I came to Taco Lindo while my car was getting an oil change at the mechanic down the road. I was warmly welcomed promptly upon my arrival. I ordered the special, chicken tacos. I was served chips and salsa within a few minutes of sitting down. I also ordered the Happy Hour special, a house margarita that packed a punch! . The chicken was a tiny bit dry but was otherwise a very good taco! I would wholeheartedly recommend Taco Lindo and will be back the next time my car needs an oil change!

The amount of food you get for the price is amazing. It was also so good. There is a white sauce/cheese that I love. I eat it off the tin plate when I'm done. The staff is friendly. They give me free chips! I've only done take out. My new favorite Mexican place and I like it's local, and family owned. I got the Grande Burro twice, and the Burritos Mexicano once. The beef option is so good!

    Enchiladas Yolanda

My exploration of Mexican restaurants in Twin Cities suburbs continues and brought me to Taco Lindo. The decor and friendly staff made it a memorable experience - the server sang happy birthday to a person in our party. The enchiladas Yolanda was fantastic! And everyone in our party loved their food - tacos, sopes, fajitas, and enchiladas. Will return again soon!

Amazing service from Oscar. The food was amazing. Truly AMAZING. I am so excited to go back. The chips and dip were plentiful and the tacos so flavorful. The plate came with 3 tacos and that was the perfect amount (though I could eat 10 they are so yummy!) The tables and chairs are so pretty. It's small, but comfy. Definitely stop next time you're in SLP.

    Street Tacos

I have been eyeing this taco joint since it has opened and finally went for a pickup. The street tacos are ok but for the price, I'd hoped they were regular corn tortillas. For $2.50/taco and comparing to local taco trucks, it was a disappointment for them to be street tortillas. The rice and beans just miss the mark completely. The beans have no flavoring which just made them heated up black beans and the rice is exceptionally dry. There is potential for this place to be a true hidden gem. The cooks really need to tap in to flavoring and touching on what sells. It would've been really cool for them to have hot ticket items like Birria tacos and elote. When I'm craving some quick simple tacos, I'll stop there. They did do the creamy green salsa well.

A cute little Mexican place in spring lake park with great food and Customer service. The set up is similar to Chipotle but it's authentic Mexican. We got Sopes with Steak and an Elote. The Sopes came with refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. Both were delicious. Will definitely go back and try other things on the menu.

This place is always delicious. They have a small, perfect menu, and fast service. It can be a struggle to find authentic Mexican cuisine that isn't catered to Minnesota taste buds, but this is one of the few in the region who keep it real to how it should be. So good.

    Awesome ambience.

Exceptional! The lovely service was only surpassed by the incredible food. We feasted on the Fish Tacos, Carnitas Tacos, Seafood Burrito and Chori Pollo. Every dish was incredibly flavorful and very fresh. This place knows what they're doing. They also have a full bar with top shelf Margaritas. Def our new goto when we find ourselves in the area.

Mediocre and pricey - not worth the money. After months of watching construction on this new place, I tried out the new Taco Lindo. I was mostly disappointed. The food was sketchy and the price was too high for what I got. They have a drive-through window and a small indoor seating area. This is Mexican fast food type stuff, similar to Chipotle but not as good. My Beef Chimichangas were decent but they gave me the wrong beef. I ordered steak but they gave me ground beef. Bummer. My small amount of refried beans were watery and cold. Yuck. And my Horchata was Horshitta and bland. It didn't have enough vanilla and cinnamon. Lame. The only thing that was passable was my side order of corn chips & queso cheese dip. All of this set me back a little over 24 bucks. This was way too steep for the food they gave me. I would have been better off going to the McDonald's drive through a block away and spending 12 bucks on a Number 1 Big Mac Meal. Disappointing after my long wait to try this place out. I left feeling like I just threw away 24 bucks. I should probably give them 2 stars but I'm going with 3 stars because they have the guts to open a new place during a pandemic. Unfortunately, I won't be going back to this one. -Daddy Maxx Retro

We've been here about 4 times in the last year and love the food. Small, guessing family owned place. Good people and great food.

Food isn't good anymore. The old chef is gone. Meat was dry and unseasoned. Wouldn't recommend.

As soon as we entered, we were greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance that's common in many Midwest restaurants, with rustic charm and a welcoming vibe. We were promptly checked in and seated at a cozy table that gave us a perfect view of the bustling restaurant. Our server, Monica, immediately made an impression with her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm for the menu. With so many tempting options, we took a little time to peruse, and she patiently guided us through the extensive selections, recommending some of her personal favorites. We decided to kick things off with a couple of refreshing drinks; I chose the rich and robust Negra Modelo while my girlfriend opted for the smooth and crisp Victoria. Both drinks perfectly set the tone for a fantastic evening ahead. As for the food, it surpassed our expectations. I ordered the carne asada, and let me tell you, it was absolutely divine--a medley of flavors that danced on my palate! The steak was perfectly grilled, tender, and well-seasoned, served with a side that complemented it beautifully. My girlfriend chose the chimichangas, which were nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. Crisp on the outside and bursting with savory goodness on the inside, she was more than pleased with her choice. The portion sizes were nothing short of gigantic, and the generous helpings made it clear that this place doesn't hold back when it comes to satisfying their guests. We quickly filled our plates and savored every last bite, knowing we might have to roll ourselves out of there by the end of our meal! Throughout our time there, Monica continued to shine. She was remarkably attentive, ensuring that our drinks were refilled promptly and checking in to make sure we were enjoying everything. Her warm service added a personal touch that made our experience even more enjoyable. One of the great bonuses is the ample parking available in front of the restaurant, which is always a plus. Additionally, there's a shopping center next door where you can pick up groceries at Aldi or grab some liquor at Merwin's. It's the perfect spot to round off the evening or stock up on essentials. Overall, our visit was a delightful experience filled with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and outstanding service. This place has certainly earned a spot on our go-to list for future outings!
