The location was odd but we went in anyway. Wow, we are so pleased that we did. The atmosphere was breezy and clean. Minimalist and modern. The staff was personal and professional, yet friendly. The food was delicious. We had the pancakes and oatmeal brûlée. Absolutely perfect. You can taste the extra passion they put into their food. It tasted like dessert but was a healthy breakfast made with clean ingredients. Loved it! We will be back for sure!

A perfect blend of rustic, modern, and cozy, with exposed brick walls, warm wooden accents, and a beautiful outdoor patio. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a good meal, sip your coffee, read a book, and completely lose track of time. The food was fresh and delicious, the iced coffee hit the spot, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. What I particularly loved was the attention to detail, from the presentation of the food to the thoughtfully curated merchandise and displays celebrating local creativity. As an author myself, I couldn't help but notice their support for local creatives. It got me thinking: wouldn't it be wonderful to see my novel, The Last Rendezvous, on one of their shelves someday? Especially since Bakersfield plays such an important role in my story. My main character grew up here, calls this city home, and much of her journey unfolds right here in the Central Valley.
