Ok, I love this place mainly for how inventive their special taco flavors are. The last time I was here, they offered a taco that was basically a Big Mac as a taco and it was absolutely amazing! The real winner for me from their regular menu is the Machete. If you don't know what a Machete is, it is basically a long, crispy taco/quesadilla choke full of ingredients. It is HUGE and can easily feed two people. Everything tastes super fresh and portions are decently sized (especially their tacos, they do not skimp here). Prices are fairly comparable to Chipotle or Qdoba (maybe a little more expensive) but quality is way better. The salsa bar is a nice addition to your meal but be careful. Some of those babies are hot, hot, hot!

Meat it nicely cut, nice flavor, double tortilla, yummy! Creamy green salsa is super spicy so beware. They also have a self serve salsa and onion mix which is very nice.

Decent for what it is. The food is warm and is ready fast. I had a bowl that was okay. For $10, I expected a bit more flavor. I'm much more likely to go to Chipotle or the local favorite, El Salzón.

Fantastic tacos and other Mexican delights await you at this Taco Libre location. If you've been to any of their other locations, you already know what to expect, but if you haven't get ready for a treat. Of special note is the machete- a super long taco that you can get filled with 2 different meats. Delicious, if messy and hard to eat. They also have some sandwiches (tortas), alambres, burritas, and empanadas (and don't forget dessert). Wash it all down with an agua fresca, but don't ask for a cup of water, cause they don't do that here! As for the tacos (and some other foods) you can pick your choice of meat from like 10 different options. Every one I tried was delicious. I would advise you to skip the Tres Leches, as it wasn't so great. But everything else was very pleasing.

    Tacos Quesabirria

I came here for lunch on a Thursday because I was in the area. I looked online and saw 10.99 for quesabirria and I though wow what a steal! So I come in and see that the quesabirria is not 10.99 but instead it's 13.99. But no issue I thought as I ordered it. As for drinks they do not have a soda fountain but bottled drink options only and I grabbed a Diet Coke. When the cashier tallied my final order at over 18 dollars I was astounded! All for 3 tacos and a bottle of coke. When my food came it was presented quite well and the salsas were all good-chipotle, an Arbol, and a salsa verde. My quesabirria was fine nothing to write home about. The meat was adequately tender and the entire thing was a little under seasoned for my liking. No depth of flavor you get with delicious quesabirria. I was really disappointed in the value of this place. 18 bucks for 3 tacos and a bottle of a non refillable drink is absurd. All in all I'd give the service 5/5 restaurant interior 4/5, Food 3/5 Value 2/5

The burrito was very hefty, for me that is almost 4 meals. Loved that some entrees came with chips and guac. The spicy sauce that came with was very spicy so be careful but so delicious. The horchata was a bit disappointing, I've had it before but forgot what it was like, it just tasted like a sweet milk. No cinnamon taste. But it was still delicious. So easy to order at the kiosk. There are only a couple tables in the gas station if you want to eat in otherwise most people just take out. Few tables were set up outside too. The gas station is filled with drinks and snacks so it's easy to browse for extras while you wait for your food. It's a literal hole in the wall inside this gas station. I only wish the hours were better, whenever we get a craving for this it's always closed so we have to take advantage when they are open. Can't wait to try their other locations.

I had so-so birria tacos (no consomme, single soft-corn tortilla) and so-so horchata (served in a sealed bag that looks like an IV pouch, actually kind of funny), along with a tasty and particularly juicy elote. My friend got the Asada Mulita and he quite enjoyed it. That seemed like a good deal for $9, and $4.90 per taco for what I got is okay. The ambiance absolutely does not rise above what you would expect from an unremarkable, utilitarian convenience store with a few tables that aren't routinely wiped down. You can order online (highly recommended) or from a screen near their covered-up window. Whenever a food place is clearly hiding its employees from its customers, I'm nervous that I will be ignored. But someone was constantly popping out and asking people what their names were, and telling them how many minutes they can expect to wait. (Waiting = standing next to the salty snacks shelves.) I see now that they have Al Pastor Chicken with Pineapple Pico and I definitely want to come back and try that. Maybe I'll raise my rating if I love it. Meanwhile, I'd recommend considering this at least for the experience, but order ahead and expect a 30-minute wait. Also note that they close at 7pm.

The food is always solid. I love the carne asada tacos and the fajitas, especially the steak and chicken combo. This is the food spot we eat at the most hands down. At least 2-4 times a month. I love the food. Their Tinga is sooo good. I ordered a side of their rice the other day (because I love it in my burritos) and oh my gosh that was amazing. But the staff don't even fill up my cup full of rice . It was only like 80% full. Felt like I got ripped off a bit, for the cost. I also really wish they would look into adding more menu options. We need queso here, I bet they could make an amazing queso. I also wish they had a salsa specifically for chips. Their sauces/salsas are great, but only on food. Not great with chips. Overall - still great. Go eat here. Service is slower than before. Prices have gone up. Wish they had queso and a salsa for chips specifically. Wish I got a full cup of rice when I order a side of rice, considering how expensive the rice is.

The parking lot, shared with several other businesses, offered plenty of spots, making our arrival easy and stress-free. As we entered the establishment, we were promptly greeted by a friendly staff member at the counter. The menu was a delight--clearly laid out, with detailed descriptions for each item. This thoughtful touch made it easy to navigate the mouthwatering options, and I appreciated how transparent and appetizing everything sounded. The ambiance was equally inviting. The cheerful atmosphere was alive with upbeat music, smiling employees, and happy customers. The wall decor was strikingly beautiful, adding a vibrant and artistic touch to the space. We found a cozy table and were quickly presented with menus and offered beverage choices. As we browsed through the menu, we couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the incredible array of options--each dish sounded better than the last! It was a struggle, but we finally made our decisions. We started with the Chips and Guacamole and then moved on to our main courses. My wife chose the Steak Fajita Bowl, while I opted for the Chicken Tinga Corn Tacos. As we waited for our food, the restaurant began to fill up, the buzz of activity adding to the lively and welcoming vibe. The Chips and Guacamole arrived quickly, and what a treat they were! The chips were unbelievably fresh and had that unmistakable crispness of being freshly made in-house. The guacamole? Sublime. Creamy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned--it was so good I joked about wanting to bathe in it. I'm completely in love with this guacamole and could easily make a meal of just that. Soon after we polished off the appetizer, our main dishes arrived, and the incredible aromas from our plates were almost too much to handle. The Chicken Tinga Tacos were a masterpiece. The crunch of the tortillas was like music to my ears, and the savory, spiced flavor of the chicken was pure perfection. Every bite was a revelation, and I found myself wishing it would never end. My wife's Steak Fajita Bowl looked just as enticing. The vibrant mix of ingredients was beautifully presented, and to my surprise, she finished every last bite--a rarity for her. She's usually the one asking for a to-go box, but this time, she couldn't bear to leave a morsel behind. Either she was extremely hungry or the dish was so incredible she simply couldn't stop eating. I'm inclined to believe it was the latter. What can I say? The entire meal was a triumph of flavor, freshness, and quality. I'm already planning my return visits--there are so many more dishes I want to try. My only regret? Forgetting to take pictures of this unforgettable meal! What was I thinking? El Camino Gourmet Tacos has officially earned a spot on my list of favorite places. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. You'll be hooked from the first bite!
