2 pollo/chicken tacos & 2 carne asada
Hil S.

So so so so so GOOD! The pollo/chicken was some of the best I've ever had in my life and I have has a ton of Mexican food all over the bay! Also the cucumbers were so fresh I don't think they have had any refrigeration which is so delicious. I ordered 4 tacos and 2 pollo, 2 carne asada. Incredible! The women working there were awesome, and everything was quick. I wish I lived closer so I could eat here all the time. 10/10

Great service by a great family who has taken the time to share their home recipes. It's a small trailer in a used car lot that can showcase home cooked recipes at its best. We always get the tacos because they have hand-made fresh tortillas and well seasoned meats. Another go to item is the quesadilla de maiz with a fresh hand made tortilla. Their sauces are all amazing, especially their orange sauce that is easily better than the well known la vics orange sauce. It's not even a fair comparison. La kiki's has much more flavor in all the right ways. We have been coming here for about a year now and we will continue to come here for the great food and to see the awesome family that operates this place.

Pastor tacos

You guys are missing OUT. This food is bomb I ordered a few pastor tacos, friend got carne, omggggggg are these tortillas home made. Great salsas, rice is delicious. Sometimes a girl just wants a side of red rice. Not sure if it's the owner taking my order but what a sweetheart. Drinks are cold. Little outdoor seating area is comfy with a fire. I'm def happy

I am going to have to come back and try some of the other items as well but this is a new favorite. I think the rojo salsa may be a little too spicy for my gringo taste buds.

It's located in a parking lot right by the Whole Foods on Almaden Expy. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by a woman who gave a brief rundown of the menu and how to order. They accepted Zelle as a payment method which was a plus! We ordered a variety of tacos and one burrito and only waited about 10-15 min for our order. I was surprised to see how many people were there esp for a late night weekday dinner so the short wait for our food was appreciated! Onto the tacos ($4 ea): I tried the al pastor, carne asada, and lengua. The pastor was DELICIOUS and marinated perfectly. The carne asada didn't hit as much as the pastor did, but the lengua was also good too. They're generous with the meats here which was nice! I liked that everything was priced fairly especially considering how expensive things have been getting. The service was great so will definitely be finding myself back :)

We were happy to see another Panana Night Market at Ontario Mills…read more We came early during the day and there was plenty of parking, no line to get in. Admission was free and I rsvp'd for tickets online, got an email and done. You could also scan a QR code at the entrance for free admission. It was not too full, so there were almost no lines for the food vendors. We were able to try a few different ones and also found a place to sit and eat. We did enjoy the selection of food vendors, just wished that the market overall had been a little bigger. Had a good time and would definitely go again next time.

Free admission, no line for entry, advance tickets unnecessary, no ticket check at all. This food festival is almost identical to 626 and Foodieland, but only one fifth the size. It had all the same elements, just "mini" versions... a mini stage with live music, a mini sized area with games and prizes, a minimal number of merchandise vendors, minimal seating options (mostly near the stage), and even less tables, so hopefuly you like eating on your lap or standing up, and even with about 20 food trucks/tents and drink stands, it felt like minimal food offerings as well. Good news is this meant the crowds, lines, and waits were mini too, or non-existent. I went around 6pm, and I think the longest line I saw was about 7-8 people, and for many there was no line at all. Here's the food lineup for this Saturday when I visited (though this could change on Sunday, or during future events in October): Flor de Pineapple PennyLane Sweets & Treats 3 Brothers Kitchen Chicken Bros Honey Cones ABVE The Basics Grenade beverages (more creative options than just giant baby bottles) Uncle Papa's BBQ Churro stand Heluo Kitchen Bun Me Up (bao buns) Supreme Musubi Katna's Kitchen (authentic filipino food) Spy Family (tea & lemonade) Pupuseria Nathalia California's Crepes Nana Bear's Mini Donuts Wise Jun-Kombucha Mezcla (Columbian eats) Potato Hut Kimoy (chamoy korean-mexican fusion candy) By 6:30pm, several trucks started to run out of popular items, but there were still plenty of options. I only tried the shrimp quesadilla from ABVE The Basics, and chocolate donuts from Nana Bear's Mini Donuts. Both items were delish! Slightly overpriced as you would expect at this type of event, but the quality, ingredients, and service were more than satisfactory. They even put the food in takeout containers as requested. Had fun being a fatty... and you can too! For 2023, the San Jose event takes place downtown this weekend and returns for two different weekends in October.

Cool photo ops and art on display, DJ playing lively music. Parking horrific in this plaza, the event space small and crowded AF, lack of variety of food options (some of the listed vendors and eateries not even on site), numerous food stands with items sold out and crossed off on the menus three hours before closing time on Saturday. I did pick up a sweet and delicious chocolate chip cookie from Browned Butter Babe before leaving, but overall I was not impressed with this event.

There was a dj playing music. I heard some Justin Bieber while standing in line for food. Food was so good and my favorite was thai tea in a bag. So worth it and great price. It was authentic and stronger than a Thai tea I had at another food market I went to. Menus were hard to see at night, but I was surprised and happy with the bun baos which was hot and juicy. $16 for 2. Highly suggest grabbing a Nha sunset drink. I saw lots of people walking around with an orange drink with their brand on it. It's so popular. They had 2 other drinks, but their shop said it was sold out. I have noticed that parking was difficult. I think in general my bf said that Grand Century Mall/aka Vietnam Town is busy. We parked more on the side of the night market instead of the entrance to the mall. Walk was short to the night market. Fun night with bf and my sister.

In general, it tends to be something they can make beforehand, kept warm, and then add toppings and sauce on quickly. So compared to a lot of the concession stands, you'll get your food more quickly. Not necessarily right away, but still generally faster. At least there's more of a chance that your food will actually be somewhat warm. If there's a specific flavor you want to try, I would recommend getting it before Monday. By then, a few flavors are sold out and/or unavailable. They also have a number of bottled drinks that cost the same or even a bit more expensive than the ones you'll find at the snack booths. (The ones that aren't concession stands, but the Dealer's Hall booths that sell Japanese bottled drinks, chips, and snacks.) The main upside would be that Hirotako's drinks are cold. Hirotako is a third-party vendor/catering company that, most generally relevant, partners with anime conventions. For those in the South Bay, this means you've most likely seen them at Fanime, the Crunchyroll Expo, and the Silicon Valley Comic Con. Their focus is Japanese street food and, according to their site, they don't charge booking fees. Basically, you can add them along with whatever catering company you are hiring to bus out the majority of the food. Overall, always nice to see them at Fanime. They're always good for a snack to tide you over, though I wouldn't recommend it (or any of the concession stands) for when you're on a tight schedule. The hot dogs they were selling this year were nice and filling, but I hope they go back to takoyaki or even something more interesting next year. We kind of already have the stands outside the convention center selling Mexican snacks, aqua frescas, and rather amazing smelling hot dogs.
