The most authentic Mexican tacos are from this food truck! I always get street style steak tacos

Taco Wey 561 is also in Sandalfoot east of 441 on SW 8th T-S 7pm-11pm. We stumbled by them on accident on a few trips to Publix and finally had an opportunity to visit after discovering their hours in Scandalfoot. My bestie and I both ordered the biria and carnitas grande quesadilla + sour cream and pico. I ordered a side of elotes which was absolutely delicious. It was served in a cup with the corn cut off of the cob and topped with cheese. My friend tried the tacos which he describes as not salty, not too spicy and perfectly seasoned. Their verde sauce with lime made this amazeballs. Mexican food trucks are killing it! I can't think of anything comparable at a local restaurant.

If you're looking for a tasty, quick and inexpensive Mexican bite, this is THE truck. Absolute hidden gem. The ladies are all so welcoming and beyond nice. Such a great vibe! This truck offers a few different Mexican delicacies but as always.. a loyal love to carne asada, I just had to get those as a first timer. Ordered carne asada (steak) and chicken tacos and let me tell you I wish I had ordered a few more for later! They were absolutely delicious, the cheesiness was perfect. My personal favorite, THE CRUNCH. And let's not forget to top that off with some green salsa, perfect combo - definitely going to request an additional salsa. Thank you Tacos Wey 561, for the yummy food - I'll forever be a customer! Pictured: (one pic has both) Carne Asada Taco Chicken Tacos

We needed a quick bite and felt like tacos. The yelp recommendations brought us to this well run food truck on the side of the road. It was a great find. The customer before us had pre-ordered. Assuming he was a regular, we asked for his recommendations and he said to definitely try the tacos with the grilled on cheese (first type on the list). The tacos were all great, but the pork ones were off the chart. I wish we lived closer as we would be regulars too!

I've never spent more money, and for the smallest amount of food that I've ever received, and I love Mexican cuisine, especially and I have friends who are Mexican restaurant, business owners, who don't even serve portions this small. All of what you see in the picture cost me $20.00. Who wants to spend $40 so two people can comfortably eat while enjoying a homemade meal is nobody in this day and age because inflation is a thing. So just beware good food but you are not getting your moneys worth. You are purely paying for the taste of good food in tapas form.

This place is absolutely amazing I can't brag enough! I'm Mexican and always crave for an authentic taco. I've tried a bunch of Mexican places around south Florida but I rarely like any of them always mediocre except for habaneros on sample that one is great too! But this taco truck is so on point! I ordered for the first time online through their site. It was super easy to manage and order. I did call them prior to ordering just to confirm they were open and the location just incase. They were on Yamato more west of it near lyons. So I ordered like 20 min out and I got there and my wait time was very short only about 5 min which isn't bad. It was around lunch time so it was starting to get busy!. I took my food home because I wanted to eat with my partner. I got a shrimp taco, 3 chicken tacos and a quesa asada and a carne asada taco! Omg it was all soooo darn good I was in taste bud heaven. I really enjoyed their green salsa! I poured that on everything lol. Next time I'm going to go way more crazy lol I'm going to order everything! Go Go Go!!!! Support this truck it won't disappoint.

These are the best tacos I've had in the area. I am basically addicted. The first time I tried the brisket tacos - it was just so flavorful. With the tender juicy brisket, onions, cilantro and lime - it's delicious. I've been there probably 25 times and it's always fantastic. Also very well priced. I get 3 tacos but I could probably eat 4. We have only tried the brisket and birria so I can't speak to their other items but I'm obsessed. I've tried tacos all over south Florida and these are the only ones I crave. So glad it's close to my house.

I am not going to lie it's not the sexiest looking food truck but do not sleep on this spot!!! The birria tacos are so tasty!!!! I love that this spot is consistently serving fresh food and was conveniently located right down the street. (Note the truck has moved since I ate there). Birra Quesotaco and brisket chorizo Quesotaco... Yummy!!! Everything is made fresh while you wait.. Tortillla perfect, not soggy.. Birria is full of flavor... quesotacos have a lovely melted cheese The green sauce is a spicy tomatillo sauce... has a kick... Solid quick bite. lol have it a four because I wish there was a bit more variety In the menu in terms of sides like a chip option.

