    Aloo Matar and Garlic Naan
    Kelly M.

First time here. We were greeted immediately and seated in a booth. There was a TV on the far wall that was playing what I guess were Indian hit videos. There is an extensive menu that includes a veg or non-veg Thali platter, which is not something I see at most Indian restaurants here. We opted for the Dal Tadka, Aloo Matar, garlic Naan, Masala Chai and a Mango Lassi. The chai can be ordered sweet with milk or without sweetener and milk, as you like. It was excellent without either. The Mango lassi was a little sweet for our taste but they usually are - it was still really good. But the star of the evening was the food. The Aloo Matar was a platter full of peas with some potato accompaniment, all really tasty. The peas were very firm but not undercooked so we wondered if maybe they use fresh peas and we're just not used to the texture. The Dal was fantastic, especially with the garlic naan. We wanted to try their rice pudding but had eaten ourself full so there was no room. We'll be certain to leave some room for dessert the next time we're here!

Nothing to complain about! Ordered two similar items, vegetarian pakora and onion bhaji. Would recommend the onion bhaji over the vegetarian because the vegetarian version had too many flavors going on. Vegetarian samosas were full of content, but weren't anything spectacular. The green accompanying sauce was interestingly tangy. Butter chicken was creamy and flavorful, what you'd expect. Chicken 65 does have a nice kick!

This was my first time ordering from Taj Mahal and I was very impressed. I ordered for delivery which had to be over $30. I was really happy to see so many vegetarian options! Everything came with a sweet dipping sauce and a semi-spicy dipping sauce which were really yummy! Everything was very flavorful and the paneer was delicious! I ordered a spice level four out of 10 but should've went a little bit higher! Im happy that the rice was a generous portion that came with the paneer. We also had garlic and regular non-which were great! Will defenitly return!!

Literally the best Indian food I've ever had. So good that I order the same thing two nights in a row! I had the goat curry and it was amazing. I've had the lamb curry but goat is more tender in my opinion. And the sauce that the veggie samosas come with is chefs kiss!!

    Non-veg Thali. Amazingly good!

Got Non-Veg Thali and it was a good portion and very delicious! Also, I was told that Sunday dinner buffet is coming at the beginning of October and it's going be $15.95. Can't wait!

    Lamb saag. Spice level 10!

I really do like this place even for the faults. The food is delicious but the last 2 times I have ordered in here my order has been partly wrong. The first time they forgot an appetizer, the second time regular naan instead of garlic naan. Both were easily corrected and the food quality is delicious enough to overlook those issues. The paneer 65 is deliciously spicy with that great red sauce. The lamb saag I ordered at a spice level 10 and it delivered. Deliciously spiced with big chunks of lamb and you can taste the layers of flavor. I'll be back again, and maybe that time we can get my order right the 1st time!

One of the highlights of the lunch menu is the inclusion of naan and rice, which perfectly complemented the flavorful curries and tandoori specialties. I ordered the curry chicken and it was very delicious. Tender pieces of chicken with aromatic sauce bursting with spices. The curry sauce was smooth, infused with the warmth of ginger, the fragrance of garlic, and the subtle heat of chili peppers. The portion was also very generous. I couldn't finish it and saved it for dinner. There are 3 levels of spicy, and I choose mild which was good for me. They have medium and spicy as the next two level. Pretty sure you will find something that suits your taste bud. Atmosphere is good for what they have to offer, and the food was delicious. I will definitely come back.

We opted for take out, as the dining area is limited by space, and seating comfort is minimal. You may want to take this into consideration if you have a large party, or number of guests. With that said, the staff is friendly and helpful to us. The menu selection seems limited on types of curry available. It seems they only offer 3-4 types of curries. However, the portions were generous, and the dishes were flavorful. Interesting that the Tikki Masala was prepared in a way that was new to us. The pricing was comparable to others in the region. Overall, it is a good option for take out, or trying out Indian cuisine in the MOT area.
