We had a wedding to go to and needed her suit tailored STAT but when we walked in there they were slammed with prom dresses (prom season). It was a Tuesday and we needed it done by Saturday. I also dropped off a bridesmaid dress and 2 pairs of pants that I would not need until the end of the month (a good 3 weeks). They promised that the suit would be done in time and that was good enough for us. When we went to pick it up, my bridesmaid dress and 2 pants were done also! They rushed up that process as well because they knew I had to head back up to Gainesville. Totally unexpected and appreciated. They will absolutely be getting more of my business when I am down south in the future. The work was quality and the mother/daughter duo could not have been kinder and more professional. My fiance bought me a great suit while we were in New York months ago but I didn't have time in NYC to get it tailored so I'd been hanging on to it waiting for the perfect tailor. Andrea, the owner if Hamilton Douglass, is the only person I will go to from now one. Tailoring is only a small part of what she does - they are really known for their fully custom suits and shirts. But alas, it gets even better. Andrea is perhaps one of the nicest and most gracious women I've met and invited me to a networking event with her and her husband. This is where I'll be buying my suits and shirts from now on.

Unfortunately his measurements were incredibly inaccurate, resulting in a delay of the entire groomsmen order. These are the measurements I was given at Hamilton Douglas: Overarm 50.5 Chest 30 Yoke 19 Sleeve 31 Waist 35 Hips 39 My actual measurements, as provided by another tailor, are as follows: Jacket length 28.5 Chest 41 Sleeve 23 Waist 34.5 Shoulders 19 The discrepancy between the sleeve and chest measurements is bizarre and HD's mistake caused significant delay in the groom's jacket order.

I'm so glad I found Betzabe Pujaico Designs. They were able to fix this beautiful gown meant for a 5'10" model to fit this 5'2" girl just in time for my friends wedding. You can select from numerous letter-sizes or send a message with your measurements. Since everything is handmade, adjustments can be made to fit each size. If I remeember correctly, I think the piece I bought was marketed as a top/dress but I wore it as a beach cover up. I loved the lime green colour and the light material. Although the lime green was the primary colour, the other colours toned it down so it was not overly dramatic. It was perfect for a windy day on a boat. On the website, prices are clearly marked and depending on how much you spend, free shipping is offered. Along with the dress pictured, I also ordered a comfie ankara print romper, which I gifted to my sister. She loved it. Deborah makes one of a kind pieces that can complement any body, for any occasion. She can also turn your visions into an incredible outfit. She is a talented seamstress and creative fashion designer. I highly recommend her.

I got on Yelp and searched for someone else and came across Deborah's business page. Even though she didn't have any reviews, the pictures on her page caught my attention. From the moment I called to yesterday when I picked up my pants, she has always been pleasant and attentive. She is a true professional and expert seamstress as sometimes she simply eyed what needed to be done and it was a perfect fit during the fitting. If you do not know what you want made, her shop has some pre-made African attire. While that is her specialty, that is not all that does. I have seen some pictures where she has designed and made prom dresses. She is the real deal!!! I will certainly be back. I am already scouting new material to get something made for my son and I. The ladies were so accommodating of my last minute alteration need. I came in with an extremely detailed Terry Costa evening gown with hand sewn sequins and a train I no longer wanted. I had already been turned down by another popular well-known fabric store in the Hialeah area because of the amount of work it would entail. Tilde Alterations not only fixed the dress, but did it in record time, less than 2 weeks! The alteration was perfect. The train was gone and the sequin pattern was preserved with impeccable hand sewn edges. Will be back for all future alterations. Worth every penny. Highly Recommend.
