My friends also got queso, salsa, and ceviche. The ceviche was fresh and delicious, but the salsa was way too hot for me personally. I took one bite and couldn't handle another. For my entrée, I ordered the carne asada, and unfortunately it just was not what I expected. Instead of the thinner, flavorful steak I'm used to, it was a thick chunk of meat that was really chewy, fatty, and honestly lacked flavor. It just didn't work for me at all. The rice and beans were decent though, so no complaints there. The service was okay, but our server definitely seemed overwhelmed or maybe just uninterested. We often didn't see her for long stretches of time, so when she did come by, we had multiple things to ask for. It kind of felt like we were a burden anytime we needed something, which put a little damper on the experience. Overall, I'd probably give this place a 6/10.
