Delicious food and great - REALLY great - service. I came here for my father-in-law's birthday with the Hubster and his brother. First, the decor is great. There are two whole planes hanging up in there. I imagine they built the restaurant around them, or brought in the pieces and built them inside. Anyway, it's really cool. There's also a view of the air strip where you can see planes that are parked or landing/taking off. My only complaint is that the windows are set kind of high and you can't see much if you're short and sitting. We ordered drinks and food, all of which was really good. I had the liver and onions, which was breaded (never had that before). The food was great and the portions were pretty large. My father-in-law actually took half of his sandwich home. The service, by far, was the best part of the lunch, which is saying a lot. Our server was incredibly helpful, chatty, professional, and basically all-around lovable. He definitely contributed to us having a really great lunch. I would highly recommend this spot for a nice meal. It's a bit too far flung to responsibly drink here, unless you're living at some of the cottages nearby.

Front entrance

Beautiful grounds and gardens and patio. Great staff. Good food, worth the drive to Ramara.

The view

Good food, nice atmosphere. We sat inside but so many flies so asked to sit outside. Got a nice view of the river a d saw float plans take off and land.

What an unusual location for a restaurant? We were lucky and were offered a table on the big veranda outside. Our party was seven and was easily accommodated even on a Friday evening (we had booked the day before). Our waitress was attentive offering to take our drinks, a drinks menu was not on the table, but this was quickly provided. Menu is very varied and can cater for a veggie although limited. Our meals were great, we had a shared starter of Calamari, Nachos and Duck Wings which was plenty. For mains everyone had what they wanted, though there was a little delay for some to get their Pizzas. Food tasted good. Overall, great unique location watching the boat planes land and take off!! Would visit again if in the area.

Good spot for a fun night out. Stopped by for dinner and got:…read more- Fillet with side Shishito Peppers and Mushrooms: Fillet was cooked to yhe perfect temperature and was lean yet tender. Shishito peppers had a nice bite, mushrooms were a tad salty. - Swinton Burger: It was ok, pretty standard burger. Patty had a nice pink tonight, though was a bit overcooked on the outside. Good amount of chunky fries. - Sticky Toffee Pudding: The definition of indulgence, as the pudding is drowning in a lake of sauce. - Sunshine Express: Refreshing cocktail. Absolute standout service that's welcoming and helpful. Kitchen is a bit slow, though likely due to the amount of guests they get. Prices are on the higher end. Vibe is elevated casual. Overall an enjoyable night out.

Staff were really nice and they made a great recommendation with adding the carrots as a side. If i had to recommend a unique side it would be the carrots! It was so flavourful- we were all amazed by them. We had to order a steak and they really can cook these well. You can see where they fire them up on the grill. We ordered everything to share - Steak, pasta( i can't remember which one), carrots, fries, chop house potatoes, lamb chops and sticky toffee pudding. Everything we ordered and ate was absolutely delicious and I would definitely be back to enjoy another meal here! The vibe is cool in there, a good option if you're looking for a fancier dinner in the area.

Obviously you would think that…read morean establishment with high stakes and high rollers would have a decent selection of fine food and fine booze! This had all of that fine food fine booze but also great service! The only setback I had with my experience was the $46 additional lobster tail I ordered that was around the same size as one of the scallops on my scallop entrée.... If you're going to charge $46 for a lobster tail it should be fairly significant. Other than that, I highly recommend this location, this is a review on the food but even though the rooms are a little dated they're very large and comforting! Not a bad way to spend a weekend!

I ordered a dry vodka martini (with a twist) with grey goose, it came sweet and with Smirnoff. A second try got me the grey goose but sadly it was again sweet and I didn't have the heart to send my drink back a second time fearing it might return with a human body fluid in it. The plastic straw was a nice touch too. I started with a Caesar, no croutons, it was a salad....that came with croutons. Followed by the Poke and Carpaccio. The Poke was bad, it tasted like it was 2 days old, places on a piece of nori that was soaked in 'tuna juice'. I sent it away. The carpaccio was salted into oblivion, no olive oil, no green to cut the richness, 4 crackers....just overall bad. The wine list reads like a gas station liquor store. No bubbly by the glass. No light reds. I guess I'll just have these two previously frozen rolls instead of edible food or drink. Overall I'm disappointed and I guess I should have known better, however, when in Rome. Won't be back
