Rinat transforms how your home feels and functions. She has designed multiple projects for me - 3 NYC apartments, a renovated 100yr old Tudor house in Chicago, and our new house in Dallas. Every time, each detail felt tailored --practical, inviting and thoughtfully designed. She adapted as my family needs evolved and worked hard to highlight the architecture of our homes. She's never been anything less than professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in the outcome of projects. I highly recommend her & do so often to friends & family. read more

Her contractor Shlomi Bros Handywork ( Merrick, Long Island ) worked on my ceiling. He replaced the popcorn surface with a plain matte coat of paint. After 1 month of finishing the job there is now a huge crack where the ceiling meets the wall and the paint is literally flaking off. When confronted, a triggered Shlomi proceeded to gaslight and yell at me with the excuse that the building "must have shifted" or that I must have "slammed the front door" to cause the damage! After agreeing to come back to make the repair he has essentially ghosted me because an automated "I will call you back" message pops up whenever I call. In addition, there are white paint marks over all the gold hardware on the doors and on the brand new wood floors as if his workers never bothered to put painters tape to protect these surfaces. I mean, seriously? Rinat has called only once to ask if Shlomi has returned to repair the ceiling and has ghosted me as well. If they are working as partners then she needs to also be held accountable. read more

Very not recommended. After taking a large amount of money upfront, the person disappeared in the middle of the project with no explanation or follow-up. Communication was extremely poor, and the overall service was very unprofessional. What should have been a simple process turned into a frustrating experience. read more

I would like to submit my vote of confidence in working with Tahar Decor for my decorating needs in regards to apartments, dining rooms, bedrooms, and all throughout your house or apartment, because I'm very satisfied with my consultation. Rinat was very personable, professional, and skilled in explaining the layout of my apartment and really helped me pull together the design of what I was looking for. We discussed styles, things that interest me I would envision for the apartment, where things would go, what is available, and overall really just a pleasant experience as we created the places together. I have full faith for people who are looking for an interior designer to reach out and converse with Tahar Decor about what they need, after speaking together, I feel like you will make the right choice in working together. read more

It was such a pleasure to work with Rinat on my master bedroom and living room. First off, I didn't intend to have her decorate my bedroom but she recommended that I do that first so I have a haven to escape to after work and boy, was she right. I love unwinding in my bedroom every night thanks to her and smile when I wake up in the morning. The living room came out beautifully. We get so many compliments from family and friends. Don't be intimidated to reach out because despite how high end she makes everything look, she'll work within your budget. She is awesome and I can't wait to chip away at more rooms in my house soon. read more

Rinat is a miracle worker and I would HIGHLY recommend her for anyone looking for interior design help! I moved to NYC earlier this year (from out of state), and Rinat stood out significantly from the other firms I had met with - she was extremely warm and made me comfortable about moving forward with her, despite the fact that I didn't have a clear cut vision. I was looking to move immediately, and she turned around a proposal in record time after I spoke to her and then promptly started placing orders. She then handled EVERYTHING - took measurements, ordered custom drapes, received the furniture deliveries, had her handywoman install everything, etc. She even dealt with swapping out my couch when the first one was too big. The bulk of the work got done before I moved here, so my new apartment immediately felt like home upon arriving in the city - it felt like a total dream! I look forward to working with Rinat again in the future. :) read more

Rinat is a true gem! I moved into a rental apartment with an unusual layout and had no idea where to start. Rinat was flexible to my needs, extremely kind, and was a pleasure to work with as she helped me furnish my apartment. She has terrific taste, and even more importantly, understood mine and helped me curate a design that fit my aesthetic goals. She's super responsive and easy to work with. Rinat did our first apartment 4 years ago. We were so happy with the results and her amazing personality, that we decided to hire her again! This time , the challenge we gave her was very different... (in addition to the fact that my husband and I have different tastes in design :) ) We asked her to furnish and decorate a big house we were building in remote control outside the country. The work included choosing tiles, colors, furniture, working with a local carpenter remotely, decorations etc.. It involved heavy logistics : traveling few times abroad to see the house and help, choosing all the furniture and decorations at once- without the option to return them. It had to be the right items at the right sizes- as we were shipping them abroad- with no option to return. At the beginning, friends and family were doubting if this would work, and suggested to take someone local. But we couldn't think of doing our house with anyone else but Rinat. Rinat did it all like a pro - and more! The process of furnishing, decorating and even managing logistics was a great and unique experience, all thanks to Rinat's amazing professionalism. She was totally committed to this project! One of the things that impressed us the most was that it took Rinat 2 weeks (from the time the furniture arrived) to create a catalog-style house that matches both our tastes, feels warm, fun and most importantly kid-friendly. We were super happy with the results! I highly recommend Rinat for any interior home design- big or small, especially if you want something beautiful, unique and livable! We even went ahead and booked her to design the future baby room read more

