, at least I won't get a ticket for expired tags lol

Be cautious using this shop. After spending over $3,000 on initial repairs, my check engine light…read morecame on the same day I picked up my vehicle, an issue I had never experienced before bringing it in. When I returned, they attempted to charge me another diagnostic fee for something that clearly appeared immediately after their repair. I refused to pay it and after they inspected it they admitted it was related to the work they had done and "fixed" it....temporarily. Later, the check engine light came back on. I asked them to simply check whether it was the same issue as before. Instead, they charged me $500 in diagnostics and told me it was unrelated. On top of the $500, they are now telling me it's an additional $2,000 in repairs. So after already paying $3,000+, I am now being asked to spend thousands more for issues that began immediately after their initial service. I feel nickel and dimed and overcharged throughout this process. After sharing my experience with coworkers, I learned that several of them had similar issues here, repeated diagnostics, high repair costs, and unresolved problems. That was concerning to hear. I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.

Here they kept my car for 2 days of testing and confirmed I never needed the alternator!!! The problem was a second battery in the trunk. I should have come here first.
