I schedule a nail appointment every two weeks and have been quoted the same price inclusive of my eyebrow treatment. If Christine is unavailable, she will reach out and if you want to another tech to service you, she offers that. I have had treatment from "Tweety" and Victoria and my nails ALWAYS come out AMAZING!! Not even 4 days after I had them painted, the polish is already coming off my finger nails. You can see in the picture where it's gone. Plus the polish is yellowing. My toe nails I had painted and they are already showing signs of the polish getting ready to peel off. Also I was charged $5 for regular nail polish, not gel or dip or anything fancy. I guess that's new, I find it very cheap on their part. This place used to be solid but is slipping. For the price overall not bad. Been here a few times. It was 70$ for my gel manicure + shaping (including 10$ tip). I ended up going back to have the nails fixed because they were really thick and the edges of the nails weren't painted... I googled this but it's called "capping them". Every time the owner has done my nails, they've been beautiful. The latest time there was a significant gap between the nail polish and the cuticle meaning they looked 1 week grown out from the moment I walked out of the salon. Service was awful. The lady that always has a dog was so rude to me after she charged me $10 extra. She said she will not talk to me anymore. This place is also so gross and dirty. They were using old dirty brushes on my nail. I will never come back here. They charged me $50 for a fill? and she was lying to me multiple times first it was bc my nails are long, when so had asked for nails as short as possible. and then she said they charged $20 just for the gel. their menu says $10 extra for gel. She lied to me, was rude to me, blocked my number, and this is the worst experience I ever had at a nail salon. I had just white paint. 0/100 experience. Not the greatest experience and hope they can improve on it Let me tell you, I was super excited to try out a new nail place. Walking in I was greeted, but the longer I stayed it felt like the tech was rushing more and more and became more uninviting and inattentive as she was trying to multitask. Very unprofessional as I felt like the experience of getting my nails done at many different locations far surpassed this one her. this may be the worst one. Through it all she had my hand set on a nasty wet towel that did not seem sanitary. I felt unseen and unheard as a customer. The salon if self is clean and beautiful but certain things stood out to me that I hope they can improve on. Once the bowl for my fingers to soak in was finished she dumps the water in the trash can and proceeds to throw the bowl behind her, same thing for when she got me another towel. I was given a fresh towel to wipe my hands. As soon as I was done she throws it behind her. Didn't clean off the powder, she did not take off all the powder before beginning to paint. I couldn't recall her name but seems like she was either a manager or the owner. To say the least not only was the experience unpleasant but the result of what I paid for was extremely disappointing. I've tried so many places and this one is the best! I recommend making an appointment because they are almost always busy, but I'm a reformed nail biter who typically bites or picks off any manicure - gel, powder, etc. I'm not sure exactly what they do differently but my nails stay fresh for ~ 3 weeks without any chipping both with gel or powder. Usually I have to get them done every 2 weeks but now I can go up to 3 weeks. The staff is so friendly and great at what they do. Christine is also excellent at brow waxing too. BUYER BEWARE! Very bad and greedy people who charge more than price listed. Liars. I called for UV gel nail full set pricing and told it was starting at $50 for basic. Went and the Yung said "No, its $60, go check the brochure". This I did and it said $50, and showed her...she said absolutely nothing. She had also said a UV fill in was $50 while again in brochure said $35. At check out, owner Kristie charged me $60 for a basic UV gel full set of nails with basic red polish. Pointed out to her the price in her brochure, and she said," because I got polish it is $10 extra". This is my new go to spot for pedicures in Middletown. It's not perfect, by any means. They're almost always understaffed, and I've had to wait a couple times even when I've had an appointment. There must be at least 10-15 pedicure chairs in the place, but the most people I've ever seen working at one time is 4. I don't understand the huge salon with no employees! But the spa pedicure is reasonably priced at $35 (plus tax), and their polishes are not watered down. Even though they rush you through a spa pedicure in 30 minutes or less, my toes look perfect for 2 weeks. That's the most important part. You know that feeling of finding a good nail salon (nails are perfect, the pedicure is relaxing and looks great afterwards) but after a few visits the service starts to decline and you're less than pleased with the service? This is what has happened to me sadly. Atmosphere: Relaxing for the most part, they are usually playing HGTV or a cooking show on the tv or classical music. Service: The first 3-4 times I visited, the service was exceptional. My nails came out really nice. The nail tech took her time and was very friendly. I usually get a pedicure with each nail service and I got the spa pedicure that includes more than the regular pedicure. The last 3 visits have been less than stellar. The gel polish on my nails had bubbles in the gel the next day due to rushing when applying it, both pedicures were rushed and my polish chipped about 4 days later. That literally never happens on my toes! They have a lot of ppl coming in because they are new and I understand it's a business and you want to make money, but not take on so many customers and then rush to give lackluster service. I'm going to give them one more chance and will decide if I'll keep going to find a new place. read more

