Horrible. Zero stars. Owner made insulting comments about people being desperate liars, clearly assuming I was one of them, and even told me that bad reviews don't matter. Three of my dry cleaned items worth over $300 were lost while in their possession. Pickup was only 5 days past her stated deadline, and when I reached out, the owner insinuated that I must have picked them up and forgot, even though her own system showed the items were still there. She also said she does not have to reimburse me after 30 days, refusing to take any responsibility. She promised to call me back after giving herself a week to locate my items and never did. Ultimately, she refused to reimburse both the cleaning costs and the value of the lost clothing. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability was shocking. I was treated with disrespect instead of honesty and responsibility. Update: Clothing Solutions made incorrect accusations in their response claiming pickup was a month and a half past due. This is inaccurate. Pickup was only 5 days past the owner's 30-day deadline. They also claimed it was one dress when it was really three items totaling over $300. I do not recommend this business and caution others. read more

I was recommended by a friend to do my wedding alterations here and I could not have done better! I had purchased a dress online (knowing that it would need alterations) and what I received was very different from the online picture, but the alterations team was not scared and handled this challenging dress so amazingly? The before and after photos are just miraculous!!! There were tons of mystery layers and they completely reconstructed the back- but no one would ever know on my wedding day!! They also beaded my bridal bathing-suit (for my unique water wedding) and made sure that it fit perfectly under the dress. Did not use the dry cleaners but I did have a dress altered. There are two ladies seamstresses here. I believe they don't charge the same as they are independent workers. One is definitely more expensive. They do good work and in a timely manner. The shop is conveniently located just off of I75 at the Indian Trace exit. The parking is a bit cramped as the shopping center is small and there are a few restaurants in the plaza taking up many spots. read more

I had a few uniform pieces that needed altering and since recently moving to the area within the past year, I went based off of the great reviews. I came in on a weekday early afternoon and was fitted right away. The shop is quaint and you can tell they have their steady clientele by the amount of laundered clothes hanging up. My 3 pieces cost a little more than what I'm used to paying, but the alterations were done seamlessly and all fit great. My overall experience with this place was not good or as pleasant as one would hope for when getting a dress altered. The seamstress had limited patience which lead to my impression of her being rude with an attitude. I paid over $200+ for a slit, sewing the straps back, sew the cups in place, hem, and fixing the front to not have cleavage. Granted it was a challenging dress to work with being chiffon but in the end I was not happy with the work and was self conscious about my cleavage because the straps weren't sewed the best or the front was not done well. read more

In response to your customer feedback reply, which supports my impression that you feel neither a need to take responsibility for your shoddy workmanship, nor exhibit an attitude condusive to quality customer service, I only write reviews for extremely good and / or extremely bad experiences. I don't feel compelled to write reviews for lukewarm service. Your flawed logic to attempt to undermine my opinion doesn't hold any weight. I met with top aircraft interior designers, for customers spending $45M-$75M in that suit. I think I would be aware of existing "scratches" on a Calvin Klein suit which was only 6 months old. We travel over an hour to have our clothes tailored at Clothing Solutions. Over the past 6 years we had prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, gowns, suits and other important items tailored. This is the only shop I trust with my clothing. They are professional, prompt and I feel that the prices are very reasonable given the level of expertise needed for some of our designer items. Edit in response to the owners reply: First, you have not messaged me back since June 10th when you said the dress was ready for pick up. You did not answer my messages from June 11th or June 14th. If you tried to, they never sent and I never received them. I have added a picture to show my messages with no response. Second, the hook while it may have been weak, was not broken when I dropped it off and was broken when I picked it up and I did say that I was happy they fixed it while I waited. The biggest problem I had was the tears in the shoulders. Which were part of the alterations I paid for and they were torn before I even put the dress on when I picked it up, so that has nothing to do with the dress being tight. If the fabric was too thin and at risk of tearing, it should not have been messed with and we should have discussed that when you recommended the shoulders be brought down. Additionally, we decided not to let the dress out because it fit and zipped okay, not because there was a lack of fabric to use. I understand this year has been tough on small businesses, however as an alterations business I feel you should anticipate and prepare for things like prom season and summer weddings and then be honest upfront about having too many alterations for your staff to handle, instead of having staff rushing through jobs and possibly making mistakes. Also, I think it would be a good choice to make your sign and refund policy more clear. I do wish your business luck, as you all seemed to be kind women, I just hope you find a better way to handle stressful seasons so that your quality of work is consistent. Original post: I was happy to find an alterations shop that seemed to be well run... so I thought. I have tried to contact the store multiple times to try to resolve the issues I will detail below, with no answer. I also have messaged the owner of the store through yelp and I can see that she has read my messages and has chosen not to respond. First, I messaged the owner through yelp asking for an estimate for a hem job on a dress (I included pictures). She gave me an estimate of $50-$70. She ended up charging me $75 for the hem job, I feel she should have honored her estimate and not gone above $70. I decided to let the $5 go. The owner also recommended I get the shoulders brought down as well for $30. I brought the dress in on June 5th and needed it by June 11th. The owner told me I needed to pay a $10 rush fee. At the time, I didn't notice the sign on the wall that says a $3+ rush fee will be charged for 48 hours notice. Seeing as I was far outside the 48 hours, I'm not sure why I was charged a $10 rush fee, or two $5 rush fees (how it appears on my receipt). When I picked up my dress, the hem was okay. I wouldn't call it a great job as the sew line was uneven in some places, but it was a decent hem job. However, the hook on the back of the dress somehow was torn off. When I brought it to their attention, they fixed it while I waited. My biggest problem was the torn shoulders. Thankfully, I decided to try the dress on before taking it home. When I took it out of the bag, both shoulders had small tears in them. I showed the seamstress and she said she would fix it. I told her I was nervous the 1 inch tears were going to get worse as I wore the dress and they had no answer for me. The tear did continue to get worse as I wore the dress, and now I'm left with sleeves with 4-5 inch long tears in them. I am super disappointed because I really liked this expensive dress and now I feel like I paid $112 for someone to rush and do a sloppy job on it, causing it to tear. Also, if you read the sign on their wall, the "refund policy" makes no sense. It seems that if they mess up your clothing and they can't fix it (like the tears in my $160 dress), you don't get anything back. I wish the owner would have responded to my messages, because I really don't like leaving negative reviews, but I am super unhappy with the service and will not be returning. read more

