Beef Bulgogi

The inside was so cool, there was a cool fish tank, the service was amazing, plating was very nice, the beef bulgogi was great, some of the best beef I've had

We ended up at Takara after a disappointing experience across the street at Rosetta's Italian Restaurant, and what a relief it was. The food was amazing, the service was friendly and welcoming, and the sushi was incredibly fresh. The noodles were outstanding--perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Takara completely turned our night around, and we'll definitely be back.

Awesome sushi and sashimi.

Sushi is very good here, fresh and creative combinacions. Highly recommend it. Everyone always very happy to serve you. Love the new renovations and ambience.

Takara doesn't disappoint, went here tonight. Sushi's are top-notch. We ordered Hawaii, Weston and Hoka Tuna rolls and each one of them was nicely prepared and tasty. Tuna Tartar was different from the usual but delicious. Service is highly efficient and attentive. Love the new location, thought it was a little bit more tight in space compared to the old location. Nonetheless you cannot go wrong with Takara when you crave sushi.

Just a few of the dishes we enjoyed.

First time here and our waitress was informative, funny, and extremely efficient. Excellent ambiance, very inviting and enjoyable to sit down and eat in vs takeout. Food was not only prepared in front of us but was absolutely perfect. Looks like I've found a new go to place for sushi.

The service is polite and super sonic speed. The food is super scrumptious with all the right notes. The ambiance was fantastic even though the restaurant used to be a Dunkin.

I have been here twice with a girlfriend and both experience was great. Great place to dine and catch up. The service is very friendly and helpful. Food comes out tasty, very well presented and fairly quick. It's a cute little warm restaurant with a clean look and well maintained.

Did not have to wait but this place does get busy as it is not too large and they only have two tables that can hold a large party. Service was friendly and really helped us with the selection dishes and the menu itself. Sashimi was very fresh and tasty. The whole negative was the toro which did not taste right so we had to request a refund.

Rainbow Roll - $13.00 and 4 pc Sushi Sampler $10.00

I went out to lunch on a whim and was going to be bad and head over to 5 guys for a burger and fries. I got to the intersection and then remembered that Takara was right on the next corner if I took a right. I took the right and gave Takara a shot. I am SO glad I did. I ordered light, with a Rainbow roll and the 4 pc Sushi Sampler; Both were perfect!! Not overly an overly large roll but tightly rolled and with toped with fresh pieces of a variety of fish. The 4pc sushi sampler was equally well done 4 perfectly sized pieces of Nigiri Sushi and with the exception of one, didn't come apart when I picked it up with my chopsticks. Will be definitely going back for more on my next payday!

So, our kids ate our food, and after a very long wait, their dish finally came out. By that point we had already been there for about one hour. They gave us a free ice cream dessert to make up for it but the additional time we had to spend there wasn't really worth it. We were there for nearly 90 minutes because of this oversight. So, it's a good place, and I know people make mistakes, but it kind of put a damper on what would've been a great family dinner. Can't say if we will return in the future.

I would have preferred the apps first then dinner after but everything came out at once basically. It's nice and clean inside nothing fancy. We ordered pork strips, peeking ravioli, chicken fingers, orange beef, garlic lo mein, general gaus shrimp. The crab Rangoons were garlicky and delicious as always. The chicken fingers were a bit over cooked too crunchy for my liking. Usually they're light brown and lightly crispy. The pork strips were good. The garlic lo mein is usually spot on and comes with mushrooms, water chestnuts and pea pods. This time it came with green pepper which I don't like, so that was a bit of a disappointment. The green peppers usually come in the veggie lo mein. The orange beef had good flavor but the meat was tough, so that was unfortunate. My parents liked the beef and lo mein. The general gaus shrimp was tasty.

