Second time here and really confused with the low ratings and bad reviews. Their best item in my opinion are the hard shell tacos. Tried both chicken and beef this time. We preferred the beef, but chicken was pretty good as well. Re-ordered the five rolled tacos supreme and just like last time, the asada was a little dry but the taquitos were very good. The reason I upped my rating was the service and cleanliness of the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly and inviting. They were cleaning the whole time we were there and it was spotless. I felt guilty every time I went up for salsa cause it's hard not to drop a little salsa into their tiny salsa cups which might be my only complaint. VERY AUTHENTIC!! Served out a truck next to a tire store with seating under a big tent. It's off the beaten path, it's not glamorous, but if you're near the area or heading west, you must stop by. I cried because it was so good, but mostly because I took too big of a chomp out of a pepper. Amazing tacos, vampiros, and sauces. Portions are veryyyy generous, as the meat is piled high. Food comes with lemons, cucumbers, and finely chopped cabbage + picked red onions on the tacos/vampiros. We liked the carne asade best. They also have burritos and quesadillas that looked huge. We enjoyed the horchata, but it wasn't strained too well - a little chalky and huge chunks of cinnamon. However the flavor was good and helpful for when I was crying. read more

This place being 3.5/5 is criminal. It's a 5/5 for their breakfast burrito. They're open for actual breakfast hours. The burrito is delicious. The green salsa is delicious. The price is right. I asked for carne asada fries well done with no meat. I got soggy fries with a way too much nacho cheese. :/ I got a small drink with it & it was $15.67. Most of the fries weren't even edible they were barley cooked. & they make you pay for the meat when you don't want any. The least they could do was make it edible. read more

Been coming here for a while for the breakfast burritos. They are excellent, there's nothing really special about them but they taste just like the homemade ones my mom used to make! The green salsa is also what keeps me coming back. Great flavor! My wife ordered the menudo which was also very good. Don't miss out of the Agua de Fresa either! Well sometimes it's Great and other days it's not so good.... Today I was bummed! This is the second time I get a super salty burrito, almost as if they are trying to mask something. I have even gone back to return it due to the lack of quality. The owner is very graceful and helpful. He offered to replace the item (mar y Tierra burrito), which I did for an amazing shrimp burrito. Maybe it's the meats? I was craving something close to home and I ordered the chile rojo burrito. First of I would like to say that this review is based off of my overall experience, with that being said the food is bomb and 4 out of 5 stars: the best is the ceviche. Best ceviche you will find anywhere. The menudo was really clean but lacked flavor 4 out of 5. As for the 3 start review it is based off a rude cashier. So we asked for chips on our order and we're given chips and then we're told we could come back up and get more chips since we had also ordered a menudo. So I go up there to get more chips, and the rude older Mexican cashier lady said "no" that you have to pay for it. Even though we were told otherwise. I pay for it she gives me attitude anyway.