Terrible service, terrible dry cleaning. I won't be back again for their great alterations. If you get your clothes altered, I'm sure you'll keep coming back like I did. But if you have a problem, don't expect Cindy to listen or care. I stepped inside with my ruined garment and she didn't even let me speak. She dismissed, denied, and then resorted to low-blow insults. I'll spend hundreds a year somewhere else before she will get another dime. Her behavior was not only shocking, it was straight up psychopathic. The item needed repair from poor construction, and had been in need of dry cleaning. But when I got it back, there were crystalline chemical residues and each and every one of them pulled the blue color from the dye. She refused to even look. Just said, "no no no. This garment was terrible when you brought it" It was terribly in need of being dry cleaned and it was terribly in need in having the lining redone, as the manufacturer constructed it too close to the edge causing it to fray and separate. I pleaded with her to stop yelling and please validate my concern. At that point she resorted to insulting, which will cost her my business and the business of all my coworkers who go there. She said, and I kid you not, "your garment smelled so bad I had to hold my nose while I fixed the lining" I have never been so insulted in my life! Regardless of whether it smelled, (and worn clothes in need of cleaning generally do) it didn't have dry cleaning chemicals and dye pulled when I brought it in. It's not rocket science that dry-clean only means I can't wash it myself. Obviously it's not going to smell good. The kicker is, I didn't want her to give me back money or anything. All I wanted was an explanation. How can this happen? To take ownership of what happened and reassure me. I guess she has too many customers and doesn't need money. No attempt to keep my business. She has not replied to a single negative review on yelp or google. Wait just one reply, gaslighting another unhappy customer. If you ask me, she was trying to lose my business. What she doesn't know is my office is 200 people, who all wear suits and need alterations and dry cleaning. I've already told the ones who go there what happened. And she won't get a single referral from me either. Bad business. Bad service. Bad owner. Bad dry cleaning. Great alterations. read more

Beware! They suck! I've been a customer for a year only because of proximity to my home. They've broken buttons on dresses. I've had to take things back multiple times to have stains removed that they kept missing. And for the grand finale, they just lost an entire order of 3 Business shirts and two dress slacks. After a week of them dodging our calls, I show up, and they yelled at us as we tried to get an explanation of what happened. The owner immediately started pointing to the legal sign on the wall stating they only have to provide compensation if we provide our original receipt and said some very nasty comments as we were still in short canon our way out. (Pictures of the family who owns the business was nice to see). - Purchased a discount coupon featured on Clothing Solutions' Yelp page. I also visited their website and downloaded some other coupons. - Made a visit to Clothing Solutions and dropped off a few items to have cleaned. Very friendly and efficient service at the front. Clean and well organized shop (kind of rare for a dry cleaners) - Picked up my stuff and was happy with the results and impressed by another friendly and efficient customer experience. - Shared my experience on Yelp, hoping to bring more good folks to visit the good folks at Clothing Solutions. I think one of the owners was at the front at pick- up. I told him of my Yelp-stalking and purchase of their coupon. He laughed when he saw a picture of his family on the coupon print out. "Why did they pick that picture instead of one of the shop," he said. I told him that I liked the family-owned kind of feel of the advertising and it was one of the reasons why I chose Clothing Solutions. He smiled.
