Tucked into the gallery Lafayette amongst a plethora of lovely little eateries is a great corner restaurant called Tafa. The funny thing about Tafa is I was drawn to it from a visual riding up the escalator thinking it was a noodle dive.
Noodles were on the menu but it was far from a dive. The cozy eating eatery had some explosive flavor being produced. Tofu and duck were the choices and we were not disappointed. The duck was moist thanks to the broth/sauce that it and the rice were in.
This was the lunch before full on window shopping and a tastier meal could not be had. Both the duck and tofu had generous portions. And again the flavor was epic.
I'm not a shopper but I will shop there just to have that meal again. We also had the prawn tempura which was also off the charts tasty with the sauce that was supplied with it.
This place is a hidden gem that if you make it to the galleries of Lafayette be sure to check it out. read more
