I have been here with friends and family multiple times, but today is an experience I won't forget…read more All I asked for was a gel manicure. I even brought a photo. I walked in with my own healthy, square long nails. No acrylic, no tips, my nails. The woman even commented on what nice healthy nails I had. Then she commended cutting them all off. All I needed was a change of color. I started shaking as soon as she cut the first nail off. I literally cried that it was too short. She said she was sorry and then said she had to even them out. She still painted the design I originally wanted, even though there was barely a nail left to paint it on. The worst part of all is the nails aren't even the same the length as each other, there's polish on my fingers and it will take months for them to grow back. It was truly awful.

Mike may not smile a lot, but he doesn't not not allow you to pick a specific technician. There were times when I would call and he would tell me that they would not be available for the day I picked, but they were the next day. I've in customer service and you cannot please everyone. One thing I know is that Mike is an owner and he works hard. Could he smile more, yes, but I've seen him open up to me and a few other regulars. I've never loved getting my nails done more in a place where everyone sees you and smile, even though they're wearing mask, you can tell. Oh, and my technician also talks to me about everything in life and when I have a question about getting Mike and my technician talk to me about it. I've never been in a nail salon where they actually like you. LoL give them a try.

This is essentially vital if you're getting french tips, as they don't paint them on, they use french tip gel to last longer and look more "bright white". There are maybe a handful of technicians with this stellar skillset. I got a gift certificate to this place right after we were allowed to go outside again after the pandemic. Had just a basic gel manicure and a pedicure and fell in love. They give you really nice massages and the atmosphere is relaxing. Again, they strive to have you in and out without having you feel rushed - because let's be honest, everyone's time is valuable. The facility is very clean, and they are sure to ask you all the questions you'd expect; nail length, shape, size - right down to double checking your color. It's important to note that they book up really fast, and very rarely have time for walk-ins because of this. If you want to be serviced, make an appointment in advance so Mike can get you in and not have to worry about you missing out on a service you want in addition. Happy manis and pedis!
