HellBoy -mildly sweet sauce and "pepperoni"-a lil greasy, was the closest I've ever tasted and replicated the real deal 8.5 out of 10! Vodka- Chunky tomato bits and the "Mozzarella" AMAZING!!! 9 out of 10 Location- Bk Greenpoint, parking can be an issue & area is eclectic The decor- Though I only went there specially for the vegan slices, I can't review much but the place definitely was a pizza shop vibe like back in the day. The Woman taking my order was kind and prompt. I most certainly will return and experience more of the menu!

The interior is rustic with an open concept for a portion of the kitchen where they do wood fire pizza. The Summer Squash Arincini were delicious, very flavorful, and you get 4 or 5 so a nice amount to share. I got the Bronzino and it was a nice portion of fish with the couscous salad. It fills you up without making you feel too heavy. The Salsiccia pizza was ordered by my partner so i didn't have much but the slice I had was a classic thin crust. The tiramisu was great, it had crispy bits of chocolate in top that added a nice texture. There was so much of it tho, we had to take the rest home. Loved the presentation in the cup!

Our server apologized for a delay in taking our drink orders. She was attentive the rest of our meal. I ordered a Charles deGaulle whiskey cocktail. Lemon, aperol and simple syrup added a refreshing twist. For entrees, my wife ordered the pacherri; a simple pork ragu with tender broccoli rabe, Parmesan, stracciatello and basil. The dish was delicious. I enjoyed my plate of sea-inspired tonnarelli nero. Bay scallops in crab ragu with fennel sofrito. Served with squid ink pasta that imparted a slight brininess. The pasta was cooked pangrattato style-- coated in panko bread crumbs and garlic. The dish had many flavors but they all came back to the theme. Cocktail prices and entree prices were very reasonable. They offer happy hour drinks and specials. Certainly a very good choice if you're in the area.

Been going here even before the location switch. here's a recent run down…read more Tomato Pie: Huge fan. four slices. I personally would order this as my meal if I could. room temp, oily, good crunch to soft ratio. Judion Beans: good beans. they are on a similar wavelength as butter beans. honestly I get them for the table for the extra bowl of oil at the bottom to dip the crusts in. Creamy Oregano Salad: very interesting. small shaves of mushroom and fennel. very slight bitter taste. oddly addictive. the olives were my favorite part. i'd consider these friendly olives to those suspicious of olives. and the olives are cut in halves, so easy to pick out. so are the mushrooms. easy split for a table of four. beyond that i'd get two. *ADD ON* pickled chilies: very good. I suggest adding this to the pie. they are green, spicy, delicious, absolutely lovely. Corn Pizza: all together very delicious. my favorite part are the cherry tomatoes on top, which I would really like to be an add on option to other pies. they are the perfect flavor and size. i'm not particularly a tomato fan, especially whole. these are a rare exception. Classic Pizza?: solid, no notes. good as always. My only wish is that they offered a sauce to dip my crust in. they have very good crust, perfect ration of crispy and fluffy. just needs a sauce. Overall, great service, the manager greeted us to check on our meal, our server was attentive, the vibe is great inside.

Solid pizza spot that's consistently very good!…read more Pizzeria Beddia has been a Philly staple for years now, and it always hits. The interior is super hip and trendy! Our server was friendly and food came out hot and fast! Apps: Maitake Burrata and the Lettuce Shaved Veg salad - The salad was decent, but nothing to write home about. Would skip. I loved the burrata! Super creamy and well complemented by the umami flavor of the mushrooms. Mains: Pizza Arrabbiata and Roasted Peppers Pizzas - Both were delicious! If you liked spicy, you'll love the arrabbiata. The cream and cherry pepper vinaigrette on the red pepper pizza was so perfectly savory with a hint of acidity. If you have to go with one, I vote for the red pepper pizza.

cute restaurant in center city with the iconic spicy chicken caesar!…read more all i can say is: spicy chicken caesar. it lives up to the hype, and it is delicious. i've eaten here several times now and none of the other food is particularly memorable, but the spicy chicken caesar is fantastic albeit a little expensive. i really need my boyfriend to learn how to make the spicy chicken caesar so i stop coming back, but it makes for a fantastic girl dinner. most of the times i've come here were either for restaurant week or the spicy chicken caesar. i really don't think it's worth coming for restaurant week, it's kind of a bummer that your whole table has to order the same thing and that you share a lot of the dishes. it ends up being not a whole lot of food, and i did the math and the cost comes out to be about the same. overall, it's a decent restaurant with good service. it's located right in center city with a million other restaurants so it's easily overlooked, but when i think of prunella i think of spicy chicken caesar.

This location had 3 employees behind the counter running all over the place, multiple ones asking what we wanted and not sure who was supposed to be working on what. For it not being busy, it seemed chaotic and more time consuming than it should be. Multiple people were checking on their orders, so there wasn't a good number system/time estimate in place. We got the gnarlic knots which were decently tasting, but since it was to go, we didn't check it before it left. They didn't put on the parm-romano cheese and they didn't include the garlic dipping sauce. It just seemed like the running around not knowing who was going what led to oversight. There are tables to dine in, but it's not too much to expect not to inspect food to go to make sure it's as ordered. It seems like this location was just disorganized and the quality of the food suffered.

Fortunately, I got booked on a flight out the next morning and found a hotel in the city. Other than running to a drug store, my only other time leaving my hotel was to grab dinner at Pizzeria Vetri across the street. I enjoyed the food, the service, and the ambiance. I was immediately seated upon arriving to Pizzeria Vetri. I was asked if I wanted to sit at the bar, at a table, or at the pizza counter. I chose the pizza counter so that I could watch staff making pizzas. As I was there on my own, the serving staff continued to stop by and check on me. The menu includes neopolitan pizzas (12" feeding 1-2 people) and metro pizzas (28" feeding 3-4 people). They make pizzas, calzones, antipasti, and salads. I chose a Neapolitan-style pepperoni pizza consisting of pepperoni, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh oregano. It was quite filling and absolutely delicious! They also sell pizza kits so that you can make your own pizza at home. Pizzeria Vetri was created to celebrate the art of authentic pizza making. They aimed to create simple food made exactly the right way using the best and freshest ingredients served in a space where all are welcome. You can visit the Pizzeria Vetri website (https://www.pizzeriavetri.com) to order online, see menus, details about all four locations as well as to learn about classes, hosting events, and catering options. You can sign up for PV Perks at https://www.pizzeriavetri.com/pv-perks. You earn 25 points for signing up and one point for every dollar spent. You receive a $5 discount for every 50 points redeemed. They also have Happy Hour specials. I certainly enjoyed the experience and would go back again iid in the area.

The undercarriage wasn't great, and the crust was very thin, so there wasn't much dough to enjoy. I may be a little biased because I prefer a thicker pizza. Although the crust was crunchy, nothing about the pizza really stood out to me. I do want to add that I've had their Chicken Parm sandwich with vodka sauce, and it was delightful! That's what made me decide to try their pizza. The Chicken Parm comes with a pickled salad that was so good I still think about it. I gave the restaurant an extra star for the Chicken Parm, even though the pizza was my least favorite.