The reaction we get from people that walk into our apartment is one of awe. Rinat has a special talent of turning any space into something truly beautiful and amazing. Her professionalism and personality won us over from the moment we met her, and not to mention her portfolio as well. We had no idea where to start at all with our gut renovated 2-bedroom apartment. We just knew the style we liked, but that was pretty much it. We had no furniture, nothing to start with at all. After a lengthy screening process of many decorators, our decision to go with Tehar Décor did not come easily, our high standards and high expectations paid off in the end with Rinat! Rinat specializes in contemporary styles, and her ability to do this with almost any budget is what makes her so talented. We continue to highly recommend her services to both our family and friends with the utmost confidence that she would deliver a beautiful home. What began as a hired professional decorator ended as a lifelong friend, it is this type of personal service one gets when hiring Rinat. Thank You Rinat!!! read more

Rinat was a joy to collaborate with on my first home. I had just moved to New York and was finding it so hard to appropriately furnish and decorate my space. For months I tried on my own but was getting nowhere. I even interviewed over 5 decorators but none of them came close to the passion, detail, and flexibility that Rinat offered me. She made my home one others would envy and for this I do not have enough words. I was very meticulous about certain things, but I found that as I gradually let go, Rinat expanded my tastes to a degree that I would not have thought possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Tahar Decor and I absolutely look forward to hiring her for my future home! read more

Working with Rinat was a pleasure. I was moving from SF to NYC with no furniture and wanted to move into a fully furnished studio apartment by the time I arrived. I showed Rinat a handful of photos that I had for inspiration and she was 100% on the dot when she surmised that my aesthetic was boho chic. She put together a mock up of what pieces she had in mind for each area of my apartment and once everything had been approved of she went ahead and ordered the pieces. Since I was not in NYC yet, Rinat made sure pieces would arrive in a timely fashion so that she would be able to set everything up for me. When I landed and arrived at my apartment I was greeted by a beautiful and comfortable apartment that I could immediately rest in. Working with Rinat made the moving process so much easier and I'd work with her again in a heartbeat. read more

I recently moved to New York from Tel Aviv and Rinat did my place. It was very important for me to have a place I can feel at home away from home and I can host friends and family when they come visit - Rinat delivered big time, the place is beautifully designed, very comfortable, homey and expensive looking but on a budget, truly a gifted designer! In addition to an amazing result - the process was also fun, from the first moment I knew Rinat is someone I can trust with my eyes closed, she did it like it was her own apartment and gave me the peace of mind I needed as my work is very demanding, she finished before the deadline and gave me a real show when I walked into the house. I am truly envy of Rinat's next customer, it is a great result and experience that will make you hug her 20 times like I did. read more

Rinat is just wildly talented, creative and flexible. We had a small space to work with and a somewhat limited budget and she made it work. She is a perfectionist and her designs reflect that. And the cherry on the top - we just had to share our preferences, she did the rest: ordering, unpacking, installing, painting, putting things away and arranging. Full white glove service for an affordable fee. She came highly recommended and I now know why and happy to recommend her to others. read more

Rinat is an absolute gem. She has beautiful taste, is incredibly easy to work with and goes above and beyond. I'd give her 10 stars if the rating allowed. She was under budget on our project and the results were fantastic. Her warm energy made what could have been a stressful time (during Covid) fun. I am beyond grateful for her help designing, ordering, organizing and installing our upper west side apartment. read more

I am posting this review, because it is important to recognize great work and service when it's due. My wife and I recently purchased a single-family home on Long Island and we decided to do some renovations to the interior. The thought of the process was arduous in itself, and the my wife mentioned that she knew someone who had an interior design business and her name was Rinat. After viewing her portfolio and catalog of work, we made a decision to hire rinat to help us design our dream home. We spent several years living in Manhattan and we loved the modern design of new development. We never thought we would be able to achieve that look in a suburban home. Rinat, through her attention to detail, keen design sense and most of all attention to her client, helped us design our dream home and we are extremely happy with the end result. If you are looking to just design a small space or complete an entire home renovation like we did, I highly recommend you contact Rinat at Tahar Decor! read more

