My husband said I needed to try their burrito because it was freshly pressed and made in-house. I tried the steak burrito with Mexican rice, pico de Gallo, shredded cheese, mild salsa, cilantro, and lime squeeze. 1. It is very filling! 2. The weight of this burrito was insane! 3. I came back two days later for more burritos! The services were great both times. After 4:00pm, there are young employees to assist. Before 4:00pm, there was an older gentleman who was really nice. At the time I arrived, he was cooking a fresh batch of steak. I also ordered chips and salsa. They are small portions so I got two. One for me and the other for my husband. I also got one fresh horchatas which was delicious, cold, and sweet. Skip Chipotle chain restaurant and try these guys out. You will not regret it. read more

What a hidden gem. This is a chain of burrito spots and it is so nice to have a nice quick huge burrito without having to drive into Blaine with all the traffic. The complies are always cheerful and the place is clean. There is not much seating for eating there if that is what you are looking for. They have a lot to choose from for drinks and burrito mixins. We had heard such great things about this place and wanted to try it out, wish we wouldn't have. We got a burrito and a burrito bowl with chips and queso. Chips were stale! Food was okay. The service was horrid!!! There were no other customers there when we walked in. We weren't greeted when we walked in, no acknowledgment at all that they had customers, both employees had glued on scowls the entire time. I visited Brito's Burrito in Lexington on Thursday, March 13, 2025, just before 1 pm. The place is very clean and still looks new. I looked at the menu and didn't see al pastor, which is my go-to taco any time I try a new Mexican restaurant. I still asked if they had it, and the guy said yes, so I said I'd take two tacos al pastor. He got my tortillas ready and then stopped and looked at me with his hand out, palm up, staring at me like I was stupid. Finally, he asked what kind of meat I wanted, so for the third time I told him I wanted al pastor. He put the meat in the tortillas and then I asked for pico de gallo and cilantro. He put in the pico de gallo and then stared at me with his palm up again. I had to ask for the cilantro a second time. I then had to tell him what other toppings I wanted one-at-a-time to avoid this happening again. The guy had a look on his face the whole time like he was pissed off and I was wasting his time, even though I was the only customer in there. I started eating the tacos at work and the tortillas and ingredients were very fresh. The al pastor was not what I am used to though. It was not marinated nor tender, and the zing from the pineapple that normally makes the pork slightly acidic and delicious was not there. Instead, it seemed like the meat was cooked before adding anything to it, so none of the flavor penetrated the meat. The food wasn't bad, but it didn't measure up to al pastor from other joints around town. I get service without the attitude and more flavorful food at El Burrito, Tacos Pineda, or most any other Mexican place in St. Paul or Minneapolis. read more

We ordered takeout from here last night. Online ordering process was easy, done right on their website. My husband ordered the steak burrito and I had the chicken burrito. BIG burritos, bigger than Chipotle's. The option to get Mexican rice in the burrito is a nice touch. Next time we get food from here, we'll go to the location to order so we can see them make it and ask for extras as needed. I would've liked a bit more cheese and pico in my burrito. Very similar to Chipotle, but on my opinion, better tasting. I had a burrito bowl with brown rice, carnitas, pinto beans, cheese, lettuce mild sauce. Hot foods were hot and cold foods were cold. Also had their tortilla chips, which were very good. Wished I'd have ordered guacamole to try it out. Friendly service, and pretty quick. Compatible price to Chipotle. Several different cans of soda available. Four tables if you want to eat on site. Definitely will be back. read more