We were looking forward to relaxing, enjoying some good food and having a little sake. We've been to Masa several times before and our previous experiences have generally been very good. The food is consistently delicious and the hibachi chefs usually put on a wonderful and entertaining show. Unfortunately, the wait staff can sometimes be less than pleasant, although we were fortunate to have a great male waiter that evening and our chef was entertaining as well. Our waiter was doing his best, but he was busy attending to the other tables. At one point we had dirty soup and salad bowls sitting on our table and there was simply no room left for them. We tried to hand them to one of the female waitstaff members who was nearby, thinking it would be a simple and reasonable request. To our surprise, she flat out refused to take them and told us that we needed to wait for our waiter. Given that the restaurant was busy, this came across as unnecessarily unhelpful and added to our frustration with the service. Things were going very well until around 8:30 PM. We were seated in the back section with several other families and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Then a very large group of young adults arrived, apparently celebrating some type of event. They came in with oversized speakers and began playing very loud music, parading and dancing around the restaurant and generally taking over the atmosphere. What was especially disappointing was that the restaurant staff did not appear to do anything to address the situation. The noise and disruption became so excessive that it completely changed the experience for everyone seated in the back section. Families who had been enjoying their dinners began leaving, including my family. What should have been a relaxing Friday night dinner turned into an extremely loud and uncomfortable experience. I want to emphasize that we have enjoyed Masa Hibachi many times in the past. The food is good, the hibachi chefs are entertaining and when the atmosphere is under control, it can be a great place for a family dinner, etc. Unfortunately, the lack of intervention that night, combined with some of the service issues, really hurt the experience. If you're looking for a quiet or relaxing family dinner, I would strongly recommend avoiding Masa on Friday or Saturday nights, especially later in the evening. Based on our experience, it can turn into a madhouse and the restaurant should do a better job of making sure one large group doesn't ruin the experience for everyone else.

Staff here was rather neutral, with nobody really going above and beyond (kind of to be expected at these fast casual style restaurants), but nobody was bad or rude at all. For dinner, I started with a side order of their seaweed salad, which was fantastic, and actually one of the better seafood salads I've had recently. After that, I ordered both a salmon combo and an eel combo, which comes with a maki roll and nigiri. The portions were about what I expected, nothing huge but certainly not small, and it tasted of good quality. Pricing is a bit on the higher end for the quality for sure, out of 7 dishes between a group of 4 and 2 were for sure pre-made items only 2 dishes were ok. As for the food itself, I can say it's more on a "cleaner" side vs the extra flavor and oily texture you'd get from a fast food chain. The ramen broth was subtle, the noodle perfect, but the flavor wasn't there. The Chef special roll was way over priced for what you get, especially only having 1 piece being the best out of the "assorted" fish. The hibachi wasn't good in my opinion, good portion though. Would not order that again. The chicken teriyaki flavor was great, chicken texture was more like grilled on a pan vs over flame. Loved the veggies though. The gyoza and takoyaki were good as well as the strawberry mochi icecream. Wish they were more friendly though, making us feel like we were inconvenient for them was a major turn off.

The food quality is above average, the execution is high, and the service is attentive. The space is clean and efficient, but lacks warmth. We visited the day after a large 1-2 foot snowstorm, and Ochi was one of the only restaurants open in town. I've eaten at Ochi 4x since it opened in 2023, although there's a lot more to explore on its expansive and prolific menu. On this visit, we tried a Tuna Poke Bowl, a Salmon Pome Bowl, a Katsu Ramen, a Mango Salad, and a Mochi desert. Regarding the Tuna Poke Bowl, Ochi took the liberty of substituting more expensive fatty tuna (Toro), for regular tuna (Maguro), a generous and appreciated gift as a thanks for dining on a very slow night due to the storm. Hence, I would recommend everything we tried: the Mango Salad, any of the Sushi, Sashimi and Maki choices, the Poke bowls and Ramen (especially the Spicy Miso Ramen, the chicken Katsu Ramen, and any of the traditional pork or beef Ramen choices). In addition, the deserts are especially worth trying, and are all well orchestrated. You can't really go wrong at Ochi.
