This is the best latte I've ever had in Eugene. Hands down. Better even than Wandering Goat or Perk, and miles better than Allan Bros. But I still can't switch and start hanging out here. For one thing, the music they're playing is awful! Like really bad dance pop and top 40 from the 90s, or something. Just really bad. And too loud to drown it out with my headphones. Also, it's either deserted, in which case I feel weird being the only one here, or there are really really obnoxious middle age women sitting right next to me talking incredibly loud and laughing so loud I want to smack them. The place is full of hard surfaces which mean the acoustics are really noisy. Also, the wifi is so slow I can't actually open any of the things I'm working on. I've been waiting for ten minutes to open one page!! Since I come to coffeeshops mainly to get work done, I'll have to continue getting bad coffee so that I can actually concentrate on my work. Too bad, because the espresso truly is phenomenal, and I love the look of the decor. But the noise pollution is way out of hand. Hopefully they'll improve! read more

I came here with possibly too high of expectations. I spent $6 for a medium almond/cashew milk mocha and braced myself for the first sip. The taste was rich and smooth but there is something in the flavor profile that throws everything off. I keep trying to drink the rest of the drink but I just don't love it and it tastes off. read more

Oh I went there and I got two great drinks and sat outside and it was so hot outside but the drinks were cold and they gave me a lime.

Second time in Eugene Oregon and I had to return to Tailored for my usual Hibiscus tea which was great as always. This is a wonderful spot for relaxing, meeting and enjoying the day. I am not a coffee drinker, but the customers will let you know from their repeat visits that the multiple assortment of coffee blends are excellent. The staff is very welcoming and polite. The owner is wonderful and ensures great quality in what ever you order. I recommend this be one of your stops if you're ever on n Eugene. read more

I work in 3rd wave coffee and this place was an amazing 3rd wave coffee house! We got a variety of drinks to sample all the coffee and espresso offerings. What stood out to us the most was the Als Latte. Holy guacamole! It made with homemade cashew/almond milk and was probably the best latte I have ever had. This place is for espresso nerds and those who gravitate toward lighter (light-medium to medium), higher acidity roasts that have lots of fruit, herbal and tea-like expressions. Do not come here if you like Starbucks or Peet's, as you will be disappointed. Do not come here if you are used to using lots of cream, sweeteners, looking for a honey ginger pumpkin spiced carrot cardamom latte, or similar styles of coffee. There are plenty of other cafes in town that will be better suited to you. If you want an espresso, americano, or cappucino where the fruit and herbal notes come first - and the body, the fat, and the lingering finish comes next, come here. Having sampled some of the other roasters in Eugene who import high-elevation grown beans from places like Ethiopia, Kenya, Honduras, Costa Rica, Columbia, etc., I think Tailored does the best in the city of finely matching the roasting to the inherent qualities derivative from the coffee plants and terrior of the region. These are also some of the more expensive beans you can buy in Eugene, but hey, if you have the same tastes as the people here, it's worth the marginal price increase. read more

I literally would drink her by the gallon if I could it's just so hard to find a creamy milk substitute in a world of dairy lovers. Found: An outstanding coffee place in Eugene with indoor seating. I like to sip coffee from a mug. I enjoy spending time in coffee shops. Kiosks are handy but a shop is much better. The menu is simple; the coffee art is outstanding; their in-house cashew/almond milk is the perfect pairing for their delicious espresso. Milk did not dominate the coffee. My latte was a bit cooler than I prefer but held the heat well. The interior is done in clean lines. No comfy couches :( but the tables and seating worked for my needs. The staff is very knowledge. The one downside is that parking is limited to the metered-street spots. But a visit to this place is worth the quarters. read more

《Hot Chocolate》 After the word...ganche...I was sold. Perfectly balance pure chocolate, creamy hot cocoa goodness. So, if your husband has cut you off of caffine for the day, this isn't a bad way to go. The barista was knowledgable, flexible, and open to questions. The atmosphere was entertaining and comfortable. Fantastic coffee. They make their own cashew almond milk. I had it in a cappuccino and it was excellent. There's not a lot of food served here so keep that in mind I didn't even see any pastries. We came into Eugene from out of town, happened on Tailored (probably via Yelp) and went back the next morning too. My friend also raved about his drink and scone. Vibe was decent walking in, their equipment was really visible. Coffee bags full of coffee lying on the ground for everyone to see. Depends on whether or not your into that. I freely admit that I am a coffee snob. I grew up in my family-owned coffee roasting business, where we offered all varieties of roasts, from the lightest to the boldest and everything in between. That said, I can usually manage on just about anything if I have the right expectations. Reading the reviews for Tailored, I had high expectations. Mistake number one. Before ordering, I asked if they had a bold roast (our preference). No dice, everything was "pretty light", but they could make an Americano. The hubs ordered that, and I went for a cold brew, which is usually more robust by nature. Mistake number two. We paid $9.00 for an 8-oz Americano and a 12-oz Cold Brew. Nine. Dollars. Mistake number three. I took one sip and could barely swallow. The coffee was, to put it bluntly, sour. Even the Americano, made with espresso which is SUPPOSED to be dark, was barely drinkable. After sip number two of my cold brew I couldn't drink anymore. Hubby forced his down just so he could get the caffeine fix, but mine went in the trash. If you have to rely on avocado toast, hipster ambiance, and not-milk lattes for the coffee to be pass muster, something's wrong. Save your hard earned dough and skip Tailored. read more

Review: Best espresso in Eugene, and delightful light roast coffees as well. The espresso blend is lovely and light, with a pleasant balance of flavors - nothing overpowering in it. ( But be aware that coffees ARE seasonal and blends are not exactly the same year round at any coffee shop using the freshest coffee. I have only visited in summer. ) Every barista I've experienced here has made excellent cortados every time - not an easy drink to make as there is very little room for error. Rant: It is not a garbage fast food coffee place, and I'm guessing the down votes saying it was "weak," etc, are folks who expected a super burnt, dark (aka "strong") roast, or were people who should've gone to a drive-thru rather than expect a small walk in shop to have tons of people on staff. Excellent baristas aren't a dime a dozen. I'm not surprised to see they only have one or two people on staff, and the wait isn't even long - check your perceptions, small specialty businesses who cater to quality cannot operate like a massive, high volume chain, and shouldn't be expected to. read more

Ok so first off I've only been here once, so take this as you will. I've been to Oregon many times and somehow I have yet to have a good latte and I'm sad to say this place stayed true to that. I don't drink coffee everyday and my go-to treat is a decaf iced vanilla latte. They made my drink wrong the first time but that wasn't a problem. When the barista made it the second time, I watched her fill the glass with ice and then fill a separate glass with the espresso, syrup and to the brim with milk. She then poured it over the ice and there was at least an inch left in the container that didn't make it into my to go cup and I could tell from all the way I was sitting that it was wayyyyy to much milk. The coffee I got was basically milk with a blow-by of espresso and vanilla. This review is way too long but I guess I'm just a little frustrated that a top rated coffee shop doesn't know how to make a proper vanilla latte. Ok, complaining over. Can someone please tell a good place to get an iced vanilla latte in Eugene?!? Pleasssee! I'm still hopeful that one day Oregon will bless me with a good one. read more

Chai latte is way too sweet and the coffee tastes burnt. I could not even drink. The one bright spot is that they make their own cashew milk, but it was hard to enjoy it with the terrible coffee and overly sweet chai. Very disappointed. read more
