We decided to embark on a little culinary adventure and stopped by this lively spot for happy hour,…read moreeager to sample what this location had to offer. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance that's common in many Midwest restaurants, with rustic charm and a welcoming vibe. We were promptly checked in and seated at a cozy table that gave us a perfect view of the bustling restaurant. Our server, Monica, immediately made an impression with her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for the menu. With so many tempting options, we took a little time to peruse, and she patiently guided us through the extensive selections, recommending some of her personal favorites. We decided to kick things off with a couple of refreshing drinks; I chose the rich and robust Negra Modelo while my girlfriend opted for the smooth and crisp Victoria. Both drinks perfectly set the tone for a fantastic evening ahead. As for the food, it surpassed our expectations. I ordered the carne asada, and let me tell you, it was absolutely divine--a medley of flavors that danced on my palate! The steak was perfectly grilled, tender, and well-seasoned, served with a side that complemented it beautifully. My girlfriend chose the chimichangas, which were nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Crisp on the outside and bursting with savory goodness on the inside, she was more than pleased with her choice. The portion sizes were nothing short of gigantic, and the generous helpings made it clear that this place doesn't hold back when it comes to satisfying their guests. We quickly filled our plates and savored every last bite, knowing we might have to roll ourselves out of there by the end of our meal! Throughout our time there, Monica continued to shine. She was remarkably attentive, ensuring that our drinks were refilled promptly and checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything. Her warm service added a personal touch that made our experience even more enjoyable. One of the great bonuses is the ample parking available in front of the restaurant, which is always a plus. Additionally, there's a shopping center next door where you can pick up groceries at Aldi or grab some liquor at Merwin's. It's the perfect spot to round off the evening or stock up on essentials. Overall, our visit was a delightful experience filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and outstanding service. This place has certainly earned a spot on our go-to list for future outings!

It came with creama, onions, guacamole and beans on the side. Very fresh tasting no heavy after taste of lard or broths. Salsa and chips are served complimentary at the beginning. Service was fast, though we were there late afternoon. Not a huge space but plenty of seating and a casual vibe. Plenty of parking. Worth a trip for anyone in the area who enjoys Mexican food! Looking forward to going again!

The salsa here was very garlicky which I don't mind, but others may. I got the lunch fajitas. The chicken was very rubbery and had a lot of very hard, inedible chunks. There weren't any spices on the chicken or fajita veggies which made it taste charred from sitting on the hot dish. Service 4/5: there only seemed to be one person working, so it took him awhile to get to us. The food came out relatively quick, but if you're in a rush this may not be the best lunch spot. Ambiance 3/5: we sat on the side that was more open and it was cold, it felt like we were sitting outside. We all kept our jackets on. Overall, this place could use some improvements. Another server for lunch, some seasoning, and a little more heat in the restaurant :)

This place has some good things but overall, not good. Food Is bad and service is bad. You'll be sitting waiting to leave for quite some time. The other reviews are all right, there is no flavor and everything is watered down, and i mean everything. I do not recommend this place. Matter of fact I'd avoid even thinking of trying it. Trust the poor reviews.
