There's just one other place that's open in the morning for breakfast that I would consider good. Anyhow, I am SO GLAD The Herbin' Crust is here. No need to always drive all the way to Eugene for great food! Love the UNIQUE GOURMET PIZZAS. Everything is FRESHLY MADE. AMAZING pizza topping combinations. The YUMMY seasoning on the crust is The Herbin' Crust's signature. Also the owners grow their own veggies. I am very picky when it comes to salad. And I am careful as to where I order it. Today, I got a salad and it was EXCELLENT with just the right amount of each ingredient. Diana the owner is such a nice and humble person. Always genuine with a kind smile. If you pass by Oakridge and wonder where to eat, just stop by here. Trust me, you'd be happy. Everything is just DELICIOUS!

There are only 8 lanes and they have these swanky leather couches to sit on for an awesome vibe that was great for an adults only play area. It's a small spot that left you feeling intimate while having fun. You order food and drinks from the bar and they deliver it to you at your lane. With over 20 taps there is something for everyone to drink and they have a full menu to choose from. It's bar food, burgers, wings, fries etc. But, the pizza is the hidden gem here. The wood fired pizza is so good. The crust is perfectly chewy and toothy, the cook fired it perfectly and it had the perfect crunchy crust. My wife was able to add Ricotta and roasted garlic from another pizza to the main pepperoni and she said it was fantastic. Me, I have a dairy free diet so I got the Veggie pizza without cheese. I was very surprised with crispy mushrooms and olive blend. The mushrooms were PNW mushrooms and had such an earthy aroma and flavor. The marinara was spicy too, it was just a perfect pizza. It just needed a garlic EVOO drizzle to tie it together. We will definitely be back, this has made it into our top 5 date night locations.

One thing that was a little annoying, and this is a real nit picky thing to bring up, but definitely something I didn't love, was the fact that we were placed at the lane all the way at the end, and there was a worker dusting the walls while we were playing. There were high-backed couches (booths?) so it was pretty private since no one was in the lane next to us. They can put the bumpers up or down for each player, which makes it more fun for all. We got some snacks for the kids (standard bowling alley food) that they enjoyed and came out quickly. I think the prices were pretty reasonable overall compared to other places in Eugene. They can get very busy so it can be hit or miss, especially on a weekend evening. I think I'll have to bring the little kids again soon since they had so much fun.

What would you want to know besides their full bar in back, easy and free parking out front, fun (fairly loud) music being played on a NYE night (so I am going to assume a Friday or Saturday night is no different), clear and concise markers overhead for your scores, comfy shoes (that are treated and sprayed every time, yay!), clean bathrooms, good pizza, all kinds and sizes of balls present with varying degrees of weight and finger holes. It was cheap, clean enough, laid back and easy. The lanes are solid, the ball choice was fine considering the price, and we had fun, which is the most important. The food selection is about what you'd expect, so if you're hungry and you love bits out of the deep fryer, you're good to go. I didn't go into the bar because we were there for my boy, so I'm only speaking to bowling which I feel is the most important part anyway, and it was great. I love the low-tech atmosphere, we're pretty sick of the overpriced, over flashy bowling lanes. When you're out in La Pine and you want to throw a ball at some pins with friends, this place does nicely.

The bumpers have been out of commission for the last decade, and the whole place has a musty odor about it. There isn't any electronic scoring, and they don't have pencils available in order to scribe your name and score on the paper sheets provided. 50% of the arcade games are likely going to eat your quarters, and another 25% will be out of order. But, at the time of this review the dual gun terminator game is firing on all cylinders and still rocks like it did when I was 5 years old. I am giving this place 5 stars aside from all those things because this is small town living. In 15 years my kids and I will laugh about having to repeatedly press the reset button in order to just a good set of pins, or the owner coming out and beating on the wooden planks to set them flat in the lane. We recently went to lava lanes which was SENSORY OVERLOAD and my kids hated it. They couldn't stop saying how much more they loved the La Pine bowling alley - the 5 year old doing so in tears. We love this place.
