From the start, he was honest, thorough, and transparent. He took the time to explain everything clearly and never once tried to upsell us on things we didn't need. We decided to replace both our AC system and gas furnace (after the furnace died on the morning of the first blizzard!) with new American Standard units, and Gill gave us a very fair and reasonable price. While Warrior may not have had "7 trucks ready to finish the job in one day" like some of the larger companies promised, Gill and his team focused on doing the work the right way -- with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. What really stood out was the customer service. Gill even helped us install and set up a new smart thermostat I had purchased myself. It's rare these days to find contractors who are both skilled and genuinely trustworthy. We'll absolutely be calling Gill again for any future HVAC needs, and we highly recommend Warrior Heating and Cooling!

They walked by a brand new gas system in my home..disengaged a second gas heating 50 feet away and installed a unit that is costing me a thousand dollars a month. Not one of the employees ...installers. or project estimators...addressed what a poor and unkind decision this was. Now I have to redo my heating system...sell my house...unable to retire . Would they do the same to their mothers..grandmothers? This is a sad and sorry company. Yes I know I'm a stupid elderly woman with no recourse from people like this. And the answer would be no. Matt is actually, legitimately, professionally that good. A rare combination of quick service, friendly demeanor, and professional expertise in approaching plumbing and mechanical challenges. As anyone who's ever had to deal with complex mechanical or plumbing projects knows, there's always more than one way to approach a problem, and Matt's creative and thoughtful approach to these situations is a great way to ensure the work gets done well and within budget. I've used Matt for both servicing of heat pumps and installation of whole house water filters and all situations Matt's been fast, effective, and reasonable on pricing. Compare that other larger providers with longer turnaround times and a litany of subcontractors feeding their over-capitalized organizations where you can't actually interact with another human being without a corporate iPad price quote for services you don't need and a markup, you don't want to pay intrinsically involved. Here's a professional who's legitimately interested in understanding the project and doing the work well.

I was having problems with my boiler where it was making unusual gurgling noises. James's expertise and attention to detail was clear when he was able to identify the underlying issues with the system. He was great at explaining the issues and what needed to be fixed to me. I appreciated that he took the time to answer all my questions. The system had degraded over time due to acidic antifreeze that was installed by the previous owners resulting in leaks in various valves. There was pretty extensive and systemic damage but James was able to overhaul the entire boiler in half a day. Now the system is running as good as new. James and Total Comfort Mechanical have my confidence and I highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.

I called 128 Plumbing about one cracked drain pipe. I was told my entire house needed to be…read morerepiped. The estimate (#435094323) was $30,275 to demo every wall and ceiling necessary, disconnect first- and second-floor bathrooms, toilets and sinks, and replace the main stack. That was presented to me as the only option -- no alternatives, no phasing, nothing. And it did not include the roughly $6,000 I'd need to close the walls back up and reinstall fixtures, or the ~$400 roofer I'd have to hire and coordinate myself. Their own estimate puts the hole repair on the customer in writing. All in: nearly $37,000. Meanwhile my first-floor tenant was told she couldn't use her bathroom or her kitchen. When I hesitated at the number, I was told that at least if I sold the house I'd "have retail value." That's the line that made me stop and get a second opinion. Thompson Plumbing came out, found the actual leak -- old hubbed cast iron serving the kitchen -- and repiped it. $2,995. My final invoice was $3,420, and that included an unrelated frost-free silcock I added on. My toilet was fine. My kitchen sink was fine. My tenant's kitchen and bathroom were fine. Not one wall was demoed. Same house. Same leak. Ten percent of the price. I'm not going to speculate about why the two assessments were so far apart. I'll just say this: if 128 Plumbing tells you your house needs a $30,000 repipe, get a second quote before you sign anything. I nearly didn't, and it would have cost me thirty-three thousand dollars I did not need to spend.

He came out quickly and resolved the issue. As winter came the same HVAC failed again so I had Pedro back out to review. At 35 years old the system really was beyond value to repair and I got a great rate to install a whole new system by Imperium. But this is why I highly rate Imperium Cooling & Heating the most. During the install one of the sub-contracted employees of his doing the job tried to give me a deal on an 'off the books' service to a mini-split system on our attic room. This individual caused damage to the condenser but had me spend hundreds, cash in hand with his trial-and-error attempts to repair the head unit (which was not faulty) and in the end insisted I needed to replace the whole thing (remember, this unscruipulous idiot broke it in the first place). All this happened over weeks while this guy continued working for Imperium and put me at the bottom of his priorities. As luck would have it, there was a small issue with the new HVAC and Perdro came out same day. Great service. So I took this chance to explain what had occurred with one of his guys. Apparently, I am not the only one impacted by this individual and he had been fired by Imperium (quite rightly) and Pedro was doing a lot of damage limitation to the reputation of his company caused by this less than ethical sub-contractor. So, for that reason more than any I highly recommend Imperium Cooling & Heating. They have great rates, put customers first and do not retain employees who seek to damage their reputation. I have had Pedro out on 4 occasions, all great services. The last was replacing the mini-split, done in one day, done well and done at a great price. 5 Stars for sure.
