Our vehicle was towed to Simba, they diagnosed the problem, the part was ordered and vehicle was done the next day... WAY earlier than expected! Staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. I'm not 100% sure on what would be charged for this particular issued I looked it up online and this fell within that range... towards the higher end of the range but within the range nonetheless. BONUS, I checked in on Yelp and there was a 10% off labor coupon. That saved us about $40! Like I said, no one LOVES having to service a vehicle but when we have to, we'll be returning Simba Automotive!

Saved me thousands of dollars and so much time and stress. Long story short, I brought my truck to Clear Lake Auto shop, and they quoted me $2600 for a problem that "might not work" and I would be "gambling" this money. The alternative was to replace my entire transmission, which was quoted around $5700 for a used one, or $7200 for an also used transmission. I never received a clear answer on what was going on with my vehicle. I was also initially quoted $330 to drop the transmission and go inside (including the 2 hours of labor) + $165 diagnostic fee. When I saw the total for that was closer to $800 versus the $500 I was originally quoted, I knew something wasn't right. When I called about this pricing, they changed it back to $500 with no questions asked. Due to the lack of trust from this shop, I towed my vehicle to Triple J's Auto Repair in Pasadena and received a quote in less than 24 hours for $1100 to fix my truck. They were so responsive and explained everything to me. Had my truck ready for me quickly and couldn't have asked for an easier process better people, and better shop. SO THANKFUL. So, if you need any work done on your vehicle, I HIGHLY RECOMEND TRIPLE J's AUTO REPAIR @ 3005 Westside Dr in Pasadena !!!!

I got a diagnostic at NTB and they told me I needed an oil cooler replacement and a coolant flush…read more NTB sent the car to Billy Lowery Automotive to do the work which I paid $1.7k for, they worked on the car for 4 freaking days. Not sure why it took 4 full days to work on the car but they took that long which I had to rent a vehicle to take my kids to school, etc. I didn't let that be an issue even though it was, I was patient. Once I received the car back it starts making popping noises when turning the wheel and driving, the noise gets really bad at times and sounds like something is about to break off. Mind you, THIS NOISE AND ISSUE DID NOT EXIST BEFORE I received the car back. I even confirmed with NTB and their mechanics, which tested my vehicle and drove it prior to taking it to Billy Lowerys Automobile, that this noise and issue was not an issue and was non existent before taking it to Billy Lowerys Automotive. I took it back to NTB and they sent it back to Billy Lowerys, who took 4 freaking hours just to find the noise that NTB found in less than 30 minutes, I called them for an update on my car and I was told they would call me back since every single person there was on a 1 hour lunch break. after another 2 hours I call NTB and they tell me they have my car back?! so they didn't even have the professionalism to call me back the guy that owns the vehicle and paid for everything. Billy Lowerys told NTB that it was "wear and tear" on my driver side lower control arm and strut and that they both needed to be replaced. I don't understand how the lower control arm ALL OF THE SUDDEN has wear and tear while it was parked and being worked on? If the vehicle wasn't being driven around or nobody was joy riding my freaking car then there shouldn't have been any change in my lower control arms condition. Even common sense can tell you that. Why would the lower control arm suddenly mess up while its parked? CLEARLY Billy Lowerys is a rip off and they will f*ck your car up either from joy riding or just to get more money out of you. It is not a coincidence that I got my car back f*cked up after paying $1.7K for the replacement of my oil cooler and coolant flush. That's insane. I would stay way clear of this shop unless you want your car to get f*cked up. The lady on the phone is also very rude and unprofessional.