A hidden in West Boca Raton, Tacos Wey 561 is a locally-owned food truck that serves scrumptious, authentic Mexican cuisine. Their menu consists of Mexican street food essentials: tacos, gorditas, quesadillas, quesatacos, and burritos! Their birria quesataco is the of the show. A quesataco is the offspring of a quesadilla and a taco Their birria is made from shredded beef that's marinated in a delicious broth and then slowly cooked to perfection. A heaping portion of this yummy birria stuffed in a corn tortilla topped with cheese and fried until just the right amount of crisp give their shrimp tacos a try and you'll be blown away by the freshness! Final review: Atmosphere: ?/10 it's a food truck, create your own vibes Taste: 9.5/10 Service: 9.5/10 Price: 9/10 Portion: 8.5/10 Final review: 9.1/10

OBSESSED with this incredible taco food truck now that I have discovered it! I've been 3 times this month so far. The best ones are the quesa taco birria, shrimp and brisket & chorizo. Incredible!

If you are going for the drinks, I'm sure you can overlook it. IF YOU ARE VEGAN AND HUNGRY, this place was not worth the price I paid. First, I got the Burrito (honestly, I wish I went to Chipotle. They know how to make a good Burrito.) THE BURRITO WAS CRUNCHY. I asked them if they could make it vegan- best offer was stir fry vegetables with WAYY TOO MUCH OIL, the rice- for some reason, was made with butter. The spices used on the vegetables were SO STRONG (after I asked for mild spice) that I couldn't feel my tongue for 30 min after Eva finally took it away (she offered 2 times, I felt bad about wanting to send it back after 2 bites. I tried to stomach more and I got really bad acid reflux from the spice) she came back to the table and offered to take it away a second time (Probably because she saw I was almost in tears from how I can't taste, my nose is running like a faucet and very quickly questioning my life decisions leading up to this "FOOD") I ordered the veggie Fajitas next. Again, too oily, spicy- but bearable. I was once told "if the food is too spicy, it means they're covering up that they can't cook" for a whopping $37 I learned the hard way. The ambience was basically the bare minimum of what's legally passable as a restaurant. It had tables, an overworked staff that took 20 min to seat us, 20 min after ordering for food and 15 min in between to check on us. This place was overcrowded and way over hyped. Not going again. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. Even if I was starving, I'd walk 40 min to go to Chipotle. At least the burrito will be worth it.

Hi, I'm Glenn and I'm a mexican cuisine addict…read more... and I found my new place to get my fix... For years I have frequented a couple of local mexican restaurants; they were/are good but my eyes have been opened to Casa Tequila. Let me tell you what makes my appreciation of Casa Tequila... I have really enjoyed the other mexican restaurants we were going to for the past couple decades but the issue always come up when my wife and I travel to Mexico and enjoy authentic mexican food; arriving back at our local spots became a let-down because they were serving very americanized dishes (flooded with too much cheese and loads of unnecessary sauce. Casa Tequila is serving much more along the lines of what we have enjoyed in our many visits to various regions of Mexico; great balanced flavors and a menu with plenty of options. I don't normally go for the burritos but these burritos are the real deal (AND THEY ARE HUGE so come hungry)... try the "SUPER BURRITO" or the "ASADA BURRITO"; I've tried a bunch but these are the two I keep re-ordering. Recently I tried their "FAJITA TRIO" (fajitas with steak, chicken and shrimps)... it's a lot of food but leftovers always taste great the next day. Personally, we love sitting at the bar; the bartenders are amazing at making fresh margaritas (we always ask every mexican place to not use a pre-made mix... Casa Tequila hits the spot with amazing margaritas); although I normally have their flavored iced tea.

I ONLY REVIEW NACHOS…read more I came in expecting a Mexican restaurant to nail nachos. That's a reasonable expectation. Boy was I wrong. The Grande Nachos arrived in a ceramic dish so nuclear hot I couldn't touch it. By the time it cooled enough to eat, the cheese had souped itself across the entire plate and sealed every chip underneath in a molten tomb. The shredded beef was actually good. That's the tragedy. Good ingredients, catastrophic execution. The refried beans -- listed on the menu, credit for that -- were the murder weapon. Beans plus nuclear heat plus oily cheese plus ceramic dish equals guaranteed chip annihilation. What was left underneath wasn't chips. It was soggy, near liquid mush. The Fork Rule was violated immediately. I left feeling like my gut had survived a blitzkrieg. I went straight to Packy's just to forget what I'd eaten. This isn't a nacho. It's a deconstructed burrito in a ceramic dish. Someone didn't get the memo. 2/10 on the Florida Nacho Man scale. 1/5 stars on Yelp. Full review with photos at floridanachoman.substack.com
