You guys are amazing!!! My boyfriend and I booked two shuttles to mountain bike in Oakridge only to discover the same morning of our shuttles that the stem on his bike was cracked. You not only let us in early to help, but the guy in the repair shop (whose name we sadly did not get) drove home to get the exact matching stem for us and repaired the bike. Talk about going the extra mile!!!! We made our shuttles and had a spectacular day of riding with full credit to you! You will ALWAYS be our bike shop when we visit Oakridge! THANK YOU!!!

We were on a road trip and not at all familiar with the area when we stopped by to take a look around and get some trail information. The guys here were so helpful. It was early in the season and lots of trails were still snow covered and they had all the current trail information and were able to give suggestions based on our skill level. We really didn't need to buy anything but we hunted around just for something to get because we felt like we owed them something for all the information. We had a great ride that afternoon and we will be back again some day for more riding in the area and if we need anything - this will be the place we stop! Great Crew!

Friendly staff. Very informative on MTB trails. Picked up a MTB rear fender to fit my wide tires.

    We love Willamette Mountain Mercantile!

We walk in, to be greeted by silence. Total and complete silence. I look over a rack in time to see this nerdy-looking douche staring in our direction from the cash register. We make eye contact, which is the perfect opening to greet us. Does he take it? Nope. Ok, well the Oregon Sports employees have never been famous for their customer service, no matter which location you visit. I'm in the middle of a discussion with my husband, and I hear his name yelled. Apparently he worked with our douche of an employee like a year ago. So, he's distracted. Which means I have plenty of time to wander and find things. Sadly, find things I did! We ended up spending almost $150. Apparently he was in a good mood last night and bought me everything I wanted. Lol. Failing that, he felt bad for making me go to that crappy bar I just finished reviewing. Either way I found some great Nike shirts and a hat. I'm picky about my Duck gear and wear exclusively Nike for that. I found a good selection and was impressed. Nathan found one shirt, I believe. Everything else was mine. There's a single mirror in the women's section, that's completely hidden/camouflaged, and I had to ask where it was. There's no fitting room. My only saving grace is I was wearing multiple shirts, so I can try stuff on over them if needed. I was not impressed by this though. So douche (I forget his name, as he's not important enough to remember) previously worked with my husband. There was some sort of personality conflict between him and the managers. Somehow after listening to him, I could see why. Customer service is huge in my husband's job. This guy fit in far better at Oregon Sports, where he wasn't required to have any customer service skills. I was impressed by the selection in this store, although small and cramped, it deserves 3-4 stars. The customer service is a 1 star shit show. So that's why it gets 2 stars. Will I return? Probably, but not in the near future. My husband already paid a small fortune for his whim. I doubt he'll be excited to let me in there loose again. Lol.

After reading a few of these reviews..I thought I'd chime in..I've been to this location a handful…read moreof times. Always have a great selection of adult items..I always overspend ;). But, on this particular day I was in search of gear for my little one Kash who was a little over a year and a half..this kid loves "Ducks" and any SPORTS ball in general!!! He's a FANATIC and I love it!! But, the young girl working there that day was not a fan! We had the store literally to ourselves and my son for a year and a half is very well behaved..but there's BALLS and DUCKS EVERYWHERE within his reach. So he wants to play with all of it at one time!! LOL!! He was in heaven!! Like I said, we had the store to ourselves. It was a ghost town there that day and it happened to be an away game (TV) that day..Back on topic. So, my original goal was to find gear for him. He spotted a duck hat in his size immediately and put it on backwards (never wearing a hat before in his young life) kid amazes me! Next to that are clothes mostly for girls it felt..or unisex..I just didn't see what I was looking for in his size..I asked the girl if I was just not seeing "little kid or boy stuff" at this point she was already irritated that my son was playing with every ball in sight..I was letting him have fun since we were the ONLY ones in the store! She begrudgingly said it's "all in this area" and most is unisex..I had accumulated a small pile of items on the counter while picking up ball after ball repeatedly..so I figured I'd BUY a set of mini Duck ones they had so she would be less irritated with him..It didn't work..so I carried him around vs...hearing her complain..by the time I had picked out about $300 in items I was so stressed out about her annoyance with my sports crazed son..I was ready to leave! Would I go back? Yes, they have great stuff there! Will I "not take my son" next time? HELL NO! Just because you hate your job or kids? I'm not killing the EMENSE JOY my son has for (the) Ducks or Sports! Btw, the items little ones can reach near the floor are dusty and full of cobwebs!!

I recently (this past weekend) bought one of their liners and gave it a full-on test ride, in hot conditions, over a long (100 mile) ride. I usually wear another brand of "sweat guard", but sometimes got headaches from it. The SweatHawg was comfortable (I couldn't tell is was there) and worked great. On the hottest part of the ride (90+F) on a long climb, after hours in the saddle already, SweatHawg was still working hard (and I usually fight to keep sweat out of my eyes).
