As for the food, the pizza is always literally 'Hot and Ready!', good and delicious! We went off our route a bit to get here for lunch as we all enjoy breweries and distilleries. We…read morearrive and were greeted and seated quickly by smiling folks behind the bar. They have a beautiful still and the distillery and brewery equipment are all on display alongside the restaurant and bar. Fairly typical small town bar & grill layout. On this day, we ordered at the bar. I'm not sure if that's always the case. We got a variety of entrees and all six of us liked our meals. Tri-tip steak sandwich, French Dip, tacos, fish and chips, and I got frog legs and deviled eggs from the apps menu. Everything was tasty. However, they only had 3 of their own beers on tap and no tastings available of their spirits. Said their brewer and distiller hadn't been in for quite awhile so production was behind. I wish them well as they work thru their absences and ailments. The two beers I tried, a porter and a schwarzbier, were ok. So, right now, it's a fine eatery, but a disappointing brewery & distillery.

The owner needs to do better when it comes to service." My wife and I have been here six or seven times and have noticed the service has been steadily going downhill. This place was empty, and the server behind the bar was accommodating when there wasn't anything more pressing, like answering the phone. Our party of four ordered four entrees, two appetizers, and some beer and sodas. My beer flight and my wife's beer came out lukewarm. When the appetizers came out with the meal, the server told me that if I wanted the appetizers before the entrees, I should have told her when I placed the order. (She didn't bother to ask when I wanted them.) She doesn't seem to understand that an appetizer is a dish of food served before the main course of a meal to stimulate one's appetite. My sides of tater tots were so cold, I took them back to the counter to get reheated. I was very disappointed in my Tuesday lunch. Hopefully, you will have better luck than us.

Anyway, decided to stop in here because the hubby wanted to try the smash burger. He was impressed! It didn't come with any sauce though so he had to ask for ketchup and mustard. The pickles on it gave it a nice dill flavor and fresh crunch. The steak fries were amazing and I would personally ask for extra pico on it next time around. I also got the garlic Parmesan wings and they were pretty good. If they had a little more sweetness like some honey or something, I think they would have been better! Overall though the service was quick and friendly and the ambience is of course going to be noisy because it's in the middle of the open casino, so to each their own!

I had the shrimp cocktail and clam chowder, and both were delicious. The reason behind the bad review was the manager. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, she was friendly, attentive, and deserving of recognition. Unfortunately, a manager (Carmen) came to our table and apologized for our waitress supposedly being rude, even though she had been wonderful to us the entire time. The manager's comments felt unnecessary and she was unprofessional, and we felt terrible that our waitress was being spoken about that way in front of customers. We ended up tipping her extra because of how well she treated us and how poorly management is treating the employees there! My husband and I own our own business and would never treat employees in such a way! Do better!

Honestly, it felt more like a diner pretending to be a steakhouse. My husband ordered the $80 ribeye, and it was an absolute disappointment served cold and overcooked. For that price point, we expected quality and attention to detail, neither of which we received. We also ordered the calamari appetizer, and it was by far the worst calamari I've ever had soggy, cold, and completely unappetizing. To make matters worse, we ordered drinks before our meal, yet didn't receive them until after our appetizer and salad had already been served, which only added to the frustration. I truly don't know if this was a server issue, a kitchen issue, or both, but the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. Between the poor food quality, lack of timing, and disappointing service, this restaurant completely missed the mark. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, quality service, or an actual steakhouse experience.