So this was my 5th time here and started out happy which is why I returned having just moved to Middletown. My friend and I called for appts and were told to come at 4:45. I then wasn't even taken until 5:30. She was told they could only do one of us cuz of time. Not only did we watch them then take 4 other walk-ins (one for a pedicure), the main lady in charge was extremely off-putting and took "regulars" who came in due to messing up their nails/having a crack! Decided to try a new place to get dip nails done and greatly regretted it. Tweety who was the supposedly a manager there kept intervening with my technician on what we can and cannot do. Every idea I had she tried to squash because of the poor selection of dip colors. When I told her to please stop intervening she starts to argue with me and her nasty client felt she could intervene as well.. It took everything for me not to make a big scene. Nonetheless you don't argue with customers like that .. You help them out and as a manager .. horrible !! I am so impressed with this nail spa. I will never go anywhere else after my experience there yesterday. First of all, an employee whose name was Victoria I believe, did such a good job on my pedicure. She was so meticulous with making sure no paint was on my skin and the shape of nails were all perfectly even. I also got a full set of acrylic tips which I was a little hesitant about because I have seen some horror pictures and I wanted them to be shaped very naturally. The owner of the salon ended up doing my nails and she did SUCH a good job. She even kept the salon open an extra half hour past closing time to make sure my nails were exactly how I wanted them. The bottom line: I recommend this salon and will be returning regularly. The deets: This salon has only been open for a month, so everything is shiny, clean and new. It is beautiful inside and there is plenty of room. The staff who were there (and presumably the owner?) were very friendly and understood my requests. They offer coffee, tea, and water. Now down to the nails- I had a gel fill and gel polish. They did a good job and it took the usual amount of time. I did make an appointment and they promptly took me in when I arrived. Right now they are running 20% off services, so it cost me $32 for the fill and polish, which is excellent. I had been paying $48 previously. When the 20% off promotion is over, it will be $40 for a gel fill with gel polish, or $30 for gel fill and regular polish. Update: I've been getting the SNS dip powder, which is "better" for your nails the last few times I have gone in. It's completely worth it and lasts far longer, looks better, and is healthier for your nail than gel polish. There is no extra dry time and no UV lights. I highly recommend trying it out. read more

I am so happy I came to Pearl - best experience I have ever had at a nail salon!!! It's big, bright and beautiful inside, and the staff is so polite and friendly. Everything is super clean and new since they just opened. I walked in on a Friday afternoon and was instantly taken care of. Christine was an absolute perfectionist on my nails and they came out amazing! She took her time to make sure my nails came out perfect and that I was fully satisfied, which I really appreciated as this is not the case with most nail salons. I had her remove the SNS powder I had done at another salon and just had her do a regular manicure, and I'm in love - my natural nails have never looked this good! I was really nervous that taking the SNS off would destroy my nails, but she was so careful in removing it that they came out great. When my nails were drying I was reading a magazine and Christine came over to check on my nails. She told me they were dry so I got up to leave, but she encouraged me to relax and read the magazines for as long as I wanted. I found this so nice since most salons usually kick you out of the door as soon as you're done! Overall I had a 10/10 experience and would highly recommend - I will definitely be going back!! We have gone here several times since the new ownership. I wish I could give them less than a 1 star. We will Not be returning. Very rude to my teenage girls. Ended up cutting my youngest daughters finger( She is 12, he said she was moving, and she was not) she asked for a rebase he told her no, ended up doing a rebase but charging her for a full set. Her nails were put on crooked, bubbles in the acrylic, sharp edges and very globy paint.we went back down there to get them fixed, waited over 40 minutes and he still did not have time to fix them.