At first I wasn't sure if we should take an interior decorator, as we have a 6-month old baby girl and I was skeptic whether you can design something truly beautiful, yet baby-friendly. A colleague of mine recommended us to go for it despite the concerns, and particularly to take Rinat to do the job. Once my wife and I met her it was a done deal - Rinat has a unique and pleasant personality, which we felt was crucial for the task. Eventually, the result of the match was beyond all expectations - a month later and we live in a fully furnished and beautifully decorated 2-bedroom apartment, that we just love to live in! The decoration was done within the budget that was defined in advance, not trivial considering the fact that the apartment was totally empty to begin with. One of the things that mostly impressed us is that not only she created a feel of a high-end catalog-style apartment that matches our taste, but she was also able to make it feel warm, cheerful and most importantly kid-friendly. The process of furnishing and decorating the apartment was a great and unique experience, all thanks to Rinat's amazing professionalism. She was totally committed to the project, which was a very important point considering we both work full-time throughout the day. An additional challenge that Rinat handled with great success, was the fact that my wife and I do not share the same taste at all, and she was able to create something we both really love and appreciate in the day-to-day life. We were a little sad when the project came to an end... but we'll surely hire her services for our next home. I highly recommend Rinat for any interior home design, especially if you want something beautiful, unique and yet livable! read more

When I found Rinat from Tahar Decor, I had just purchased my first condo and was having immediate buyers' remorse. Rinat promised me that she was going to make my place where I love it, and that's exactly what she did. Rinat is a very special designer who has the ability to connect with her clients immediately and can match you to the look that you ultimately want (even without you knowing that it's the look that you ultimately want haha). Rinat's creativity, unique design ability, patience (I've been a handful lol), professionalism, kindness, and understanding has meant the world to me and has made all of the difference in changing what was initially a big mistake, into a home! I feel like I not only got an amazing designer, but I also feel that I've made a lifelong friend. Thank you SO much Rinat!! I highly recommend! read more

When we bought our house, I had all my friends tell me how it should b an exciting time for me with the decorating coz like them I had probably been planning the decor for months. However, I had nothing. No pictures, no color ideas, nothing. Overwhelmed is how we felt. That was when we hired Rinat to do our living room and dining room for us and she just brought in pure magic. Not only was she available for us whenever we needed her, she was able to listen to the little bits of aesthetic I had in my head and put it all together. Bringing on a decorator I was worried that the artist in her might not take my critic easily but she was amazing. From creating a vision and a mood board to finding me pieces I instantly fell in love with and everything within our pre decided budget. Thank you Rinat for making our dream home come to life and for doing it so effortlessly for us. read more

We had been living in NYC for 15 years in multiple apts and have always had trouble decorating and designing. We were finally buying our own place and agreed we needed some professional help. From the minute we met Rinat I felt a connection and a level of comfort that was critical to a successful working relationship. You end up spending a lot of time with your designer so you need to genuinely like them. We have both and a girl and Rinat did a great job in making each of their rooms reflect their individual personality. They are both thrilled with the outcome and I haven't seen my daughter in days. She has a great ability to listen to your ideas and desired style and put a professional twist to ensure it comes out looking great. She did a fantastic job negotiating price with vendors and coordinating all the deliveries and construction. It allowed my wife and I to continue working and rest assured huge progress was being made during the day. I would highly recommend using Rinat for any of your design needs whether it be 1 room or an entire home. The result will exceed your expectations. read more

A few months ago I moved into a new apartment within the same building: Same line, and pretty much the same exact unit except this one has a large terrace. You would think that having an outdoor space would be an exciting improvement, however, after about a month of living in the new space the apartment started to feel stale and cold. I was getting increasingly frustrated because I was bored and unhappy with how things we coming together. It was impacting my mood tremendously; I found myself unmotivated and much less excited about inviting people into my home. So I went on Craigslist one day and wrote to a few designers. Rinat wrote me back almost immediately and we set an appointment right away! She walked into my space and I immediately felt a huge sense of relief. Immediately I could tell she has such a vibrant and warm personality, and is truly gifted. She took everything I said into consideration before she began to transform the space. And trust me when I say this is truly a transformation! It looks like an entirely new apartment, and I love it! It has been THE BEST experience I have had in years!! We are still adding the final touches and I could not be happier with the results. She is a true professional and has taken such good care of my needs and of my place; She always keeps things organized and clean, and pays such close attention to every detail. She is prompt and reachable every step of the way, and brings along a great service staff with her to help create 'OUR' vision. I could not have done it without her and I can't wait to have my friends and family see my new home, because it truly feels like a home to me, finally. THANK YOU SO MUCH, RINAT! read more

I am extremely happy with my new space..... I have painted and decorated my living room myself at least half a dozen times. And the very first time she walked into my apartment I stepped away for a minute to take a call and by the time I returned she'd begun to rearrange a corner of the living room and instantly made it look so striking and well balanced I knew she was the right person for the job. She help me to understand her style of simplicity and elegance and within a week we were walking around Manhattan looking for additional pieces to bring the space alive. Once we started working together i realize how resourceful she was and she helped me to save money and get some amazing deals. I love my apartment in Brooklyn and yet a part of me is looking forward to when I move and I can give Rinat a new project, just to see what she creates. I wish more people would be as passionate about their work as Rinat, the world would be a much better place. read more
