Upon inspecting the reason for the leak. my drain plug was loose and with visible signs of lock tight being applied to the plug. Attempted to tighten the plug some more myself to stop the oil leak but come to find out the threads are striped on either the pan or the plug and will not tighten down which is most likely why the lock tight was applied.
