Excited to be back in the area, we brought some friends to try Pancho's. We were all super pleased with the restaurant - good service and food. I really like this place and stop in for lunch whenever I'm in Blaine. The chips and salsa are good and I really love the queso and chorizo as an appetizer. Pretty much all of their entrees are good but the quesabirriria is awesome. For a casual Mexican restaurant I highly recommend Pamchos. read more

I was craving tacos and decided to give this place a try with my youngest son. There is a smaller parking lot and a sign outside that notes you can sit inside and get full service or outside and order from a QR code. We sat inside and were brought to a table way in the back. There was no music playing like others have talked about. The brightly colored tables and yellow walls were fun, but looked like they needed some updating. Our order was taken fairly quickly and the food came out extremely fast! The quesabirria tacos were filled with seasoned meat and cheese! They were a tad greasy and I did have one taco that had a large fatty piece. Overall those there tasty! The chips and Queso were very good! The chips tasted like they are made in house! I would come back for the chips and Queso alone! The kid's quesadilla fell flat for me and for my 3 year old. Very bland. The service here was just ok. No one came to check on us after the food came out. I did get to listen to the staff complain about issues at the restaurant which was not a fun atmosphere. No one told me that you pay at the front, so I sat for 10 minutes after I was done and no one came over. I wanted a to go box for the kids meal and literally walked the plate up to the front to get a box. There were a lot of people coming and picking up food, so the next time I order from here, I think I'll make it a to go order. read more

I had a hankering for some Mexican breakfast so decided to check this place out. I had huevos rancheros that were SO GOOD and the sauce was actually spicy and flavorful! And the BEST refried beans I have ever had!! They are one of the few (Maybe only) places I've seen legit breakfast tacos in the twin cities so I've been meaning to try those. Why are there not more breakfast tacos??? One gripe is that a lot of the (breakfast) dishes do not include/aren't priced with meat. The tiny little spot is family run and makes their own Horchata. Also tried the horchata for the first time and really love the milky rice taste with spice! It was our first time here and the person at the front was very friendly and helpful with explaining the menu to us. We got the Birria burrito and kids cheese quesadillas. It also comes with a side of chips and plenty of hot sauce on the side, 2 condiment cups worth. The burrito was huge and the kid's quesadilla is also a good size. They have cute outdoor seating with table, chairs and napkin dispenser on each table. It's also a first come first serve seating so we sat outside to enjoy the food. Parking is very tiny for this tiny spot but I'm sure you can park on the streets if needed. read more

I tried the Jamaica (Hibiscus) which was both refreshing and delicious without being too sweet. Really the best food of any kind that we've found in our little "three corners" area (Blaine, Lexington, Circle Pines). The basics like the chips, refried beans and rice are so good I can make a meal out of them alone. Birria and Poole are especially recommended. The restaurant is plain but very clean, service is good. We usually get take out since we live so close, and our only complaint is for takeout there are often minor errors in sides and sauces. read more

We just got back from trying this new restaurant in Circle Pines. I do get that they are new as of May but we were not real impressed with the food we ordered. I got the Tamala's Platter and the masa was very mushy and the pork had no flavor. I could not eat most of the meal. My wife got the Enchilada's and wasn't pleased at how thick the tortia's were and they were mushy as well. The Mole sauce was very spicy, but maybe it was suppose to be. She tried the Elote and did enjoy that. I'm not sure if well be back or not. read more

I wasn't real pleased with how thick the tortias were. They seemed mushy to me. The mole sauce was very spicy as well, but I'm not sure it that is how it is or not. My husband ordered the tamales platter, had them in a small place in Mexico and really enjoyed them. We'll these were very mushy. Didn't eat much of them. The pork had not flavor either. We love this place! It is our go to for some authentic Mexican dishes! Service is really great everytime. They offer outdoor seating and pick up orders. They always have fresh agua Fresca. This place is LEGIT! We've been here about 10 times now and every time the food is absolutely perfect! Every single bite is delicious. The first time we came here we ordered the quesabirria and the first bite, I was astonished by the flavors I was experiencing. It was one of the very best things I've ever had at any restaurant. Their tacos are amazing, particularly the carne asada. Enchiladas, flautas.... damn. And their nachos are the best I've had anywhere. I recommend this place to everyone I know, and when we have guests in from out of town, we bring them here. All agree that this place is 5 stars all the way.
