This business has a variety of foods on their menu including mariscos (seafood) and you can enjoy your food with Aguas frescas, cold bottled beverages from Mexico, or nice cold Micheladas which they prepare for you. I personally enjoy this place more than its competitors like Mi Ranchito because the food is good and the salsas are even better. They have a variety of salsas that range from mild to hot for the average Joe, but they also have a hotter one for the authentics who love their chile. I've been here at least 5 times and have never had an issue with customer service or with my orders. Location is a little shady (not the best side of town) but I like the food there, I go there for the menudo they sell it every day not just the weekend... in my opinion this is one of the most authentic spots we have in Lancaster and I would recommend it. I went there with the wifey & kids. They loved the food. There was a lot of dishes to choose from I had the Mexican nacho's which were pretty good the wifey had a garlic shrimp plate which of course I had to simple and good it was!! Now, I have eaten at Tacos Si Senor for years! When the one in Rosamond closed down I thought I was lucky enough to google and find this other location. I work construction and live in Tehachapi, so when I had a chance I would always make the detour. After getting my togo order I would then make the 1 hour trek home with burrito, corn bread, comp. chips, and Orchata riding shotgun. I would arrive bust out salsas and chow down. Although this time when I arrived at my home and opened up my bag of chips I looked down and was amazed "Whhhhaaaa???? 5 Chips?". So I literally dumped them out and counted, "My bad.... 6". ALL STALE AND OLD. I said fuck it, Im going to call and complain. I called and recited my time and order and told them, 1 hour+ drive, customer for years, I WOULD HAVE WAITED, I even tipped you guys. She said, "Well, how much did you tip?" I told her .75-$1. You know what she said? If you want your 75 cents come back and get it! Are you fucking serious! When she asked me what I wanted, I told her I wanted nothing. She then went on to tell me that I am actually not owed any chips and that it is their choice. So I am making my choice. read more

This place has mediocore food and their customer service is by far the WORSE. I don't see how this place stays in business. I have been to this establishment a handful of times hoping that each visit would be better and each time the service and food has been even more disappointing. The salsa bar is blah...if you want better quality food go to Mi Ranchitos which is less than a quarter mile east on the same street, plus you will get better customer service and more flavorful food. I'm a regular here. I like their food, and their friendly customer service. I'm very knowledgeable of Mexican food, and I consider myself a connoisseur in a way. I hold a sit down Mexican restaurant to a different standard then a hole-in-the-wall taco shop type of spot. 4 stars here doesn't mean that this place is equivalent to Frida at the Americana or something because they are set to a different standard. Tried this place out for the first time tonight. I must rate the food average. It lacked flavor. The quality of meat was ok. It just lacked a lot of flavor. Including the tortillas. They were borderline cold. And the salsas were ok. I had asada and chicken tacos. The lady at the register was pretty nice. The place looked a little unkept. The restaurant had a B rating. Tried to utilize my Spanish here in the AV that I never get too, and got Shut Down! Employee at the counter corrected me quick by reverting back to English, besides that food is good juke box comes on randomly always Spanish of course. I'd been intending to visit this place since I saw the great reviews on here several months ago. As of now, I've tried a carne asada burrito, an al pastor taco, a pork tamale and beans. I liked everything except the beans; they just didn't taste right. The carne asada burrito was great once I got past the rice and found the meat. Another yelper on here mentioned that the contents weren't evenly distributed when he/she had one and they're still not. I started on the rice end and was glad I had some salsa since the rice was dry. The meat made up for it, though. The al pastor taco was good, it also needed some salsa. The pork tamale was very tasty and didn't skimp on the pork. Some tamales have thick masa and little meat; this one was the opposite and oh-so-good. The chips that came with the order were a little too dark (on the verge of being burnt) so I wasn't getting my hopes up about them being edible... but, surprise! they were very good. Don't let the area or the people hanging around the shopping center deter you from trying this place. Just go and enjoy. read more

I've come here a few times for lunch. Always carried out and taken it back to my office, but they are quick and the food is great. I usually like to get the Carne Asada Burrito, but sometimes if I'm taking food back to my office to share I'll get the family taco deal - 20 tacos, rice, beans, and chips for $19.99!! The tamales were ROTTEN. I don't know if this was an unfortunate one-time mistake but the minute we unwrapped one of the pork tamales, the most foul odor came from it. Used to be one of my favorite spots. This place is getting bad. The customer service sucks, they have a bad attitude & get mad when you bring things to their attention. I ordered a sprite & it had little black stuff in it & smelled musty. I also ordered hard shell carne asada tacos & was told they couldn't make carne asada hard shell tacos..... Since when???? Just stayed in town this past weekend and found this GEM. This place easily gets 4 stars for the food quality and price. The extra star comes from the people/ service. We had a to-go order for 7 Adults/ 4 Children ( easily under $45, with many leftovers) that my sister took a while to order, and the people behind the counter had suggestions with courtesy. Great flavor, great salsa bar, great service for a hole-in-the-wall place. Forget the chain places on the other side of I-14 and come here. Fortunately/ Unfortunately I will be coming back to Mojave often....but glad I'll be stopping by here EVERY time I'm passing through. read more

After going back to work we realize that we had gotten over charged and re quested explanation. The cashier got offended after telling her that our totals where not matching what she said. She stated that the register was showing a different price so that's why we where charged more. Not once did she apologize or even tried to fix the problem. All she needed to say that she was miss informed and she could give us credit or so but she decided to be rude on the phone. Not a good way to keep your customers happy.........
