After my experience today, they're the only company I'll call to work on my chimneys and woodstoves. I can't recommend them highly enough for cleaning and/or repair jobs! We had a recent chimney fire and requested Chimney Boyz clean that stovepipe and woodstove before we started using it again. When Chris and Gil arrived, I told them details about the fire, and asked them to check for safety issues while they were cleaning. I also pointed out an issue we've had with water leaking in around the stovepipe. Even though I had originally only booked them for a cleaning, Gil and Chris from Chimney Boyz had time to address all my issues while they were here. They replaced a few pieces of the pipe that had dangerously rusted out and sealed the joints in the pipe. They also repaired the flashing on the roof around the stovepipe. They showed me photos of the issues and gave me a ballpark estimate for each repair before they did anything, which I appreciated. Chimney Boyz did both repairs for a very reasonable price, in addition to doing an amazing job cleaning the chimney and stove. They took care of every tiny detail, including scouring the glass in the stove doors, moving the stove over a few inches so the pipe is now straight (for the first time ever!), and even emptying my ash bucket.

Spoke with representative Steff and explained that I had a hard thick glaze of creosote that had ignited in the chimney the previous day. Steff, who was pleasant and professional during our conversation, said she would try to get a technician to my home today. I was quoted a price for the job which was fair and reasonable. Thirty minutes later, a Kiwi utility truck entered my driveway. Technicians Gabe and Regan introduced themselves and I gave them an overview of my woodstove and chimney. They wasted no time and immediately went to work. They thoroughly cleaned the chimney and removed all the glazed creosote; they went on to clean the stove, stove pipe, chimney cap and screen. A thorough inspection was performed, and I was happy to hear the clay flue was in good shape. Upon completion of the job, they vacuumed the area around my stove and cleaned up loose debris from outside. These two gentlemen did a great job and where very personable, knowledgeable. Gabe was at the ready with information on products currently on the market for upgrades and equipment that enhanced safety of wood burning stoves and chimney liners. They got me in right away (when I called back the 2nd time to book, they came the same day!). Two nice guys showed up, were here for about 30 minutes, and cleaned the vent. I asked them to take pictures since the work was done in the attic, and I didn't go up there (see attached pics). We had not had them cleaned in about 4 years, and they needed it! On their way out, they quoted me to clean our HVAC vents, which I had not even thought of doing. I will definitely use them again.
