They rotate their gear for sale regularly, and if you have extra outdoor gear you're not using, you can get them to sell it it for you (for a price.) I regularly pop into here to see what is new. I am stoked we have a place like this in Eugene. I bought all my snowboarding gear here for less than $200, which was cheaper than a single jacket at REI. I got Burton, Marmot, and Smith gear, and it kept me warm all winter!

Whether it's the lack of knowledge or care in customer service. I've stopped going to big chains now and have fully given these guys my business. Aside from the occasional ammo pickup but, besides during this whole fiasco, Mazama usually has all the ammo I could ever need. They've always been super helpful and really knowledgeable. And they always had what I'm looking for. Looking forward to fishing time and seeing what else they've got to offer. Checked out their handgun section and even though they don't have as much of a selection as say a Cabela's what they do have are popular brands and calibers. Staff that is knowledgeable and more than willing to give you advice and information about the handguns they do have. If they aren't sure of an answer they find out while you are looking. These guys were hands down some of the best I have ever worked with at outdoor/gun shop. They truly care about the customer experience and the way the work with the customers encourages their return. No pressure shopping at it's best! They don't try and push you into making a decision and they make sure to let everyone know they are willing to work with you on price if they are able to. Sold an old shotgun on consignment. Checked on it after 2 months and was told it hadn't sold yet…read more Went to the store 2 weeks later to pick it up and was told it sold a week ago, meant to call you. I asked when I would get my money. Checks usually take a couple weeks to come in I'm told. 3 weeks later, no check. I email, where's my money. Sorry, I forgot. Ok, mail me a check. Another week goes by, no money. I go to the store to get paid, my check is there, dated a week ago. It was NEVER mailed apparently. Who knows when my gun was actually sold. The entire deal is fishy. The vibe was way off. Something wasn't right with this entire thing. If the first check miraculously arrives I'll correct this post, don't wait up. Update... Looks like the first check is in the mail today. The rest of the story I stand by. Weird place with odd employees
