The food is the best Mexican in the area. Everything we have ordered has all been fresh. Also the service and people are very friendly.

Now here we are celebrating another family members Birthday and we were a party of seven tonight (Six of us were from the previous celebration)... stay with me, there's a point I'm going to make. So, we all had very different orders and drinks two months ago and everything was fabulous as it always is and it just so happens that we got the same Waitress tonight that we had before and not only did she remember us, but she also remembered what each one of us ordered. I mean food AND Drinks... down to the Sugar Rim on the Margaritas and the side shots on some other drinks being served! She even remembered that I ordered Lime and Cilantro on the side of my meal and had a preference of Corn Tortillas! COME ON MAN!!! PIA IS AMAZING!!! Juan Miguel's... I don't know what you guys are paying this young woman, but whatever it is... it is not enough! She is phenomenal! Don't get me wrong, we come there for the fantastic food but Pia has made the experience something much more special than we anticipated. She's truly the type of employee that you ALWAYS take care of. She's good for business. We'll see you guys next month. We told her so and we know one thing for certain... SHE WON'T FORGET!

I suppose this is the rare instance where I'm glad I did not read the reviews before I ate here…read more We've been to the original in Detroit many times, but had not yet tried this place. Tonight was the right time to change that. They make very good use of the small footprint this place has. There is ample seating, if I counted right there's something like 12 tables and five or six high top options. Their primary business is carry out of course, but we found it nice to relax at a table and enjoy the ambience a little. Neither of us had a drink but we made a note of the full bar including a variety of margaritas. I'm sure they are well prepared. The somewhat limited menu is actually kind of a good thing. It means that most of their items can be brought out quickly. My wife and I both had tacos. She went with steak, and I went with pastor. Both were perfect and very well prepared. I was especially pleased at how favorable mine were with nice fresh onion and cilantro. The refried beans were also terrific, not too chalky or cakey but not too greasy either. I didn't care for my rice, but my wife enjoyed it. We also each had a flan for dessert. It was presented in a plastic container, but again this place is intended primarily for carryout. The flan was delicious and tasted freshly made. The staff were all in their young 20s but were all very friendly and accommodating. I'm looking forward to coming back here soon.

People who sit there and complain about the food being nasty: 1. Don't know how to order the right food 2. Just don't like good food in general I have also seen people complaining about the staff, but little do they know, when a restaurant is busy, the staff stay busy. I've never had an issue where any of the waiters or waitresses haven't checked in on my table. Even if they may have forgotten something (such as a refill or some napkins), they always say they're sorry and bring it right over. I have never had an issue with them. To the people who want to sit here and say that they're one star: just learn how to have better taste in food.

I ordered a taco salad and my friends ordered a chimichanga plate All was delicious. We even had a flight of different alcohol ( I don't remeber what they were) but I do eemeber that we ordered shots of taramid a spicy liquor made from smirinoff it has a dias de Muertos skull on the label. The alcohol was great but our waitress failed to tell us that these shots were $10 a piece where the flight of 4 was like $12. Butttt it was very enjoyable and and fun We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly hospitality Just note that if your bill is a certain amount they do put the percentage of tip that they expect. Overall I will visit again especially since it authentic Mexican food. Until next time, Keep Yelping my friends.

While it may appear to be a cute…read morelittle ice cream shop, it offers so much more: aguas frescas, baked goods, homemade ice cream, snacks, and classic Mexican cuisine. The owner and chef, Ricardo, and his staff are attentive and personable. The elote fries are a great way to start a meal. I've also had a pork tamal/tamale. It was a bit dry, but I'm hoping it was just a one-time occurrence. I've tried four tacos on the menu: acorazado (fried chicken), al pastor, ceviche (marinated shrimp), and carnitas. Of those, the carnitas was by far my favorite. The pork is cooked with pig's feet, which noticeably enhances the flavor profile. I've also had the birria pizza. I personally prefer birria tacos, but have not tried them here yet. On the sweeter side, the aguas frescas, ice cream, and sweet bread are all must-tries. I've also gotten the chocolate-dipped banana. I would get this again, but the other sweets are superior. After sampling all the aguas frescas and ice cream flavors, I can honestly say I enjoyed them all. The ice cream stood out the most, as there are so many unique flavors. Prickly pear, gancito, tres leches, bubble gum, and piñon (pine nut) are just a few of the options available. As for the sweet bread, I got it on my way out, and it barely made it to my car. Although I loved the elote fries and carnitas taco, it was the sweets that impressed me the most. Most importantly, everything is made in-house. In a day and age where outsourcing has become so common, an establishment like Michi Michi cannot go unappreciated.

My wife and I have been running errands and wanted to try something new for supper and found this place on yelp. When we arrived it seemed a little quiet, but the hostess/waitress quickly appeared and showed us to a table. From there everything went smoothly. I opted for a plate of enchiladas, and found them to be very well prepared and seasoned. The salsa had that wonderful tomato forward texture to it that I enjoy very much. The room is small, and it's clear that they get most of their business on carryout. That being said I think if you showed up with a somewhat larger party they would be glad to take care of you. They certainly took good care of us.

Being that I'm on this side of town for a few days, I figured it was finally time to check it out. The location's much bigger with more seating than the Rochester Hills one. Nicely decorated with ample seating, you order at the counter and they run the food out to you. Not sure if they have waitresses or not, but that's how they were running it when I was there. I asked if they had Birria tacos and the man behind the counter said they do, just not on the menu. I ordered the taco dinner with shredded beef, rice, beans and a glass of water. I got served chips and dip which was okay, but the salsa was a bit runny for my liking. The "hot" salsa was good, and wasn't overpowering. Eventually, my food came out and it was a huge portion! I was impressed with all three tacos, rice and beans. It was only $13 on the menu, so I was happy with how much food I was served. The beef was a little on the dry side but still fairly good. Rice and beans were decent, but the music was a bit on the louder side. I docked a star for the meat being a bit dry and louder music considering it wasn't really necessary. The man who rang me up was super nice and friendly and also went through the menu with me since I had a few questions before ordering. Overall, a decent meal for the price and I'd return in the future.
